 Chapter 1 - Excerpt

    The sound of intense love making resonated in the beige themed room, the sound of skin slapping, the primal groan of a male and the shrill moans of a woman filled the room as they reached their climax.


    Lee Ai Bao pulled Mei Ling closer looking at her intimately, she was the woman he loved and he still does if only she could see that, if only she understood that, if only she could let him , if only that thing didn''t happen, if only....... So many ifs but this was reality, it happened and now she loathed him.


    Mei Ling pushed him off immediately but he pinned her down , hurt evident in his face since that incident after he makes love to her she''d push him off like a piece of rag , today was his limit.


    " What else do you want from me Mei Ling? I love you and I do every fucking thing possible to show it why can''t you just let me in?"


    "Teach me to hate you"


    "What?"


    "After all you''ve done you want me to love you? Fine then you won,I love you but I swear with every drop of blood in me , with each strand of hair I''m going to change that love to hate....it''s a promise" she pushed him off her body dragging the sheets along with her leaving the man naked in bed as he painfully stared at her retreating figure letting out a loud curse.

 Chapter 2 - 1

    In Baiju bar and Distellery, a caramel skinned lady was sitting by the bar with two empty bottles, a half bottle and a cup of Baiju by the side.


    She put on a dark long sleeved turtle neck top with a necklace resting on it while the top was perfectly tucked into a jean short exposing her caramel thighs to the hungry and lustful eyes of men, in addition she put on a long wind breaker and sneakers while her hair was the perfect definition of a bone straight, long and dark lustrous hair with her edges curled giving her that sexy yet innocent spark.


    It''s not that she didn''t know what she was doing to men, infact she knew perfectly well but that was exactly what she hated the most.... instead of lustful gazes she wanted someone to desire her , to want to conquer her stubborn heart, to look at her with utmost needs like their world revolved around her , it didn''t matter if it were a man or woman as long as they loved her for her and not her body she was willing to switch sides......     Meanwhile, unbeknownst to her a man sitting in the corner of a VIP booth was giving her that same look she so yearned for, the look of want, desire, intrigue, and interest but she just couldn''t distinguish between them since to her all darkened gazes meant lust.


    Mei Ling hopped down from the stool after downing her last cup of Baiju , preparing to use the bathroom and then continue drinking till she got wasted and maybe even satisfy the wants of this "idiots" staring at her.


    Then her eyes fell on him and somehow her cheeks went red thankfully she wasn''t the typical hot asian with the porcelain skin , she was brown in color so she didn''t feel too embarrassed.


    She didn''t know whether it was because once she caught him staring he didn''t look away and instead satisfied his eyes with the view of her full form or the fact that he was fucking gorgeous with a button nose and nude pink lips as small as hers, broad chested, his hair combed back with some strands falling over his forehead a sign that he had run those long slender fingers through them severally.


    For the first time Mei Ling did not hate the lustful look a man gave her instead she enjoyed how her body responded to his eyes, unconsciously she bit her lips, poking her tongue and running it on her buttom lip before sucking and taking it back in , making her lips look so red you''d think she applied tomatoes.


    His eyes kept raking her body silently undressing her as he sipped his red wine not letting his gaze falter, his slacks tightened in a specific area, as his eyes met hers before gulping down the rest of his wine, maintaining his gaze and this got the expected reaction out of Mei Ling, which was unexpected as she always made sure to keep her emotions hidden.


    He got up and her eyes raked his form as he walked towards her , he stopped just half an inch in front of her totally encroaching her space not to forget the fact that he was nearly seven inches tall and she was nearly six, she swallowed and looked for how to step back , but unfortunately he had cornered her and she got lost in his eyes, THE DARK ABYSS was what she named them instantly.


    In her bid to escape his overbearing presence she nearly fell , immediately his hands wrapped round her waist and she inhaled not understanding what was wrong with the emotions she had made sure to keep in check..... No words were said but their eyes did the talking.


    Her stomach felt tight with the beautiful exhibition the butterflies in her stomach were making, he leaned down and Inhaled her scent before kissing her lightly on the lips immediately they both got addicted to each other wanting more , he once again took in her features and commented to himself " even more beautiful from up close".


    "Follow me" his husky baritone voice rang out as he let go of her and walked away she wanted to refuse but she didn''t, her mind told her no but her body did the exact opposite as she followed him to a staircase different from the one the normal people didn''t use , he watched her expression and saw she wasn''t surprised at all and gave her dressing a once over again until his eyes fell on the limited edition watch in her right hand before concluding she wasn''t ordinary.


    They got to the top most floor and he swiped a key card, she swallowed knowing what was going to happen once she went through that door, but she still went in anyway concluding that a twenty six year old woman shouldn''t be a virgin in this century.


    He took a sit on one of the chairs taking off his jacket.


    "Name?" His voice rang out again and she gawked at him finally concluding that he didn''t like to speak much words.


    "Mei Ling" she replied too and her tiny velvet voice sent shivers down his spine.


    "The furniture company??"


    "Yes.... what''s your name?"


    "Lee Ai Bao" she nodded and started feeling jealous in her heart about his pretty name......" I''m going to be straightforward miss Mei, I want to fuck you"


    "If I didn''t want that I wouldn''t follow a man I knew nothing about here would I?!"


    "Well that would have been stupid right?!" Mei nodded " After today do not look for me and I wouldn''t look for you we just want to satisfy each other that''s it"


    "Trust me when I say I''ve forgotten your name" he chuckled for the first time in a while and she smiled back not knowing what he was thinking.

 Chapter 3 - 2

    Next morning Mei Ling woke up with a splitting headache and strong muscular arms wrapped round her waist, she inhaled his scent and her eyes fell on the man that turned her into a woman last night.


    She wasn''t going to deny that she didn''t enjoy it , infact it was obvious he was an expert in it, this was the last time they were going to cross paths so she took her time to admire his features as her fingers itched to trace the outline of his face but she shook it off and gently pushed him away to sit up.


    Immediately she got up she felt pain in her thighs, essence and legs and this reminded her of his stamina last night, after making sure to take her thrice last night, her cheeks went hot from the multiple orgasms she remembered him giving her after finding out she was a virgin.

    "Before I get to work, I want the information of young Miss Mei Ling on my table" he ended the call immediately.


    "Yes....hello? hello? Mr Lee? Mr Lee?...aigoo, you devil" he glared at his phone as he continuously cursed getting up from bed to do as he was told.


    Immediately Mei Ling got down she entered her car and went straight to the Mei main mansion. Though she didn''t live there , her parents nagged her the day before to visit since she always stayed away.


    It wasn''t that Mei Ling didn''t like her parents she loved them a lot, but she always put up a strong facade in front of them and breaking down in front of them was something she didn''t want to do , so she decided to go over today that she felt better.


    Her father ,Mei shufen was also a product from bi racial marriage, his father a chinese and his mother an african american , it was the typical cliche assistant and CEO fairytale of every young girl. While Mei shufen married the heir to a jewelry line , Mei Hui.


    They knew very well that Mei Ling ,their daughter always pretended to be strong in front of them so that they wouldn''t worry but then because she wouldn''t visit or let them in, it got them worried more than necessary.


    She was dragged inside and forced to eat as she looked helplessly at her father who chuckled and urged her to obey.


    While eating , Mei shufen cleared his throat attracting the attention of both mother and daughter.


    "Mei mei!"


    "Yes?...is something wrong?"she asked worry laced in her tone.


    "Well you see, I''m already old as it is and the board are planning to kick me out since I''m out of shape......." She noisily dropped her chop sticks.


    "Don''t lie to me father....it''s because you''re not like them isn''t it?"


    "No ! No that''s not ......"she glared at him and he kept quiet.


    "Give me their names I think they need to be taught a lesson"


    "You don''t have to do that" she scoffed.


    "When did the second in command suddenly care about other people, hmm?" He blinked repeatedly obviously flustered.


    " Well you see, you can just take over right?" She smiled.


    "Fine then, it''s been long I broke someone''s fingers" if everyone was scared of Mei Ling when she got violent her parents were included and the fear was for her victims they never remained the same.


    In Hangzhou city, there were three main families, you could call them the backbone of Hangzhou and China. These families where the Lee''s, Mei''s and Chen''s. It was not the typical family with connections to underworld instead these people oversaw both the activities in the world and underworld, they weren''t the Mafia or anything.


    They had a partnership that has been running for ages, since the time of their ancestors. They had enemies but after years of establishing who was boss nobody dared to go against them because to people who knew them , they were psycho''s who loved to see people in pain.


    Each child in these three families start to train around the age of five , in the areas of intellect, psychology, self defense, torture included. You can imagine the mindset of children subjected to watching torture at such a young age.


    "They''re going to wish they never treated you bad, tell your secretary to prepare for my arrival I want nothing grand" she picked her bag and walked to her room while her mother continued scolding her father.


    Meanwhile In Lee corporations, Lee Ai Bao was staring at a file in hand and his expression was grave watching how she was bullied continuously as someone who learned carpentry, he wondered why she never used her family name to get what she wanted, then his eyes moved to her victims and they widened seeing the expression on his boss face.


    "It turns out she is the Miss Mei that never appears for the family meetings" Mr Zhang replied.


    "But her victims..... If no one knows about her how come she has victims?"


    "Those are the people that dared to bully her father or mother....she would take people bullying her but never her parents because she loves them" Lee Ai Bao nodded in understanding as he would do the same for his parents even they can be annoying 99% of the time.


    His phone rang and he said to himself Think if the devil and he shall appear as he watched the screen display the callers name, Mum, he sighed.


    "What is it?" Came his cold voice knowing that his mother would try to set him up in another blind date, most of the times he''d choose to have his fun with them and when he didn''t feel what he wanted to feel he''ll discard them but after meeting Mei Ling he sighed again, she had ruined sex for him.


    "Hey, is that how to greet your mother? You brat! I put you in my womb for nine months , is this how you treat me ? '' what is it?" Hey you''ve really grown wings.....I am your mother, I took care of you for eighteen years....."


    "The nanny did that"he replied with a bored expression though he tried to hide the smile on his face imagining the expression on his mother''s face.


    "Hey! I paid the bills ok?" She tried to keep her cool and was rewarded with a chuckle from Lee Ai Bao, while her husband beside her just shook his head sipping his tea.


    "Why did you call ?" He asked hastily wanting to get to the point and reject her offer.


