Chapter 391: Equalizer
Trantor: Mercurial_ Editor: DarkGem
"System, do you really detect high density flux energy in this region?" Li Yunmu asked again.
[Yes.]
"Then why wasn’t it detected in Earth’s true territory?"
The system was silent for a while, then replied with absolute certainty, [Because that ce didn’t have high density of flux energy. The system is certain of that.]
This reply was both good and bad news for Li Yunmu.
[ording to the sea breeze whale’s words about the special dimensional spaces which possess high density of flux energy, the system has determined that all of them have a few characteristics inmon.
[First, there wouldn’t be any dimensional beasts who had condensed their flux crystals in those regions with high density of flux energy. This would be because therge amount of flux energy would have assimted with the dimensional space without any need for it to condense into crystal form.
[Second, it is highly possible that the origin of flux energy in such regions is the boundless Origin World. Thus, the dimensional spaces which have high density of flux energy should all be in contact with the Origin World.]
[Third, the system has a suspicion that all the high density dimensional spaces are also rted with other nes. It is highly possible that the reason why they possess such a high density of flux energy is because they act as a medium between the Origin World and the other nes.]
When Li Yunmu heard all of them, he found it almost inconceivable. He had no understanding of the information and data based on which the system had deduced this probability, but he had confidence in its ever reliable nature.
"ording to what you are saying, if this third point is true, then wouldn’t it mean that there are many ces through which one could leave the Origin World?"
When Li Yunmu heard the third point of the system’s analysis, he was shaken to his core.
A day ago, he was still worrying about how to return to Earth. That was why when he heard the system’s conclusion after detecting the high density flux energy region, he was left stupefied.
[Theoretically, this point should be true,] the system replied.
"Then how can you exin that within the past hundreds and thousands of years, no deity from the Origin World has appeared on Earth?"
[Regarding the question raised by the host, the system believes—after having done a thorough analysis—that it is definitely rted to the most important hidden truth. It is definitely the reason behind the established equilibrium among the different nes. If sufficient information could be gathered, then the system could uncover the identity of the one who keeps the bnce.]
"Keeps the bnce? You mean there is someone because of whom all the different nes have existed in harmony for so many years?"
[Yes, but it is highly possible that they are not a human. It is also possible that they aren’t a living creature. Because ofck of information, the system cannot determine the identity of the equalizer for the time being.]
The more Li Yunmu heard, the more muddle-headed he became. He was certain that the system had certainly gathered some important information and spected based on it. But because the most crucial parts were missing, it couldn’t unveil the enigma which was the equalizer. Thus, it didn’t tell Li Yunmu everything.
After all, that would only increase the pressure on him and make him even more confused. The system, however, existed to provide assistance to host and not to interfere=.
However given his keen insight, Li Yunmu could still hear the trace of a threat in the system’s tone.
Suddenly he thought about the quasi deities of the sixty-six nes, including the most wise ones from Earth, who had sent some people to scout the Origin World.
Otherwise, how could they guide the descenders? Without it, what would happen to them?
Perhaps thest generation of descenders didn’t go in such numbers, but there still should have been at least a few. Then how could there be no traces of them in the Origin World?
It was like they hadpletely evaporated from thend and thus the new generation’s descenders like Li Yunmu and Zheng Quan couldn’t find even a mention of their existence.
The people of the Origin World also hadn’t discovered their tracks, not having any idea of the possibility of there being descenders.
After Li Yunmu thought of that, he felt his heart go cold.
Perhaps that ’equalizer’ mentioned by the system was someone who brought fear and trepidation to people’s heart, the true bane and nightmare of the descenders.
"Brother Yunmu, what happened?"
Wang Yan suddenly discovered that his mental state wasn’t okay and questioned him with concern.
"Nothing, I was thinking about some matter," Li Yunmu hastily replied.
"You don’t need to be anxious about Zhang Yuan and them. Since we dared to bring outsiders here, it means we have already considered this hateful scenario."
Wang Yan’s face suddenly turned red, and she took Li Yunmu’s hand in her delicate hands.
Li Yunmu was startled, feeling the softness of her hands against his. He knew that she had definitely misunderstood, thinking that he was worried about Zhang Yuan, and so took the initiative tofort him.
"Zhang Yuan upies one of the front twenty rooms in our residential region."
Li Yunmu’s feelings were slightlyplex; he didn’t want to exploit this woman who treated him sincerely. That was why he had maintained a distance from her until then.
However, Wang Yan’s heart was set on him, and she was falling deeper and deeper.
"I know. We also know that his genuine strength is much higher than what he disys. But we also have our methods, so brother Yunmu should rest easy," Wang Yan said without any concern.
Although Zhang Yuan was a noble, he shouldn’t be feared just because of that ’noble’ word.
The Origin World was inexhaustible and possessed billions and billions of people. Naturally, the numbers of nobles would also berge, and their status was far higher than that of the barbarians.
But if someone truly investigated their background and status, they would discover that there was arge disparity in status of different nobles. It was only obvious that those who woulde to Blue Moon Ind to gain experience wouldn’t have any great background.
That was why whenparing Zhang Yuan with Zheng Quan’s group of three in terms of trump cards and reserves, the results were quite clear. From beginning to the end, Li Yunmu was never optimistic about Zhang Yuan’s chances in battle.
