    Just because somebody else was able to sell what you''re currently holding definitely doesn''t equate to your item being at that value.


    It doesn''t take a genius to realize you could sell the item to yourself (or team up with people you know) to artificially make it appear much more valuable. The next step obviously being waiting a while before relisting and hoping some fool buys it.


    This almost certainly is somewhere in the gray zone or straight up illegal, but people will definitely do it.