    "I just wanted to call you home, is there anything wrong with a good mother asking her unfilial son to come home?" He laughed and Mr Zhang was entranced by the beauty in front of him , if he wasn''t straight he''d have totally chased Lee Ai Bao, he thought to himself then shook his head remembering how he treated women who dared to cross their limits, he could understand why Lee Ai Bao was interested in Mei Ling as she was the only woman who never clinged and searched for more and so far she didn''t make any attempt to contact him, if it were Mr Zhang too he''d totally chase her as in this family with her report she could easily pass as their daughter in law.


    "Unfilial??.... unbelievable! Don''t tell me you set up another blind date?" There was dead silence on the other end of the phone.


    " She''s really beautiful ok and she knows judo her name is pretty too, zhen haoran"


    "Bring her over, but don''t you dare leave us alone, mother this will be the last time you set up a blind date ok?"


    "You''ll court her!"she asked excitedly and her husband peered to listen to their conversation, the butler shook his head '' I guess when one is old they start acting like kids '' he thought to himself before leaving to order the maids to prepare for his arrival.


    "Of course not, I have met my woman, I''m going to let her off easy since you''d still try to give her hope, I''ll be there in thirty" he hung up and his mother glared at her phone '' this brat'' she shook her head at her husband who understood and looked pitifully at zhen haoran who was trying to gauge their reactions.


    "His on his way, he is delighted to meet you!" Zhen haoran smiled happily, if everything went well she would be a member of one of the three prestigious families she could finally deal with that wench Mei Ling.


    Back in the corporations Lee Ai Bao picked up his jacket and phone "Mr Zhang, contact Miss Mei immediately she takes over for a meeting , we''re signing a contract with them for our new hotel"


    "But sir, we''ve contacted the Zhen''s it''d be......"


    "From what I know they haven''t signed the contract have they?"he asked purposely pressuring Mr Zhang with his eyes.


    "They...they......they haven''t"he stammered.


    "Then do what I say....I''ll be back before lunch!" He walked out and Mr Zhang glared at him.


    Soon Lee Ai Bao arrived at the Lee main mansion and his mother ran out engulfing him In a hug and he chuckled as he winked at his father.


    "Son, you''ve grown so much, daddy has missed you" Lee Ai Bao rolled his eyes as his father pressed his cheeks to make his mouth into a pout.


    "My employees would faint if they see me like this" he glared at his father who chuckled.


    "No matter how old you are , you''ll always be my baby"


    "He''s my baby let go!" Madam Lee dragged him as she led him inside.


    Once they got in he was greeted with what you called the definition of a chinese beauty, white porcelain skin, long dark hair, red lips and a good figure but she looked like she got a boob job and for the first time he didn''t feel like messing around with her.


    She smiled and tried to act coy but he wasn''t having any of it.


    "Hello Ai Bao" his expression hardened as she kept glancing at her feet and batting her lashes.


    "I don''t think I know you enough to be on informal terms" her cheeks immediately turned red with embarrassment, his mother hit his hand and his father tried to conceal his laughter because truthfully he didn''t fancy Zhen haoran at all, everything about her was too fake and their family couldn''t compare with any of the prestigious families and he so badly wanted his son to marry his best friend Mei shufen''s daughter, but he had never seen her before only in pictures.


    Mei Ling was his standard daughter in law but she always avoided meetings but he has always heard about her deeds and was totally impressed with her , the Chen didn''t have daughters and even if they did he''d still want to tighten the friendship between him and Mei shufen so Mei Ling was his only candidate, anyone other than her automatically had a fault which always angered madam Lee since his Candidate was a no show.


    "I''m going to be straightforward with you Miss Zhen , I have a girlfriend and her name is Mei Ling" Their eyes widened and they exchanged glances a happy expression appeared on elder Lee''s face as he heard the name his son was his son after all.


    "What?" Zhen haoran gritted her teeth upon hearing the name she so hated spill our if his mouth and the fact that he didn''t even give her a chance before rejecting her infuriated her the more.


    "I know about your enemity with my woman and I''m watching you , you remember what she did to you five years ago if a hair on her is missing and it traces back to you something way worse will happen ok?"he smirked watching her scared expression, his woman was indeed good.


    "I''ll leave then elder Lee, madam Lee" she bowed and left immediately.


    "Which Mei Ling are you talking about? My best friends daughter?"


    "Yes!" He smiled thinking about how surprised his friend would be when he found out they were going to be inlaws.


    "But we''re not together yet!"


    "Yet you talked like she was with you and chased out my hard work" his mother pouted trying to gain his attention.


    "I know she was the one that approached you" she glared at him and hit him on his head making them laugh at her.

 Chapter 4 - 3

    Next day, Mei Ling woke up exceptionally happy as she prepared for work. She put on a short red skirt that had red flares at the hips, then a dark top tucked into the skirt , her hair was tied at the buttom bringing out her face as she did light makeup, then she put on a snake skin daffodil louboutin that added six inches to her height.


    She grabbed her things and got into her car, she was never one to like flashy cars though her mansion was filled with it she preferred less flashy cars, but today since she was the CEO she''d have to look the part.


    She arrived at the company right on time and called her father''s assistant, Mr Han yufan, she walked in and asked the secretary for the key card.


    "Hello" she smiled but the secretary eyed her and continued with her work of course workers noticed this and stayed to watch the drama.


    "Miss,I''m talking to you"she continuously hit her acrylic nails on the table.


    "Please leave the company does not entertain people like you!"


    "Ahh people like me, I see and you''re sure about that?"the secretary glared at her.


    "Are you questioning my work? Get out or i''d call the security!" She screamed trying to garner attention to embarasse her more.


    "Go ahead let''s see who they''d kick out of here" immediately she finished talking it was followed by the sound of a slap as the receptionist slapped her.


    Mei Ling laughed and this annoyed the secretary again prompting her to slap her again which she did.


    "Get out of here you black bitch, this place is not a place for you, get out!" She screamed at her and just then Mr Han yufan ran down wondering why Miss Mei hasn''t come up since.


    " Young Miss Mei, what''s the matter?" The eyes of everybody opened wide including the secretary, fear was evident in her eyes.


    " Young Miss Mei?" Mei Ling smirked.


    "What?? The surname is not for people like me?" She sneered.


    "Where you bullied? By this woman?" Mr Han yufan, the old man appeared worried as he truly cared for her and even trained her most of the time while she grew up so he saw her as the daughter he never had.


    "Yes....this woman slapped me, Twice... Tell me teacher yufan what should I do with her?" He smiled.


    "Whatever you deem fit Miss Mei!" Immediately the secretary fell on her knees and bowed down using her forehead to touch the floor.


    "Please madam...I''m sorry I''d do anything please don''t fire me, I''d do anything please" she pleaded with tears.


    "Anything??" She nodded vigorously and Mei Ling chuckled...."fine then get up"


    This surprised everyone that watched including the secretary.


    "Yes??"


    "Get the fuck up" she obeyed immediately and stood up and just like that two slaps landed on both sides of her face and some people had satisfied expression''s on their faces while some had shock.


    "Pack your things and get lost...who knows how many customers we''ve lost because of grade A idiots like you"


    "Madam" she held her leg and cried begging repeatedly.


    "Ok fine then , you''ve been demoted pack your things, who is the head cleaner?" The old woman stepped out.


    "Do you have basic receptionist qualities??"


    "Yes ma''am"she smiled.


    "No need to be so polite, hand over to this woman and resume your work as the receptionist the head will tell you how to go about your job"


    "As for you , you can leave and consider yourself jobless for the rest of your life or you can just become a cleaner , right?"


    "Yes ma''am" she Chuckled and kicked her hand off before walking away and soon she started working.


    The board had truly planned to dethrone her father so they had a board meeting, they were surprised to see his daughter stepping in and so they couldn''t do anything but support her as he was the true founder of the company and could dethrone them if he wanted.


    Once she was through her assistant informed about the meeting with Lee corporations for contract signing.


    They got the documents prepared and left as she made up her mind to leave after the contract signing.


    They were lead to the meeting room where Lee Ai Bao who has been anxiously waiting for her arrival pretended to be normal.


    She got in and her assistant helped her in taking off her jacket and sunglasses earning a glare from Lee Ai bao.


    "Hello president....." The words got stuck in her throat when her eyes fell on the man who has been in her head since they met two days ago.


    He smirked at her and she batted her lashes in embarrassment .


    "Hello president Mei!"his voice rang out and her heart started doing flips.


    "It''s nice to meet you president Lee" she nodded and was led to her seat.


    "Mr Zhang, would prepare the contract while I speak with Miss Mei in my office!" She gulped nervously thinking he misunderstood her.


    "After you Miss Mei!" He stood up and she nervously stepped out of the meeting room and he followed behind her placing his left hand on the small of her back, her body burned with need and desire.


    The employees watched as how the embarrassed lady was led to their bosses office and they watched what happened with shock immediately rounding Mr Zhang.


    "Mr Zhang who is that?" One curious employee asked.


    "Your lady boss" their eyes widened as they screamed.


    Inside the office immediately they got in he cornered her and locked the door before slamming his lips on hers

 Chapter 5 - 4

    Immediately they got in he locked the door and cornered her looking at her intensely making her body heat up and her throat run dry.


    "What are you........mmmm" as if her questioning him was the boost he needed, he sealed her lips with his forcefully passing his tongue into her mouth tasting every nook and cranny of her mouth.


    The strawberry mint taste of her lips drove him crazy and he pressed his body on hers , instead of fighting him off on how forceful and dominant he was Mei Ling found herself enjoying every bit of the kiss.


    She suddenly remembered that they were in the office so she desperately tried to push him off this prompted him to wrap his hands at the back of her thigh and lift her up, wrapping her legs round his waist while her hands were pinned with one of his hands and the other was holding her waist tightly.


    The way she tried to hold back her moans and the way they came out was doing things to every part of his body a d he felt like consuming her whole.


    Then the kiss slowed down and he let go of her lips resting his forehead against hers , his eyes moving back andforth between her eyes that were tightly shut in embarrassment and her lips that were swollen and red from his kisses.


    He chuckled watching her expression "how cute!" Her temperature went higher and the heart she successfully managed to calm minutes ago, quickened it''s beat again.


    He let go of her and helped her stand properly before holding her hand and pulling her towards the sofa and sitting across her to memorize her features and expression''s.


    "Why do I feel like you scheduled this meeting for another purpose?" She muttered not being able to keep eye contact because of the look in his eyes and the smirk on his face.


