    “Could I please stay with you? I hope that you can rescue me from this situation. I’ll serve you well in return…” She looked pitiful as she said it sincerely.


    Long Fan seemed to be moved by the situation. There was not a single person who could y the instrument in his base camp, and that was horrible! Hence, it might be a good idea to bring her back. However, he was a cautious person, so he smiled but did not respond.


    He then made a gesture to his subordinates and ordered them to leave the room. Perhaps, they went to find out more about thedy. About 15 minutester, Long Fan’s aides returned and whispered something into his ear. Long Fan seemed to havee up with an idea.


    He looked at thedy and said casually, “I can save you, but I’ll need to perform first.”


    Thedy’s eyes were sparkling. “Sure!”


    She quickly served them tea while Long Fan observed her. Though he had camouged himself, he was still very charming and was able to attract a lot of attention from girls.


    No girl in this era could be calm and steady when a rich and handsome man was staring at them. Thus, thedy’s face became red, and her hands were shaking when she tried to fill the teacup with water. Seeing how shy and reserved thedy behaved, Long Fan was satisfied with what he observed.


    Though she was not as beautiful as Gu Xijiu, she was gentle and lovely. Furthermore, she was talented in music and was also somewhat understanding. Thus, he felt that it might be a good idea to keep her as his servant.


    He then sighed as he looked at Gu Xijiu. Even though this little girl was his best creation and was so beautiful, her temper was killing him. She was like a rose with plenty of thorns. The most annoying part was the fact that she was so arrogant and disobedient.


    It was typical for a beautiful girl to stare at another beautiful girl. Hence, Long Fan was not surprised when he noticed that Gu Xijiu had been observing thedy for some time. To tease her, he asked thedy to serve her, “Take care of the old master. He’s probably thirsty as we’ve been sitting here for some time.”


    Thedy was stunned and looked as though she was unwilling to serve the old grandfather. However, she needed help from them and had no choice. “Yes, sir.”


    She then walked to Gu Xijiu and poured her a cup of tea. She then lifted the cup and brought it up to her lips. Her hands were indeed fair, and she smelled so good as she moved. Gu Xijiu enjoyed the fragrance, and suddenly her body became stiff as her heart skipped a beat and her lips identally hit the teacup.


    Thedy was unaware and spilled the tea all over Gu Xijiu’s robe.


    “My apologies! My apologies!” Thedy panicked and quickly took out a handkerchief to clean. The tea was still hot, so Gu Xijiu struggled in pain! Her body felt weak, and she suddenly fell into thedy’s arm along with her chair when she moved.


    Thedy screamed as she slumped to the floor and became Gu Xijiu’s cushion.
