Chapter 169: Chapter 165: Meeting the Cousin

    Seeing as Kara had saved the venture with her cousin, which housed Lena Luthor, Talia smiled before she disappeared in a sh of light, deciding to make an appearance at the DEO as Sris, mostly so she could formally meet the rk of this world. The man wasn''t nearly as strong as his Earth TUD25 counterpart, nor was he as old and experienced, but he was still a Superman, and a man she would like to properly meet.


    Reappearing in a sh of light, Talia smiled underneath her mask as she found her adorable hero standing next to her cousin, the rk Kent of this universe, and the reason Kara is known as Supergirl and not something else.


    "S-Sris! I didn''t think you''de here" Kara stuttered out in surprise, as her face was soon covered with a wide smile, happy to see Talia, even if it was as Sris.


    "Yes well, I wanted to meet this cousin of yours, and I thought now was the perfect time" Sris responded as she walked forward, before standing in front of rk and extended her hand.


    "It''s nice to finally meet the man of steel" Sris said as she shook the mans hand, he smiled at the greeting.


    "And it''s nice to meet the Woman of the Sun. My cousin talks about you a lot, Talia" rk said as Talia''s eyebrow raised before ncing at Kara who nodded slowly.


    "She didn''t tell you that I knew, did she?" rk sighed out, ncing at his cousin who looked to the side awkwardly, understanding that she probably should have told Talia about that little fact.


    "No, no she did not, rk" Sris replied with a sigh, ncing at Kara as rk''s eyebrow shot to the sky which caused Talia to smile amusedly.


    "And she didn''t tell you that I knew who you are, did she?" Sris asked.


    "It seems she didn''t tell both of us about our knowledge of each other" rk said with a chuckle, not mad about Talia knowing who he was. Besides the fact that she was Kara''s girlfriend and Kara trusted her with her life, she was also the greatest hero on the, or close to it, so he trusted her enough to let her know who he truly was.


    Before the two could talk more, J''onn walked over to them.


    "J''onn" rk greeted tensely, as he was...not a fan of the DEO. They had arge stash of Kryptonite, something that he did not trust in the least, and was the reason why he never worked with or for them. As he couldn''t trust a government organization with something that can kill him and Kara.


    "Superman. Nice to see you again" J''onn responded somewhat coldly.


    "Oh, don''t worry, I won''t be staying long" rk responded as Alex and Kara looked between the two awkwardly, while Talia inwardly raised an eyebrow at the way they were acting.


    "Uh, I just invited Superman to visit out mystery guest" Kara responded, remembering the Daxamite that she wasn''t supposed to know was a Daxamite. She was just waiting for Talia to out what the man was to the others, so they wouldn''t suspect her or anything.


    Hearing her response, J''onn nced at rk before saying "Follow me". After saying this he just walked off, not waiting to see if the man had actually followed him or not.


    Walking after the Martian, the group was led up to ab/infirmary that held the unknown man, as Talia nced him over, before discreetly yoinking a few blood samples from him for the future.


    "So this is the unknown alien? Didn''t think I''d see a Daxamite out here" Talia said openly, not even hiding her knowledge of what he was, as there was no point.


    "Daxamite?" Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.


    "Basically the cousins of Kryptonians, they evolved differently than Kryptonians after moving to a nearby moon. They''re not nearly as strong, can''t fly, and are usually weaker than a Kryptonian. But, they also have an immunity to Kryptonite, so that sort of makes up for it" Talia replied, exining the biology of the Daxamites.


    "And what are their weaknesses?" J''onn asked, knowing that Talia had all sorts of knowledge in her brain, much of which was on aliens and their biology.


    "They''re weak to lead primarily. And in a world like ours, that''s a pretty easy weakness to take advantage of" Talia replied, as J''onn''s eyebrow shot up at this piece of information.


    "Lead, really?" Alex asked, surprised.


    "From what I can tell, their home couldn''t naturally create lead, which has led to ack of resistance and evolution to ovee the effects of it, hence why they are weak to it" Talia replied, as that was the truth. From what the Kryptonian archives had spoken of, and from what she remembered from theics.


    "And what about their strength?"


    "Everything is under that of a Kryptonian, you don''t need to worry about that" Talia waved off any of J''onn''s worries. As the Daxamites weren''t much of a threat to her or Kara, not anymore. After she had eaten the devil fruit, Kara far overwhelmed them in power, and thanks to her immunity to Kryptonite and the Red Sun, even that wouldn''t harm her any longer. All thanks to Talia and her help.


    "And are there more of them that we need to worry about, or is this thest of them?" Alex asked.


    "There''s almost certainly more of them, I''m not sure how many, but I''d guess that there are dozens of them left out in the wider universe. But like I said, you won''t need to worry about them, Kara and I can take care of them easily enough" Talia replied, as J''onn let out a sigh.


    "Which means we may be seeing more of them" J''onn said.


    "It''s likely, yes. If the man was sent away in a ship like that, then he is probably important, and considering the Daxamites have a Monarchy, then he''s probably the Prince, or a high ranking noble in their society. And if that''s the case, then we can expect a lot of new visitors over the next year" Talia replied, nodding at what J''onn had said, as it was going to happen.


    "I''d like to speak to you more on the Daxamites and the potential threat they pose to the. But at the moment we have something more important to speak about, that being the Venture"


    "You mean the one Lena Luthor was supposed to be on?" Talia replied, as he looked at her in slight surprise.


    "Lena Luthor was supposed to be on the venture? Nevermind, what I need is to do more digging. Thepany who created the ship said that there was an explosion when the ship reached low orbit insertion. Which means that someone was being targeted on that ship, and we need to find out who" J''onn replied, surprised with the information that Talia held, and wondering how she knew so much.


    "Well isn''t it obvious then? You need to have Kara and rk go and meet with Lena Luthor" Talia said, as Kara and rk nodded at the idea. The Lex of this world was in prison already, meaning that the Luthor name was not exactly loved, and that dislike that people held had carried over to Lena, even though she hadn''t actually done anything wrong, besides carry the

    Watching as the two began to make their way out of the room (not before Kara pressed a kiss against her cheek), Talia only had one thought on her mind.


    ''...Seems like it''s a good time to finally see what is in that new dungeon of mine''