    "Smart, your hunch is right! There''s something else behind this meeting, I had to schedule it since you didn''t want to meet me"


    "I was only holding my end of the agreement!" She stated with a wronged expression.


    "Ah, so you did want to see me again?" She glared at him because he was right in fact she had been having mixed emotions after they met.


    "Of course not!..... state your business as you can see I''m a busy woman" he chuckled feeling happy staring at the woman that was messing with his emotions.


    "Fine then I''ll be straightforward, marry me!"her eyes widened.


    "What?...what did you just say?"


    "You heard me quite well Mei Ling, I want us to get married" she laughed loud thinking he was joking but when she saw his serious Expression she stopped.


    "You''re not joking!...Mr Lee you may not know this but marriage is not a joking matter at least in my family marriage is till death do us part besides why would I marry you?... we don''t even have feelings for each other"


    "I do" he stated with a serious expression and she blinked repeatedly trying to understand his expression but their was sincerity.


    "Well I don''t Mr Lee,besides this is not the proper way to court a lady"


    "Then who would you like to marry? That friend of yours Lu Yang??" He questioned and for the first time in his life he had a flustered expression on his face at her determined rejection, women begged to warm his bed and yet here she was rejecting his offer of marriage... was he ugly? ,he questioned his looks.


    "Of course not, he''s my bestfriend why would I do that??......no way, did you dig up my information?"


    "Yes, what kind of man does not know anything about his woman?" She glared at him .


    "I...Am not your woman" she replied through gritted teeth.


    "You can''t deny that Mei Ling, I want you and you''re going to have to want me too" he didn''t want to come off as forceful but all his life he got every single thing he wanted even the life of people that crossed him and for the first time he was not getting his way this pissed him off , so he could only approach other ways to get this woman.


    His statement only infuriated her the more as she did not like men who were possessive especially one that was too possessive.


    "I am not an object that you own Mr Lee, truth be told you think I''m the one because I''m different but I''ll tell you I''m not the one so stop this marriage talk "


    "I know what I want and I''m not going to stop till I get it Miss Mei" she picked up her bag.


    "It seems Mr Lee is not feeling well, send the contract I''ll review it and send it back... Good day!"


    She stood up and angrily stormed out leaving Lee Ai Bao with a darkened expression and the urge to conquer.

 Chapter 6 - 5

    Once Mei Ling stepped out she was anything but pissed, instead of hating how he seemed to want to dominant her, to own her, she was thinking of how hot he looked while laying his claim over her.


    She thought of his handsome features and the way his lips molded hers in absolute want, then her mind went to how he proposed to her and her stomach tightened in excitement.


    "You jerk" she cursed loudly and Lu Yang who was busy studying the expression of his best friend with tenderness in his eyes one that he never showed to anybody but her yet she still refused to see it.


    "Oh my...what did I do wrong?" He asked with a wronged expression it was so easy for him to pull it off since he was an actor.


    "Oh??..... sorry I''m just distracted" she smiled sweetly at him and his heart did a somersault.


    "What''s wrong you''ve been entranced since you got here??...why come over for chicken and beer if you''re not going to enjoy your time with me?" He glared at her feeling pissed that the woman he liked was distracted in his own presence.


    "Hey , relax okay?? I''m just so pissed right now" she chewed on the bone and that''s what he liked the most about her, she never acted like the first generation princess she was , instead she was herself in front of him doing what she liked and how she liked it, infact he thought she was the cutest right now.


    "Who dared made my lady pissed off??" He questioned pretending to want to hit whoever that person was like they were there.


    "So this man I had a one night stand with........" His eyes widened in shock and he screamed.


    "You had sex??, When? With who? How come?" He questioned in a rush pissed that he probably missed his chance with her.


    "Two days ago, I got so drunk and there he was in his handsome glory staring at me, he was so handsome then he came to me and held my waist when I almost fell inhaling my scent he sealed my lips and soon his voice rang out "follow me" she squealed thinking about it as she blushed profusely and held her face hitting her head on the chair, not noticing the darkened expression on the face of the man besides her.


    "That''s cool!" He said coldly but she misunderstood.


    "Hey no need to be overprotective ok? It was a one night stand but then who knew I''d meet him again today?"


    "You ran into him? Where?" He asked suddenly curious to know if he was losing her.


    "Ran into him my ass the idiot made sure we met again under the pretense of signing a contract with his company to supply furniture!" She smiled remembering him.


    "Ahh ahh, that''s cool then what happened?" Mei Ling kept rambling not noticing how Lu yang''s expression darkened by the minute.


    "He did the kabe-don and kissed me hard then he asked me to marry him" Lu Yang spat out his drink and stared at her.


    "That jerk! Is this some fairytale to him? How could he what''s his name i need to visit?" His face was flushed from anger .


    "Lee Ai Bao!" As the words tumbled out of her lips his breathing seized before he burst out laughing.


    "Ayy you liar ,you had me there good one" he kept laughing and she wondered what was so funny.


    "Why are you laughing?" She blinked flustered that she was labeled a liar.


    "Your joke was so funny, I mean Lee Ai Bao, impossible" he chuckled finally coming down from his high.


    "I wasn''t joking I''m serious you do know we''d have married though remember our so called prestigious families" at the mention of that he stopped laughing.

    "Hey prepare noodles I''m going to change" he smiled knowing she''d change into his clothes.

    "What else?? Your clothes of course course, what kind of question is that?" She let out a string of incoherent curses as she walked over to his room and he smiled at her disappearing figure.


    Soon she stepped out in his shirt and boxers but the shirt was too big for her five foot form so it covered the boxers only showing the rims.


    He swallowed as his eyes took in her appearance but that was not the only thing that noticed her as he was standing tall and proud in his shorts.


    "Hey you do know you''re in a man''s house Right?" His face was already red from trying to hold it in.


    "Really?? Who??" She teased and they laughed.


    "I''ll go take my bath you eat your food ok?" She nodded and sat down before he quickly left to relieve himself.


    Mei Ling was scared each time she watched scary movies but then those were her favorites and Lu Yang had to watch them with her as he was ready to do anything that made her happy.


    Also if watching scary movies meant that he could hold her he didn''t mind at all , right now she was in between his legs eating popcorn though his legs were spread by her sides his hands wrapped round her waist.

    Just then the door bell rang and Lu Yang took it as his cue to leave her, he stood up and ran his fingers through his hair before letting out a long sigh, he wasn''t going to give up.


    "Who is there?" He opened the door and in front of him stood a brooding Lee Ai Bao, Lu yang''s eyes widened as he unconsciously stepped back.


    "What the fuck!" He screamed and Mei Ling hearing the scream grabbed her gun running towards him when she saw Lee Ai Bao.


    "Oh my" her gun dropped and Lee Ai Bao scrutinized her dressing then Lu yang''s before glaring at both of them.


    Mei Ling didn''t know why but she felt guilty as if she cheated on Lee Ai Bao.


    "What are you doing here?? How did you find me here?" She started moving back as he stalked towards her.

 Chapter 7 - 6

    "How are you here??, Did you follow me? That is stalking you know right?? I could report you!


    ....stop coming closer" she kept moving away as his stance became threatening.


    "Whose clothe is that? Why are you here? By this time huh?" He questioned as he finally grabbed her wrist and pulled her impossibly close this made Lu Yang snap out of his daze.


    "Hey let go, what''s wrong with you?? Let .......mmm" he kissed her hard while biting pulling and tugging at her lips and somehow Mei Ling didn''t object as she felt like she was being punished.


    "What the hell do you think you''re doing?" Lu Yang dragged him off and instantly shivered at the bone piercing glare Lee Ai Bao sent him.


    "Get your things we''re leaving!" He ordered Mei Ling who instantly obeyed as the situation was already awkward.


    "Hey who do you think you''re to come into my house and order my friend around?"


    "I''m her man Lee Ai Bao" he proudly and shamelessly announced, Lu Yang glared at him and they entered a glaring contest.


    "I''m going to advice you Mr Yang to look for another woman because I am not going to ever let her go , NEVER" just at that time Mei Ling arrived in her own clothes with her things in hand, this clearly annoyed Lu yang.


    "Hey Mei Mei what the fuck are you doing?"


    "It''s better to leave I''ll call you okay?" She anxiously said trying to take them out because she knew that for Lu Yang not to have hit Ai Bao it was a miracle and with the smirk on Ai Bao face it was clear he was testing his patience.


    Lu yang was the big brother Mei Ling never had as he always stood and fought for her, any time boys wanted to court her , he''d be the one to fight them off while she sat and enjoyed the show, also when '' that person '' hurt her he was there for her and didn''t forget to break his nose for life.


    "Loser!" Ai Bao scoffed and dragged Mei Ling away, immediately the door closed Lu Yang grabbed the beer bottle on the table gulping it before angrily throwing it on the floor as it scattered.


    Lee Ai Bao kept dragging her without saying a word while Mei Ling hopelessly looked like a kid that was being scolded, all the way to the main mansion the drive was silent and Mei Ling was dying in suspense.


    Since it was past midnight his parents were asleep so taking her inside and straight to his room was not a problem.


    He pushed her to the bed and started pacing around angrily, she shivered each time he glared at her and kept asking herself why am I acting like I sinned? He should be the one scolded for following me around.


    "Hey what gives you the right to follow me around? Who knew you were a potential stalker?" She angrily stood up and glared at him , her glare immediately dissolved when he glared at her.


    "What the fuck where you doing dressed like that in a man''s house? By past midnight, huh?? Are you asking for a death wish, hmm??" He asked clearly pissed and jealous not bothering to hide how he felt.


    Her gaze softened seeing that his intentions weren''t bad but still it wasn''t right to stalk her just because he claimed to have feelings for her.


    "But still you don''t have to stalk me that is just not right and it''ll make me run away from you" she scolded.


    "I didn''t stalk you, it''s your bodyguards that informed me about how you went into an apartment and refused to step out" he glared at her and the walls round her heart shattered.


    "Why do you have your guards tailing me?" He scoffed still angry at her.


    "What kind of man would I be if my woman is not protected in my absence?" She gritted her teeth.


    "How many times do I have to tell you that I am not your woman?!" She snapped and he walked towards her , her chest felt like it was going to explode at how close he was.


    "I dare you to say that again" he stared into her eyes his intentions as clear as the sky.


    "Ai Bao....." He inhaled sharply as this was the first time she called his name informally and it sent tingles down his spine.


