Although they were injured, the armed men refused to surrender and continued to give in to Gu Xijiu’s request. Getting tired of their games, she shot one of the men right in the head. He fell to the ground and was lifeless.
“Answer my questions, or you will end up just as same,” she warned while throwing another look at them.

The officer’s face went pale. Quickly, the others reached into their boots as well, only to find that their weapon had been taken away. The woman was obviously not a mortal.

Furthermore, almost all the people of the Starry Crescent Land were either killed or imprisoned. The prisoners would be turned into ves with no freedom or rights.
