    Fang Yiming couldn’t sit still and immediately shouted, “Men, prepare the carriage! ”

They were about to ce it on the ox cart at the entrance when the two kids appeared. They immediately asked,”Hello! Where is Sanfu? He has a ssmate who is waiting for him at the vige entrance. Tell him to hurry over.”


    “Xue Yan’s ssmate is here?” Xue Erfu was pleasantly surprised. “Xue Yan and Jiang Yue are still drying the rice in the paddy field. Many of the rice is notpletely dried yet. You guys can go to the paddy field and find them there. We can’t leave.”


    “Okay!” Xue Dabao and Xue Xiaobao immediately ran back to the paddy field, hand in hand.


    Xue Erfu ced therge wooden box on the ox cart as he asked curiously, “You’re already here. Why are you waiting at the vige entrance? It can’t be Yuxuan, right? Yuxuan wouldn’t be waiting at the vige entrance. The coachman will usually send Yuxuan directly to our door.”


    “Maybe he doesn’t want to enter the vige today,” Xue Sanfu said faintly.


    Xue Erfu agreed. “From the looks of it, he probably won’t be here for lunch. It’s rare for him toe here. Don’t we still have the seedless watermelons we just picked today. We also had some strawberries, tomatoes, and some dried rice noodles right? We should send some to them.     Jiang Yue and Xue Yan were wearing straw hats and had rakes in their hands. They were turning over the rice in the sun. They were about to make lunch, so they were preparing to leave.

    The old man who was chasing birds under the shade of a tree smiled and said, “Xue Yan, go quickly. We’ll help you look after Jiang Yue, but you have toe back quickly too. We’ll be going home soon.”


    Xue Yan had originally nned to bring Jiang Yue along, but the old man stopped him, so he had no choice but to leave Jiang Yue on the paddy field to continue raking the rice.


    Jiang Yue didn’t mind. In fact, she didn’t have to follow Xue Yan all the time because they were together almost every day..