    "Say my name again!" He demanded waiting for her to repeat it, her look turned to that of bewilderment as she glared at him.

    "I won''t until you say my name again" he teased and got the reaction he wanted out of her as she nearly pulled her hair in frustration....."you are the cutest" she looked into his eyes stunned by his sudden confession, the tenderness in his eyes made her heart yearn for him.


    "That''s not the point.....you see the point is this is not how to court a lady, if you come off as forceful she definitely won''t like you and become scared of you as she''ll view you as a monster got it??" He gave an understanding nod.


    " So how do you want me to Court you?" He asked pulling her in, she stopped breathing as he squeezed her waist roaming his hands round her body , she internally sighed taking it that he''d never listen to her.


    "You''re a man how should I know, let go okay?" She struggled to push him off but that only urged him to pull her impossibly close.


    "Fine then I''ll court you the right way but I''m going to tell you that I hate sharing and I don''t like seeing my woman around any man that is not me, So for this night allow me to cross boundaries because I really can''t hold it in" she blinked trying to understand what he meant but before she could think further , he kissed her hard in the lips , taking his sweet time to memorize each part of lips and how she tasted .


    He moved down her neck sucking and licking making sure to mark his territory, with how he was manoeuvring round her body like he knew it like the back of his hand made her unable to hold back her moan, immediately wrapping her legs round his waist.


    Unknowingly to them they were being misunderstood by the blushing and embarrassed elders outside, who were informed by the terrified butler yang when the young master dragged a young lady in.

    Next morning Lee Ai Bao woke up first and smiled like a fool seeing his woman tangled in the sheets with him, her legs in-between his and her hands were sprawled across his waist, her dark hair was a cute mess on her head and when he inhaled her his smile broadened because she was smelling like him as she had bathed with his soap last night and put on his own clothes because he wanted her to.


    He sighed happily, mumbling to himself"I could wake up to this every morning till I die", just then the eyes of the beauty beside him fluttered open.


    Mei Ling woke up and was shocked to see the cause of her wet dreams right in her face so she screamed loud scooting away , of course this made Ai Bao frown as his source of warmth disappeared.


    She looked around and processed how she ended there till her eyes fell on the mirror to see the hair nest in her head, she immediately arranged it while doing that she didn''t notice the gloomy expression on the face of the man beside her.


    He pulled her to himself and she yelped when he laid her flat on the bed hovering over her.


    She swallowed when she felt his morning erection against her, he smiled.


    "Why are you smiling like that? It''s scary!"


    "It''s a good thing you know I''m up to no good.... what kind of woman wakes up and does not greet her man?" She gulped nervously as cold sweat formed on her head.


    "You see....this is not how you court a lady, you promised" he smiled.


    "Fool, I said I was going to court you but that didn''t mean I''d keep my hands off you that''s simply impossible......what kind of man would I be if I don''t adore my woman''s body?" She chuckled nervously when he moved closer to kiss her.


    "Morning breathe!" He smirked and still kissed her pressing his body against hers.


    Suddenly the door opened and a shriek followed. Mei Ling who heard the shriek pushed Ai Bao off as he fell on the floor and groaned loudly.


    Mei Ling sat up to see two elders by the door a man and a woman, the woman''s cheek''s were tainted with red and the elder had a naughty look directed to the man on the floor that was shooting daggers at the two elders.


    Mei Ling shot up from the bed in embarrassment and bowed to the elders in respect too ashamed to speak. Madam Lee ran to her and hugged her.


    "Ayy so pretty, Mei Ling isn''t it?" If Mei Ling said she wasn''t shocked at how nice and welcoming they were, did they not see her skin color?


    Madam Lee seemed to understand her look " we don''t care anything about race you''re a human being after all besides if we discriminate here there are other places that we''ll get discriminated....such a stupid cycle plus if we discriminate we wouldn''t be where we are right??" Mei Ling chuckled and tried to hold back her emotions remembering how that person''s parents treated yet she still.......


    "Good morning madam Lee, elder Lee" she bowed again.


    "Stop glaring at me, you had her to yourself last night and other days today she''s going to be mine to keep" Ai Bao anxiously stood up dragging her hand completely forgetting about elder Lee who was in his own world studying the woman in his sons clothes.


    She was the spitting image of her mother and his friend, he was busy devising ways to make sure she stayed in the family.


    "You like mapo tofu right?? Western or chinese breakfast??our cook is really good, you''re so thin when you''re through with work always come for dinner then lunch and breakfast ok?? How are you going to give birth to twins with such a fragile body hmm?? Is my son bullying you?? You see men in our family are really hard to satisfy sexually he keeps asking for more right?? If he''s bullying you don''t hesitate to meet me I''ll help you chop off his balls ok? But still you need to eat?? How is Tang........"


    "Mother" Ai bao glared at his talkative mother and grabbed Mei Ling pulling her to himself while growling at the person that dared share his woman''s attention.


    "Just like my son, possessive like me.....in those days that''s how I won his mother''s heart, they like it when we are possessive, overly possessive" he concluded with a big grin and Ai bao gave his father a proud look while shooting Mei Ling a side look as she blushed because elder lee wasn''t lying.


    "We''re going to bathe now so you can leave ok?"he gave them an overbearing smile giving his father a signal to drag his talkative wife away.


    Immediately they left Mei Ling tried to escape his claws as before they left his hands were already roaming her body as if searching for something.


    The evil glint in his eyes only made her nervous as he pulled her back and kissed her roughly, before lifting her up and moving to the bathroom

 Chapter 9 - 8

    He dropped her in the bathroom not letting go of her lips, his hands fumbled at the hem of the shirt she was wearing till he finally pulled it off, her hands flew to cover herself and he chuckled.


    "What do you think you''re doing?" She asked flustered.


    "Don''t forget how we met" she glared at him.


    "Fuck off"she hit him and started pushing him out but the giant wouldn''t budge.


    "If I wanted to do that I''d have started last night and you wouldn''t stop me that is me courting you" he teased further and her cheeks heated up as the scene of them making love and trying to be quiet about it played in her head.


    "Get the fuck out" she screamed too embarrassed to think straight while he laughed loud.


    "Such a beautiful mouth shouldn''t speak such foul words" he ran his thumb on her lower lip and she stared into his eyes watching how his look turned from playful to intense and she forgot everything just staring into his eyes.


    Her chest tingled as he looked like his world revolved around her, then the thought that she may not be able to give him exactly what he wanted, she could try but trying wouldn''t go far. She looked down and he seemed to understand her thoughts, holding her chin he made her look back at him.


    "It doesn''t matter what you went through you''re still going to be the woman I like"


    "It''s just what if I can''t give you what you want, I don''t think I can dedicate to anybody right now or ever" he smiled.


    "I''d wait, that''s the kind of man you captured" they chuckled and he pecked her lips before she pushed him off.


    " Hey you claim to like me what do you like about me we met just three days ago...you fraud* she eyed him and moved to brush her teeth when he came behind her, wrapping his hands round her waist kissing and both her hair and neck.


    She looked at him through the mirror and her hands itched to move them to the back.


    "I like everything I know about you and everything I don''t know about you, you''re always going to be my Mei Ling" she chuckled and he smiled kissing her bare neck again.


    He left and she took her bath, when she stepped out clothes, make up and shoes were laid out in racks and on the bed as if asking her to pick one of her choice.


    She picked a qibao and was searching for shoes when she noticed they were all her favorite Brand''s of shoes after putting two and two together she realized that he investigated her and she glared at his imaginary form at the door.


    After getting dressed she walked out and madam Lee who was excited to know her son was not frigid and was infact interested in a woman attacked her and made her eat as much as possible meanwhile she sent silent pleas to Ai Bao but he seemed to be enjoying her state as his face was plastered with a stupid grin.


    Later she drove to work thinking of how to call Lu Yang and what to tell him, when her secretary knocked.


    "Young Miss, there''s a man outside by the name Lu Yang asking to see you!" Immediately Mei Ling looked up to meet her blushing secretary.


    "Send him in...wait is there anything out of place in my dressing any noticable mark?" Mei Ling noticed how the expression of the secretary changed and she chuckled.


    "Relax he''s my best friend" the secretary chuckled embarrassed and bowed before leaving, Mei Ling offered a short prayer nervously and as soon as she finished the door flung open and closed with a loud bang.


    She shot up and smiled nervously at Lu Yang walking up to him but he maintained his glare.


    "Hello Lu Yang, I missed you so much why are you here?" Her voice was no longer firm but was warm and soft as she tried to be cute hugging him tight and rubbing her cheeks on his chest the heels she wore boosted her height if not, on a normal basis she wouldn''t have been that tall.


    Lu yang looked at the little woman nuzzling against his chest and his heart warmed up while he tried hard to not smile she was fond of doing this and getting away with everything.


    "Hey get off me" he growled warningly but instead she hugged him harder and he smiled since she couldn''t see him anyway.


    "Ahh why? Don''t be mad at me ok? I''ll cook my famous pasta,hmm?" She looked at him with her small eyes in contrast to the normal chinese woman with doe-yy eyes , he cursed under his breathe as she made the best pasta he ever tasted.


    She may be a bad cook but she did know how to cook a good pasta.


    "Oh please we all know that your cooking is only famous because it tastes worse than my shit"she pushed him off and glared at him while he chuckled.


    "Nice place you got here" he complimented as he looked around" she smiled.


    "Every thing I touch automatically becomes great this is not nice it is great" he eyed her and she gave him a cheeky smile.


    "I''m hungry order something" she wanted to detest when he gave her a warning glare and she smiled before ordering her secretary to get lunch.


    While they were eating they noticed the commotion outside and got up to see what was wrong when the door flew open and there he stood in all his glory glaring daggers at the man beside her.


    "What are you doing with my wife?" He questioned and Mei Ling shivered glad that she wasn''t the center of his focus and just then she realized she spoke too fast as his gaze settled on her...........

 Chapter 10 - 9

    "What are you doing with my wife?" Mei Ling''s heart thudded rapidly in her chest and she calmed down when she noticed his glare was directed at her bestfriend but just as if he knew what she was thinking his gaze fell on her and he scowled.


    The secretary who had followed behind worriedly as the imposing man acted like no one was there and just walked past her, only to hear him spit out that young Miss Mei was his wife, she turned to see her bosses expression but was shocked to see that she didn''t rebutt and instead looked like a child they were scolding for eating candies secretly.


