The young pce master expressed her point of view, artictely. Everything that she said was false, but she made it sound believable.
Some of the people in the crowd were convinced. In fact, if Yun Yanli had not stopped them from going to see the Star Formation earlier, they would have totally believed what the young pce master had just said. Nheless, things weredifferent now.
“Who do you believe in?” Di Fuyi asked with a smile while looking at the crowd for an answer.
The people answered in unison, “We believe in you!”
Embarrassed, Yun Yanli stood there quietly.
On the other hand, the young pce master was annoyed. “What a bunch of fools! Unbelievable!”
Some people could no longer suppress their anger and started protesting, “If you are not guilty, why did you stop us from going to the other cities to check their Star Formation? After what happened in Leguo City, the only thing you tried to do was to conceal the news. You even arrested so many talented people who only wanted to find out the truth behind the formations and killed them by convicting them of treason. How many of them have you killed? I am sure you know the number. You tried to keep the truth away from us, but the more you tried, the more obvious it became. We had be suspicious of you a long time ago. Do you really think that we are fools?”
When one man rose in opposition, others felt brave enough to follow suit. All of them had enough of the mess. Finally, they had the chance to voice out how they felt.
Being an arrogant person, the young pce master could not deal with it when someone challenged her authority. Impulsively, she wanted to whip the first man who challenged them. She withdrew her whip and used almost all of her spiritual power tounch an attack at him; obviously, she wanted him dead. However, before she could reach the man, a sword swung by and knocked her whip away.
“Gu Qing, have you decided to join the rebels?” The young pce master was furious.
The one who stopped her was one of her closest followers. He was also a man who was born and raised in the Shura World.
“The people of the Shura World deserve to know the truth,” Gu Qing said with his teeth gritted.
