    Meanwhile, the man in green returned with the Longevity Locket. The man in ck examined the Longevity Locket for a while and found nothing strange about it. It was a locket with a rather ordinary design,plemented with a finely-made jade piece.


    After some thought, the master decided to send the man in green on a mission to give the locket back. Certainly, he was not interested in the jewelry, especially when it was meant as a gift to a young child.


    The man in green robe added before leaving, “Master, should I strengthen the array formation now?”


    “Yes.” the man in ck nodded. The two of them then proceeded to another part of the garden and disappeared into the darkness.


    Secondster, the garden returned to its usual tranquility. This bamboo garden had an aesthetic appeal; it had some of the best views of the rocky mountains and endless rows of purple trees.


    The man in ck was leaning against one of the rocks a few moments ago while having a conversation with his followers. About 30 feet away, stood a rock in the shape of a human. After they left, the human-shaped rock started shaking violently and all of a sudden, turned into a youngdy in a grey dress. She was Gu Xijiu, who was rumored to have returned to Luo Hua City.


    After her emergence, she took out another rock of simr size from her storage bag to rece the empty spot. The ce was very quiet and not frequently visited. Gu Xijiu had leaned against one of the bamboo trees and stoodzily. She watched as the man in ck disappeared from a distance and smiled.


    She looked at the bracelet on her wrist and gave it a few gentle taps. “Little Cang, stop ying dead. I have transferred some spiritual power to you. It is time for you to wake up.”


    The dull and ck bracelet on her wrist finally came alive and flickered with a weak glimmer of light. In Gu Xijiu’s head, a conversation started to surface, “Master, I am injured. This world is not suitable for me.” It must be badly injured. Even its voice sounded weak with ack of vitality.


    Gu Xijiu teased, “Neither is it for me. Tell me, what kind of setting is this? I have nevermitted anything sinful in heaven. I have even rescued the lives of many people there, and yet I was sent to this ce without any memory. I have wasted months here living my life like a savage. What is the sense in all this? The heavenlyw has been very unfair to me!”


    “Master, your memory has returned!” The Firmament Stone sounded hopeful and excited.


    “Of course. Did you really think that I would lose my memory forever?”