    "Why are you here?...........all of a sudden"she trailed off and kept shut when she noticed his expression go a thousand shades darker.


    "Why? So you can be with him?" She opened her mouth but nothing came as she didn''t know how to reply such a jealous man..


    "Of course, who else will she be with?" This reply came from the stupid man beside her she glared at him and it nearly dissolved when she thought he looked like he was jealous, she immediately shook it off.


    He always had her attention so it was understandable when someone else was dragging that attention with him especially when that someone was annoyingly overbearing and dominant.


    "Hey, you can''t just waltz into my office like it''s yours" the monster walked towards the sofa and sat down with crossed legs like she did not just speak.


    "We are one whatsoever you have belongs to me and whatsoever I have belongs to you..... EVERYTHING"he smirked when she seemed to understand the double meaning of the enunciated everything.


    He waved his hands and the guards that were by the door moved as if hypnotized and cleared the food on the table.


    Lu yang was just so mad at the man that came to disrupt the heart of his woman, she was supposed to be his but this man just kept ruining everything.


    "I''m leaving" he announced but Mei Ling was busy glaring at the man and scolding him for ruining lunch with her bestfriend but the man seemed to hear his announcement and smiled gesturing him to walk out the door.


    He glared poisonously at him and left looking at the woman in his heart before leaving.


    "Hey I was busy eating you can''t just take my food away I haven''t even taken more than two spoon.....hey get your butt off my couch!" She yelled when he just kept smiling at her like she was performing comedy.


    She angrily stormed towards him fed up with how he was smiling at her making her seem like a fool , so she took his hand more like he let her and she started dragging him he kept chuckling at the expression of the little woman who tried to get him off the couch but the highest she could achieve was make him move a little then with just a rug she fell into his laps , he widened his legs so that she could be in between his legs.


    "I seriously don''t like you being with him" she glared at him struggling to get up.


    "He''s my friend....my bestfriend and brother suck it up" he held her tighter and rested back on the chair dragging her along.


    "But he likes you...and I do not share" he gritted his teeth and she released a long line of curses in italian.

    Mei Ling felt muddleheaded as he did what he wanted with her lips biting her hard to get her to respond and she did just that. A metallic taste hit her taste buds and she knew he drew blood as he kept soothing and sucking on the part that was bleeding


    The office kept resounding her moans and sighs , sometimes she was unresponsive as she couldn''t breathe and felt that he was too fast for her to keep up.


    He finally stopped when he felt that the woman beside him was about to faint, he looked her in the eyes and his expression darkened seeing the innocent and confused look on her face.


    She kept panting like an asthmatic patient and didn''t even have the strength to glare at the man who literally took her breath away.


    He smiled" I love seeing this look on your face" she eyed him and looked away trying to hide to goofy grin threatening to break out.


    His hands ventured behind her thighs and then back before lifting her up and standing, her head snapped towards him .


    "What do you think you''re doing?" She asked and he smiled.


    " Let''s go for lunch, you didn''t eat properly right? I''m hungry too, so let''s go" he started moving and her legs shook.


    "Hey put me down , I can walk there we''ll eat ok? Just put me down" she begged frantically knowing that being stubborn with this man at moments like this would be utterly useless.


    "This is your punishment, choose between me kissing you I''m the reception and me carrying you down" she was speechless what kind of man was this.


    "Please......"he smiled and pecked her chest, she instantly went hot and snuggled into his chest hiding her face to lessen the embarrassment, his heart warmed up seeing her take refuge in him even though she was forced to that state.


    He knew that soon she''d willingly do it so he was going to wait, the secretary''s eyes nearly popped out seeing the scene before her and the others followed suit.


    Wasn''t this the legendary Lee Ai Bao and their boss?

    Zhen haoran woke up that morning with a sudden determination, she was going to get Lee Ai Bao no matter what, she couldn''t loose to Mei Ling NEVER , besides to her she was a product of different races so madam Lee will definitely not accept her as her grand-daughter in law.

    She walked to the elevator which made people raise brows at her, getting to his floor she walked to the secretary who was currently conversing with Mr Zhang, Lee Ai bao''s assistant.


    "Good day Mr Zhang" she greeted cheerfully with a smile, it was well known that the ladies Ai Bao used to '' relieve '' himself were all chosen by his assistant so all she had to do was be on his good side , if she could get in his bed she could tie him down with marriage one way or another.


    After all the witch Mei Ling was virgin mary that''s why............ Mr Zhang turned to her and frowned wondering why this woman was here.

    They each took turns in bathing each other so when they were finished she prepared breakfast.


    "Wow....this tastes so good where did you learn to cook like this?" He questioned stuffing his mouth with food.


    She found him really cute and stupid when he ate like that so she just kept watching him.


    "I learned from the cook in the Mei mansion?"


    "Madam Mei let you??" He asked shock written in his face it was really rare to see an heiress that cooks talk less one from a prestigious family.


    "Of course not I just disobeyed her , what good is a woman that can''t take care of her man?... that''s how many lose their homes, the maid always takes care of the master and children while the woman is busy shopping and taking care of her skin then one day he decides to fuck the maid that''s the end" he smiled at her , he sure knew how to pick his women very well.


    "You sound like you have a personal grudge?" He narrowed his eyes.


    "Lu yang, now the maid lives like she runs the place" his face turned sour when he heard his name and she noticed his glare this made her chuckle.


    "Can you just cut it out,ok? He''s my best friend and that''s all it''s normal that I''m holding a grudge for him that''s how friendships work" she concluded with a sip of her juice.


    The image of how she sat with him and how something kept poking her back flashed in her mind but she shook it off, that wasn''t possible or was it?


    It looked like she would have to speak with him today, just then they heard the door open, reflexively they both stood up pointing their guns in the direction of the noise.

    The sound of the door opening and closing interrupted Mei Ling''s train of thoughts, exchanging a look they stood up and grabbed their guns , Ai Bao pushed Mei Ling behind him and even though it was the wrong time to have such feelings, Mei Ling''s heart felt warm even in danger he was ready to go in her stead.


    They were carefully moving towards the noise when the person appeared in front of theme.


    "Oh my...put down the fucking gun, you scared me" they dropped the gun immediately and Mei Ling forgetting she was on heels ran this didn''t go down well with Lee Ai Bao as he felt she was hurting her feet.


    "Mother, father how did you....." She glared at her mother who was busy eyeing Ai Bao, her protective side threatening to come out.


    "I''m your father of course I know your passcode"


    "What part of privacy don''t you understand?" She collected the boxes the servants held moving to the table.


    "Oh my is this not that old fucks son...umm.. Lee Ai Bao?" Mei Ling glared at how he described elder Lee but Ai Bao chuckled.


    "Yes... good morning father, morning mother" he bowed but madam Lee looked away snobbishly and walked towards Mei Ling who was glaring at her for her behavior.


    "What did he do to you? did he touch you?"


    "Mother!" She scolded, elder Lee glared at her.


    "Why? Hey you what did you do to my daughter? If I find out she''s not a virgin you''re dead!" Ai Bao''s heart nearly flew out when he heard that statement same with Mei Ling.


    "I''ll take responsibility"he bowed immediately he wasn''t going to lose Mei Ling, NO WAY.


    Madam Mei was flustered and so was elder Mei.


    "Hey so you......"


    "Yes that''s how we met, I couldn''t control myself when I saw her so I had to" Elder Mei glared at the impudent young man in front of him he was just like his father......Bold.


    Mei Ling''s face was burning in shame as her mother gave her a knowing smirk but what they didn''t know was that Ai Bao was being shameless on purpose.


    "Can you be less shameless? You''re telling me that you fucked my daughter!" Elder Mei kept glaring at him, I mean how dare he.


    "We made love we didn''t fuck" elder Mei was boiling hot at this point, he took his statement back This boy was more shameless than his father!


    "Hey...come here" he commanded and like an obedient child he walked towards elder Mei with a straight face like he didn''t do a thing.


    As soon as he got to elder Mei his ears were grabbed and twisted, immediately the women ran to separate them meanwhile Lee Ai Bao stood like nothing was happening but looking at his face you''d know he was in great pain.


    "Father let go!....let go or I''ll kick you out" that did the trick because this was not the first time she had threatened to kick them out.


    On one occasion when they were shamelessly trying to pair her and Lu Yang together, she had them thrown out of her house then she grounded them in the Mei mansion preventing them from going out since then they stopped.


    It''s not that they had to listen to her or they were foolish parents whom their daughter had power on, Instead it was the love they had for her, they knew she was hurting in several ways and she wouldn''t let them know so when they had a chance to shower her with attention they did so even if it meant being locked up.


    "Hey don''t you shamelessly talk about doing that with my daughter or else you really won''t get married" Ai Bao''s eyes widened and he apologized this plastered a victorious smirk on Elder Mei''s face.


    But it disappeared as soon as it came when his gaze met Mei Ling''s glare.


    "Set up a meeting with my friend let''s discuss the wedding" he commanded still trying to act superior in front of Mei Ling.


    "What wedding? We''re not even dating" she replied side eyeing her father and mother.


    "Yet you did that! Hey you punk, are you taking responsibility or not?" Lee Ai Bao smiled, guess she was in his claws now if the elders were involved then she was never going anywhere, but Mei Ling was in a panicked state they were moving too fast, wasn''t it her marriage?


    "Who gets married because of sex?" Both elders scoffed and ignored her as they pulled Ai Bao along making plans for her own wedding.


    Lee Ai Bao had a cheeky grin on his face , he didn''t have to worry about pleasing the elders in fact they loved him and Instead of setting them up on dates they were making wedding arrangements.


    Soon the elders left after concluding to meet on Saturday which was three days from that day, Lee Ai Bao escorted them while Mei Ling feigned anger at them but they ignored her which made her sulk, Lee Ai Bao was just a thief.


    First he stole her breath, then her brain making her seem stupid everytime he was around, then he stole her heart and now her parents, talk about a thief.


    Lee Ai Bao came back and was met with Mei Ling''s glare, he chuckled and kissed her she pushed him away.


    "Thief" she mumbled and he chuckled understanding the words she left unspoken.


    "We''re bosses but that doesn''t mean we should be late to work pick up your bag I''ll drop you"


    "Then how would I get back?" She questioned arching her drawn out brows.


    "I''ll pick you up, also by lunch time I''m picking you up we''d eat and go shopping I don''t like your clothes" she scoffed.


