    In theke, Gu Xijiu gave him a wave with a smile. “Fuyi, will you join me?”


    Di Fuyi froze momentarily. He somehow recalled that Gu Xijiu had been addressing him as the Devil King recently. It had been a very long time since she called him by his name. The familiarity was overwhelming. He stood in a daze by theke.


    Gu Xijiu tilted her head in confusion. “What is wrong? Don’t you want to swim with me?”


    Di Fuyi sat down by the water and sighed. “I feel quite tired today. You should keep swimming. I will join youter.”


    Gu Xijiu did not want to trouble him anymore and continued her swim. She thought she would try to impress him with her excellent swimming skills and fancy moves to cheer him up.     “All right!” Gu Xijiu walked towards him and was ready to sit down when a seven-colored light suddenly shed before her eyes. The lightpletely surrounded her. It was all too sudden and too close, so she had no chance to escape. Surrounded by the light, she could feel her entire body burning in mes.


    She screamed out loud and wanted to jump into the water to ease the pain. However, the seven-colored ray hadpletely bound her, restricting her even from the slightest movement. Her skin was shed and cut as the result of the violent light, thus causing her a considerable amount of pain.


    Blinded by the seven-colored light, she called out, “Celestial Master Zuo, what are you doing?”


    Di Fuyi slowly rose and threw an icy look at her. “Yun Qingluo, did you really think that I would not know it is you?”
