Chapter 1013: Truth or Lies


    Burning tears streaked down Li Huowang’s cheeks, dripping onto the floor. He stared at the unmoving Yang Na in despair. There was nothing he could do.


    Wu Qi sighed and spoke gently, “You used to live in a mental asylum, didn’t you? Then you should recognize what’s happening to her. Severe depression often ends like this. I can’t even imagine how she managed to find us here.”

    Wu Qi pursed her lips and quietly slipped out of the room, leaving the couple to themselves.


    Li Huowang talked incessantly to Yang Na, who finally replied after thirty minutes.

    Li Huowang released her, noticing the light return to her eyes.

    Li Huowang sighed in relief after hearing those words. Yang Na had returned to normal.

    <em>Knock, knock. </em>The lovely atmosphere was interrupted by the knocking on the door.


    Li Huowang turned to see Yi Doni standing there, his face anxious.


    “Talk. Nana is an ally.”


    Yi Doni entered, locking the door behind him. He opened his mouth to speak, but Li Huowang interrupted, “Wait.”


    Li Huowang stood up and started rummaging around the furniture in the room.