    "Deal with it" he glared at her and she grabbed her purse walking out.


    "Aren''t you coming?" He smiled and followed after her with his suitcase.


    Mei Ling nearly jumped in fear when a burly man in a suit ran forward and took her bag, Lee Ai Bao couldn''t hold back his laughter at her reaction so it came all out.


    "Hey!" He smiled silently chuckling, the tattoo on his hand was enough proof that he was one of his men.


    As the couple left what they didn''t know or what they subconsciously knew was that two people were watching them but each for different reasons.

 Chapter 18 - 17

    Mei Ling happily skipped to the office although this didn''t surprise the workers as she was always having a cheerful attitude while sometimes she could be bitchy and for the past two weeks they had learnt how to behave around her.


    Everyone knew that her actions could sometimes be unpredictable and they saw her as a psychopath, a really really hot psychopath.


    Immediately she entered the office she happily skipped to her table even though she was in heels, having a man care about you, showing his care, and even making sure to be part of every segment of your life was exciting for Mei Ling as this was the first time she felt such.


    Turning on the lights Mei Ling''s heart flew out if her chest when she caught sight of Lu yang sitting by her table glaring hard at her.


    "Fuck you witch! You scared me!" She screamed launching at him but he escaped and held her hand glaring at her.


    "What is wrong with you? Why didn''t you pick your phone? Are you avoiding me now? Don''t tell me you actually like that guy?" She had a stupefied Expression on her face and was too stunned to reply as Lu Yang had never been that mad at her before and if he was he never showed it.


    "It hurts" instead he held her tighter and this got her scared.


    "You''re hurting me Lu Yang" she replied, each minute he was getting scarier ,this was not the man she knew.


    "You like him don''t you?" He questioned not minding her words he wanted clarification.


    "You''re hurting me Lu Yang!" Her voice was filled with anxiousness and fear as he tightened his grip and pulled her closer , this closeness was definitely not friendly.


    She realized if she didn''t reply he''d keep holding her that way " I like him a lot please stop it you''re hurting me" .


    He chuckled and by the look on his face it was obvious that he was pained , he let go of her hand and grabbed her waist holding her flushed against himself.


    "What are you doing?" She asked anxiously trying to pull away this was not how he held infact he never held her this way, Lee Ai Bao''s words rang in her head.


    "You never saw it? Wasn''t I obvious enough? What exactly do you think of me Mei Ling a piece of wall?" She swallowed goosebumps appearing on her neck and arms.


    "Please let''s talk this out , you''re hurting me physically Lu Yang"


    "Don''t fucking call me that!" He yelled...."don''t you know what happens when you call a man like that? Huh?".


    "I''m sorry please just listen me, let me how I beg you, we can talk this out!" By this time Mei Ling was already trembling I''m fear , he was never this way before how did she not notice this side of him.


    "Can''t you give me a chance? Just once? Please if I mess up end everything with me just give me a chance I beg you, I need you Mei Ling can''t you just do this for me"


    "Lu yang please just let go and we''ll talk please, just....."


    He forcefully claimed her lips that''s when she tasted alcohol on his lips suddenly she felt relieved, so he had mistaken her for the woman he liked.


    Seeing that he was relaxing she slowly pulled him off and looked at him, relief evident on her face .


    "I understand how you feel about this woman but getting yourself drunk isn''t going to help you, ok?.. infact tomorrow you''re bringing me to this woman she needs a good beating" he kept murmuring and then he spoke up when she kept him by the sofa.


    "I love you, so much!" He slurred before falling asleep.


    Mei Ling felt her heart race because for some reason she felt like those words were directed to her then she shook it off.


    That was not possible they promised no feelings and if anyone among them was good at keeping promises it was Lu Yang while she kept breaking promises one after the other, that was how their relationship was.

 Chapter 19 - 18

    Few hours later, Lu Yang woke up with a splitting headache and images of what had transpired earlier flashed in his head.


    His heart squeezed when he remembered the fear in her eyes at his touch, he so much disliked that.


    Sitting up he glanced at the woman by the desk working tirelessly even with glasses she looked stunning, his eyes fell on the blanket she had used to cover him and he smiled painfully, wishing she can care for him with an ulterior motive.


    Walking up to her he went round and gave her a back hug startling Mei Ling.


    "Thank you"he kissed her neck and this made Mei Ling jittery, he had kissed her neck multiple times before he had even kissed her on the lips whenever they went clubbing and a man kept insisting on being with her but now it felt different.


    She knew he mistook her for the woman he liked but now that he had kissed her and the way he looked at her she felt like it was her but she wanted to believe it wasn''t.


    Forcing a smile she looked at him " it''s okay, what are friends for?" Then she scrunched her nose upwards "you reek move away" he chuckled and kissed her cheek.


    "I''ll be going now okay?" She nodded.


    "Don''t overwork yourself and eat well ok?" She nodded it seems she was wrong it wasn''t her he liked , that''s a relief.


    "Lu yang!" He put on his sweater and looked at her while adjusting his hair.


    "Hmm?"he mumbled puckering his lips.


    "That woman you like......can I meet her?" She tested him and he saw right through.


    "Of course pick up a date" he smiled at her and she smiled back, thoughts hiding behind that smile.


    "Bye make sure you rest up before going to set , if the director is giving you issues tell me, alright?" He chuckled.


    "Bye, I''ll text you!" She nodded and shooed him off before he finally left.


    Once the door closed she released a breath she didn''t know she was holding, looking at her wrists they were slightly pink as they hurt from his hold on her, sighing again she glanced at the clock, Lee Ai Bao would be there soon it was a good thing Lu Yang woke up before then.


    Right on cue the door opened and Ai Bao walked in with a smile on his face like he did not just postpone a crucial meeting to have lunch with her.


    "You''re here!" He nodded and she smiled standing up with her purse he pulled her by the waist and kissed her letting out a sigh, he had been anticipating that since he left her.


    "Let''s go...I missed you" he said gazing at her lovingly, she smiled at him.


    "I know" he chuckled as he had already anticipated that reply, pulling her hand he was about to drag her along when she winced it was subtle and no one would notice but this was him, he noticed every little thing about her.


    "What''s wrong?" In a panicked state she withdrew her hand in an attempt to hide it as the marks were still visible but he caught it in time , she was wriggling but he held her still it was strong but somehow it didn''t hurt her.


    "Who did this? How did this happen? Answer me!" He barked obviously pissed that she was trying to protect whoever this was.


    "It ... its...it''s nothing I fell down the stairs" one thing about Mei Ling was that she was terrible at lying and sometimes even when the lie seemed believable you could easily see through.


    "So you''re telling me you fell down the steps and instead of your palm to get hurt or feet it''s your wrist that got hurt instead?" He asked mockery lacing his tone.


    "Well...you see... that''s not....well when I fell it got caught in the railings so when I pulled it out it became like this" she stammered finding out to even believe her own lies.


    He scoffed"what do you take me for Mei Ling? A fool?" She shook her head.


    "I didn''t say that" she replied hurriedly.


    "But that''s what those lies mean, forget it....." Pulling out his phone he called Mr Zhang " I need all video recordings of the people that went in and out of Mei Ling''s office and every single place her feet stepped into , starting with her office check for someone that grabbed her wrist, I give you thirty minutes" this got Mei Ling anxious of course it was an office there was CCTV in every office including hers.


    Infact hers had in every corner as there were important files kept there what if he did find it, he definitely wouldn''t let her inform the IT team to quickly delete she could only hope that she had the best team and no one would be able to hack into it.


    She anxiously chewed on her lips praying within that he couldn''t find it , but to her misfortune his phone rang in exactly three minutes , she tried to grab the phone but he saw through and held her waist even if she struggled she wouldn''t be able to leave.


    "Send it to my office I''ll check it out when I''m back" he ended the call and entwined his hands with hers walking out the door.


    The drive was silent to and fro, dinner included, as Lee Ai Bao was so pissed that she tried to protect the person who did that to her, there was only three people he knew she''d protect that much and her parents were out if it leaving Lu yang.


    He just hoped it wasn''t because God helping him..... His kiss was brief and this had Mei Ling worried.


    Without a word he left her and zoomed off to the office, it seemed she still underestimated his love for her.


    The employees felt chills down their back when Lee Ai Bao returned to the office with such a wicked expression, he oozed of blood thirst and this made the employees stay away, who had pissed him off this much?? Wasn''t he so happy when he left? The suspect was clearly their lady boss but what happened?


    Getting into his office, he didn''t waste time to play the video and his expression changed when he saw what had happened, this woman knew how to test his patience so well.

 Chapter 20 - 19

    Lee Ai Bao continuously glared at the screen, this Lu Yang had actually dared to hold and kiss his woman! She was currently driving him crazy and this had to happen.


    "Track down Lu Yang, I want his schedule and movement plan before the closing of the day"


    "Yes sir!" The man disappeared to do as he was told.


    He had planned out how he was going to tease her so much , how she''d look while he teased her, he imagined what she''d look like stuffing her face with food because he was going to take her to her favorite restaurant, but this man had to ruin everything.


    Mei Ling couldn''t concentrate as she had an unsettling feeling in her stomach, picking up her phone she called Lu Yang.


    "I just left missing me already?" She rolled her eyes,this was not the time to tease each other.


    "Are you okay?" He sensed the worry in her tone and he frowned waving his hand so that his assistant and make up artist would leave.


    "Yes, is something wrong?"


    "Is there anything suspicious around you?" He looked around with a frown .


    "No, what is it Mei Ling? you''re scaring me!" She chuckled.


    "It''s nothing I was just worried about you , you were drunk so I thought people would take advantage of you!" He knew she was lying but he chuckled and played along, if she wanted to tell him she would.


    "I''m on set right now I''ll call you back later" he announced.


    "No , call me right after this scene infact call me after each scene or text me either one" he smiled.


    "Ok, got to go, bye" she hummed and the call ended, letting out a sigh she rested her head on the chair he probably didn''t know or he was going to let it slide.


    True to his words he texted her each time he was done with a scene so this made Mei Ling relax it seemed like Lee Ai Bao wasn''t going to do a thing.


    Later at night, Lu yang just got home after a hectic day of shooting and was closing the door when a deep voice rang behind him.


    "I see you''ve got some nerves Mr Lu!" Immediately Lu yang''s head shot up to the direction of the voice but the area was dark so he couldn''t see anything, that''s when Ai Bao stepped out and this made Lu yang scoff.


    "What are you doing? Shooting a movie? I see!" Hw closed the door and ignored Lee Ai Bao who''s jaw ticked noticing his attitude.


    "I''ve come to warm you Mr Yang, it''s either you keep being the best friend Mei Ling wants or you stay the fuck away from my woman!" He growled, a sadistic smile on his face.


    His threat annoyed Lu Yang and he turned back to him walking towards him.


    "And if I don''t? What are you going to do? Kill me? Punch me? Keep me locked up?" He chuckled when he saw that his words got to Ai Bao, about to leave Lee Ai Bao landed a punch in his face.


    This busted Lu yang''s lips and he hissed in pain, trying to strike a hit too Ai Bao moved away and Lu Yang fell on the floor face first.


    Lee Ai Bao chuckled"can''t even land a proper punch and you think you can protect her, fuck off alright?" He smiled and was walking away but Lu Yang didn''t feel justified.


    Running after him, he hit him from the back instead of a since , Ai Bao tutted and turned back striking him on the stomach multiple before he fell on the floor.


    "When are you going to be wise? Stop fighting for what was never yours and move in while I''m being nice, wuss" he scoffed and kicked again before walking away.


    Minutes later Lu yang was trying to take care of his wounds when his phone checking the caller ID he smirked.


    "Let''s see how you''ll feel when the woman you want hates you!" Picking up he pretended to be in great pain.


    "Mei Ling" he stressed out , immediately she shot up from the bed.


    "What''s wrong? Where are you right now?" She questioned already grabbing her keys.


    "Home" he sobbed, being an actor it was easy for him to pull it off.


    Mei Ling drove as fast as she could to his house , disappointment clear on her face as she didn''t believe he''d prove her right.


    "What happened?" She called out immediately she stepped in, sighting Lu Yang she gasped when she saw his state.


    "Ai Bao, he came here to warn me off" Mei Ling felt hurt and she swallowed.


    "I''m so sorry it''s my fault if he didn''t see .....I should stop seeing him, a man that can hurt my bestfriend doesn''t deserve my attention" she sobbed and he chuckled pinching her cheeks.


    "Look at you being a cry baby" she cried and engulfed him in a hug, after taking care if his wounds and making sure he was asleep she left.


    Lee Ai Bao was currently shirtless with his knuckles bandaged and a part of his back red from being hit, the doorbell rang and he frowned going to the door he smiled immediately he saw she was the one.


    He had been expecting her immediately he left Lu yang''s house, without saying a word she stepped in.

 Chapter 21 - 20

    "How could you?" She screamed at him and he sat down with a neutral expression.


    "Do you want anything to drink?"he questioned like she didn''t just yell at him.


    "W....what?" To say that she was flabbergasted was an understatement, just who did he think he was?


    "You need a drink? Bath or food?" She glared at him but he just smiled somehow he liked when she was pissed at him, that is the woman he fell for feisty and easily riled up.


    "Are you crazy? I''m talking to you right now and you''re asking if I want food?" Disbelief was evident on her face.


    "What do you want me to say? I definitely don''t feel bad for what I did!" He stood up and pulled her closer kissing her she pushed him off and scoffed.


    "What am I to you? A joke? Of course you just showed that why I''m I asking" his expression turned cold not only because she pulled away from the kiss but her assumption was really infuriating.


    "He touched you! He fucking kissed you and hurt you in the process what do you expect me to do sit back and watch a man harass my woman no way!"


    Mei Ling felt like she was being suffocated as tears threatened to spill out, she then realized she was in deep, he hadn''t even directed his anger to her and yet she felt this much pain.


    "He was drunk, he was fucking drunk, you''re not his friend , I Am and I know how much pain he''s been feeling for the past few years and you can''t just go around hurting him because you think he likes me he doesn''t and even if he does that is none of your business!" She yelled right back the tears spilling out if her eyes.


    What sort of man was this that made her cry over something so petty.


    "I promised to protect you Mei Ling, to love you, cherish you and then some man that claims even your bestfriend is hurting you,how do you expect me to react seeing a man touch my woman, how?" She swallowed.


    "I am not your woman, I don''t belong to anybody , I belong to just myself and if you can''t do without hurting the people I care about then I guess you should stay away from me and my family, just so you know Lu Yang is family!" Grabbing the keys she dropped, she stormed out furiously wiping her tears leaving Lee Ai Bao frozen on the spot.


    Did she just kick him out of her life? Just because of him?.


    Angrily he kicked the chair and stormed of to his room.


    Two days later........


    Their children had called off the dinner that was supposed to happened that day and this had them worried by the time they looked into the matter they had found out what Lee Ai Bao did.


    Of course this ticked off elder Lee and Elder mei as they scolded him for what he did, while madam Lee tried to explain that he was always over protective but the two of them were just too stubborn.


    Mei Ling kept checking her phone severally since the day she told him off but there wasn''t a single text , this made her feel miserable.


    He really left! Was all she could think about, she therefore immersed herself in work but it just wasn''t working as her mind always went to him.


    Lee Ai Bao had waited patiently for her to call,text or even visit but there was nothing, he had thought of going to her but she had insisted he stayed away.


    Also , did he always have to be the one running to her? Why can''t she chase him also? Therefore,he concluded that if there was no news from her in a week she had definitely cut him off.


    Later that day the elders saw that the children were rather strong headed so madam Lee called Mei Ling.


    "Mother" her once cheerful voice rang out she didn''t have the strength to deal with his family members now.


    "Mei Ling" she called out with a sob loud enough for Mei Ling to detect it.


    "What''s wrong? Mother!" She was tying a robe that had an hoodie and was rather too short for a bath robe but those were the kinds of f things she liked.


    She was cleaning up by the vanity table when the call came in and madam Mei was in tears?


    "It''s Ai Bao" this had Mei Ling shoot up from her seat.


    "What ? What''s wrong with him?" She sounded anxious as she asked.


    "He was hit!" Mei Ling gasped searching for her keys.


    "What? Where is he ? Is he okay? Where is he?" She rushed down to her care not noticing the weird looks she got because she was wearing a robe.


    "At home, we don''t want the media to know so he''s being treated at his house not the Lee mansion!"


    "Ok I''m on my way" she chewed on her lips, how did this happen?


    She kept praying that he was ok or she''d really hate herself... what if he was distracted because of our argument and didn''t take caution.


    Running up the stairs she got to his house and rang the doorbell before breathing in and out.

 Chapter 22 - 21

    Mei Ling''s eyes widened and her heart thudded in her chest when she saw Lee Ai Bao standing shirtless with no injury.


    She glared at her feet, this Madam Lee!


    Lee Ai Bao was shocked when he saw Mei Ling by the door, he knew for a fact that this woman was proud and the highest she could do was text him but showing up at his door was a whole other level and that too in a robe, a very very short robe.


    He pulled her inside and locked the door, pinning her against the wall, but she was too ashamed to look at him, that''s when she noticed what she was wearing, her eyes widened in shock and she tried hard not to scream


    A few minutes had gone by but he hadn''t said a thing she''d have believed he wasn''t there if she couldn''t see his feet.


    Looking up she met his loving gaze and immediately regretted looking at him, as it made her feel guilty, this man loved her that was clear; if he didn''t then he wouldn''t beat up Lu Yang without batting an eye and what did she do? She told him off , telling him to stay away wasn''t she being cruel.


    Closing her eyes she leaned in and her lips met his, of course this shocked Ai Bao to his bones.


    When she ran her tongue on his lower lip he closed his eyes and let her in, unlike before she was actually trying to battle with him for dominance.


    But when Lu Yang refused to back down she bit his lips hard and he yelped letting her take control, he chuckled when he realized what she had just done, he held her waist tighter.


    When they had both turned breathless from the kiss, she let him go and he hugged her.


    "I missed you, I missed you so much"


    She pushed him off and walked to the couch taking her seat.


    "Liar!" She scoffed and he smiled sitting beside her.


    "Why? I''m serious every second was living hell for me"


    "You missed me and you didn''t bother to call how cruel is that?" She pouted and he pecked her lips, she pursed her lips trying to hide her blush but he chuckled.


    "I''m sorry and I''m also not sorry, Sorry because I hurt you and didn''t bother to acknowledge it , Not sorry because if I had a chance to do what I did I''d do it again, nobody can touch you and go scot-free , Not on my watch!"


    " I missed you too!" He smiled, she seemed to like how overbearing he was and somehow she had come to see him in a different light.


    What man would accept his woman being touched and injured, only a foolish Man.


    "I''m sorry too for over reacting" he smiled.


    "If you''re sorry cook for me, I miss eating your food!"


    "You ate it just once!"he smiled


    "Does it matter?"she eyed him.


    "Fine let''s go to the kitchen" happiness was clear on his face because of the wide smile playing on his lips.

    "You missed me so much you appeared in a robe, wow I guess you love me more than I love myself" she pinched his hand and he winced , she fixed acrylic nails so it was definitely painful.


    "It was your mother, she called and said you got hit!" He chuckled, his mother was definitely the best.


    "Let''s watch a movie when we''re done , what do you say?"


    "Who wants to watch a movie with you?" He chuckled, he missed her, so, so much.


    At the airport a man had arrived with his entourage, he was handsome by first glance, tall , broadchested and anything you could find in a fairytale man but what people didn''t know was that underneath his mask , he was a psychopath and now he was back for her.


    She thought because she was running around with that idiot she could escape him, no way.


    The idiots family were by far higher than him but he''d do anything possible to have her within his claws.


    Taking out his phone he didn''t have to search for her contact to see it infact he had a phone dedicated for her only, it had all her pictures, her social media accounts, everything about her.


    "I''m back did you miss me?" he smiled ,the thought of her expression when she saw his text would definitely be amazing, before closing his phone he looked at her recent picture that was now his wallpaper and smiled.


    It looked like he had to visit this man, Mei Ling you''re mine.

 Chapter 23 - 22

    Mei Ling had decided to prepare a simple meal and so they sat down to eat.


    Lee Ai Bao was busy stuffing his mouth with food while talking,this had her scrunch her nose up as if irritated even though she found it cute.


    "I cannot believe the so much idolized Ai Bao eats like this, so disgusting!" He glared at her stabbing his chopsticks into his food while she chuckled then her phone beeped.


    She picked it up , opening the text her face turned pale , Lee Ai Bao noticed immediately as he had been wondering who would disrupt their happy time, but seeing the ghastly Expression on her face , it made him worried.


    Ai Bao grabbed the phone to see what it was but was surprised when he saw it was just a greeting, '' did she get scared because of this? '' he wondered staring at her, she hadn''t even noticed that he had grabbed the phone.


    There was more to it, that much was obvious.


    The number was not saved but Mei Ling knew that number well that was the number he used to contact her since he ran to the states, when that person had found out her father was out to get him he ran to the states so their hands were tied and now it''s been nearly four years since he left and he was back with the guts to inform her that he was back.


    She alone knew what he had done to her and it took her two whole years to get out of it and now he was back?!


    Without realizing it her hands were shaking and she seemed to be trembling as she recalled the last incident before he left, that had been the worst day of her life, tears had formed in her eyes and they were spilling, this scene hurt Ai Bao so much , he texted the number to Mr Zhang asking for the owners identity.


    Suddenly Mei Ling felt a large hand covering her trembling ones, she looked up and she met Ai Bao''s gaze, his heart squeezed seeing the tearful look on her face, what had this person done to her?


    He pulled her up and hugged her this gesture was enough to pull Mei Ling out of her state as she hugged him back, she cried.


    "He''s back!" She mumbled, crying silent tears as those words rang in her head, soon her head started aching followed by a loud ring like a bell was struck, Lee Ai Bao who had been patting her on her head and back felt something was wrong and then suddenly her body went limp in his hands.


    His eyes widened as he looked at her, panicking he picked her up after grabbing his car keys.


    Running downstairs to his car, he did everything possible to get to the hospital, even beating traffic lights, he couldn''t lose her, he just couldn''t!


    Once they got to the hospital, she was placed on a stretcher and wheeled to the emergency room, his eyes went red as tears threatened to spill out , just who was this person to do this to her without being there physically? What had they done to her?


    In the Lee mansion they had received a speed ticket and so they called Lee Ai Bao.


    "Mother!" Madam Lee''s expression changed once she heard his voice.


    "What is it?" Her husband who was drinking his tea as usual looked at her immediately.


    "Mei Ling! She fainted" that was enough to make his tears , his woman had fainted and he didn''t know why? Who? All he could do was sit there and look like a loser.


    "What? What hospital?"


    "Our usual!" He croaked out trying to stop his tears.


    " We''ll be there" the four elders had been in the Lee mansion, celebrating their master plan of bringing their children back together so they drove down to the hospital, all that was on their mind was that they were doing something naughty and so she fainted or she was pregnant, they strongly hoped it was the later.


    Lee Ai Bao couldn''t bring himself to step in , he didn''t want her to see him crying or she''d feel bad, soon the sound of rushed footsteps could be heard in the hallway.


    "Where''s my daughter?" Madam Mei''s voice rang out immediately she got there and he pointed to the the room.


    "They are cleaning her up so we can''t step in" she swallowed.


    "What happened?" Elder Lee''s authoritative voice snapped them out of the drama.


    "She got this text and turned pale I thought it was a threat but.....then I was hugging her while she cried suddenly she fainted"


    "What? Let me see it!" Elder Mei quickly grabbed the phone and read the text , he exchanged looks with madam Mei, hurt was clear in their and the Lee''s wondered what was going on.


    "Let''s go talk Shufen"he nodded and left with Elder Lee while Madam Lee went in with madam Mei.


    After some time, Lee Ai Bao sent them off, And by the time he summoned courage to go in , Mei Ling had woken up.


    He forced a smile and walked up to her, he kissed her forehead then lips before sitting down and entwining their hands.


    "How are you feeling?"


    "My head aches, why did you bring me here? you should have taken me to Mei Mansion"he smiled.


    "I was too scared to think, hey, don''t you dare faint on me like that again, I almost died of heart attack" she Chuckled and he smiled.


    "I won''t" her stomach growled and she bit her lips embarrassed.


    "You didn''t finish dinner right? I''ll go get you some fruits the doctor said you should have some once you wake up, I''ll be back" she nodded.


    Minutes later he was back like he never even left, he helped her to sit up and then stacked the pillows behind her to make her comfortable.


    "Here drink some water you must be thirsty right?" He made sure she drank more than enough before feeding her.


    The warmth that filled Mei Ling nearly made her forget the issue at hand, She knew he was trying not to ask questions it was evident in his eyes, also he loved her would he still do when he found out what happened to her, nobody liked damaged goods.


    "I....." They said at the same time and then laughed.


    "You go first!" She encouraged him.


    "I know you''re currently in pain and might not want to tell me what happened I understand so I''ll wait till you''re ready, don''t think much about it" she smiled as always he was caring and thoughtful that''s why she had to tell him , because if she postponed it would keep going and going.


    Then when they''re already too deep in the relationship he''d find out and ending things will be extremely hard, they were still new so it wouldn''t hurt that much, She''d tell him now and let him go, easily.


    "No way, I have to tell you now it''s better that way.... keep the fruits" he swallowed, was he really ready to hear it?.


    "You don''t have to feel pressured, just....."


    "No I want to tell you, it''d make me feel better" he nodded and kept the fruits while she inhaled.....This was it!

    Chewing her lips nervously, she inhaled and exhaled concluding that she had better get it over with now.


    "When I was in high school, senior year we had a new student, her name was Zhen haoran and from the look of things her family had just landed jackpot, the students described them as new money, she was always bullied because at the the time she still had her country bumpkin traits and I couldn''t stand it so I helped her and then she got close to me, in makeup, fashion, eating, talking, charisma and everything a wealthy person should know , I taught her then she started changing, Lu Yang had warned me to stay away from her but I didn''t listen time without number she''d pretend to be a good friend but I never knew who she really was and by the time I found out it was too late, whether it was my skin color, my brains, my family, my beauty everything about me gained attention and this did not go down well with her, because I taught her she believed she was on par with me and should be giving that same attention too , so she started competing with me, at the time I loved braids a lot so I always braided my hair with a mix of pink , suddenly she appeared at school with the same hairstyle, you can imagine how flabbergasted I was" they both chuckled.


    "Wow I feel like hurting her right now!" She chuckled.


    " She claimed that she wanted people to know we were close so I didn''t bother and kept ignoring Lu yang''s warnings, unfortunately for her she didn''t get the attention she wanted and instead people mockes her for trying to be who she wasn''t, this didn''t move her at all another week the school received the shock of their life when she appeared with tanned skin and short tight uniforms with my favorite brand of heels, I have a cute ass so I loved short skirts so much and my boobs weren''t so big but I was proud of it so my uniforms were exceptionally tight and my heels?, Well if you saw me you''d think I was a uniform model and that was what she did school bag included, I''m sure she couldn''t get my car because you know it was specially made for me"

    "Each time I cooked I''d pack it up for him to take it along to work and then in the afternoon I''ll prepare pastries for him only to see the lunch box in the wastebasket, I''d smile and conclude that my cooking was bad but the pastries had the same fate if anything my pastries were the best Lu Yang loved those things more than me,he could eat them for one week as breakfast,lunch and dinner that''s how much he loved them, but he .....he always threw my hard work in the wastebasket without thinking twice, sometimes if conclude we need to break up but then I''d end up getting hit and he''d threaten **** me , I could have spoken up but I was too ashamed to talk and I foolishly believed he''d change, his mother didn''t even see me as her daughter in law , it was either my dressing style was bad or my hair was too short or I was ugly, she always had something against me but I was stuck to him like a fly following poop, eventually I stopped loving him, I moved out of his house but he found where I moved to and each night he''d come and beat me up , tear my clothes,touch me and even jack off on me , one day I came home to find my things being moved when I inquired I found out he gave the orders to move them back, he kept me locked up inside and started letting Lu Yang see me when Lu Yang started suspecting, soon he restored my freedom and I started working again, he stopped coming home and I felt like I could breathe once in a while he''d come home touch me without doing the real thing and just jack off on me before leaving, I started seeing a shrink and she convinced me to try confronting him, that he kept doing what he did because I was being weak so I prepared another meal and went to visit him in the office, you can imagine the shock of my life when I saw him shagging my supposed friend Zhen haoran, they didn''t even act guilty and continued like I wasn''t even there to begin with so I left and concluded he wouldn''t come home, I had just wrapped myself in the blanket and couldn''t even cry as I looked lost so I called Lu Yang when I felt like I was going to lose it, it was already late but I knew even if Lu Yang had a shoot in africa and I called he''d rush down so I still called, but Li jie got there before him, I was standing by the patio with a blanket wrapped round me when I felt someone yank my hair as usual he was high on drugs, he had made sure to beat me up till I was weak and couldn''t fight back before stabbing me with a syringe geeked with coke, then he forcefully entered me through the back, my ass that''s when Lu Yang came , you can imagine how I felt when you beat up someone like that" Lee Ai Bao was in tears after her story, so this was what she went through.


    "Fool!" He croaked out and she chuckled and purses her lips immediately tasting her salty tears.


    "I know, so I understand if you want nothing to do with me it''s inevitable you can......" He kissed her hard forgetting the fact that she was still recovering, he smothered her body against his she was a foolish woman, he concluded in his head.

    After kissing for a while, he let go of her lips and hugged her.


    "Don''t you dare say I should leave you because I won''t never, I never actually believed that I could love someone this much in two weeks but it''s happening and now you''re telling me to leave, don''t try it, just don''t!" She broke down in tears when she heard such words, who was she to get a man like him.


    "Ai Bao" she croaked out and he smiled patting her back, if they told him that one day he''d be hugging and crying with a woman in an hospital room he''d have the person taken to the basement and give him or her a good and befitting torture but it was true and he was glad.


    Back to the flop that did what he did to his woman he definitely wasn''t going to go easy on him and that witch of a mother.


    He continued feeding her with fruits as she told him funny and embarassing stories about herself before finally falling asleep.


    He had requested for a larger bed when she said she wanted to lie on the same bed with him in an hospital as she had seen in dramas, so right at that moment he was staring at her face with a blissful smile playing on his lips.


    Love at first sight truly existed and that was because once you met that person your souls seem to know already and just keep pushing you to that person till you''re together.


    That''s exactly how he felt that day he saw her at the bar, he had just finished torturing a female worker who not only sold out important files company information but also tried to drug him luckily his clumsy friend was pissed at him that day and drank up the whole bottle to get back at him.

    By the time they both woke up next morning it was really late , the nurse that was supposed to check Mei Ling the next morning was blushing all over seeing the intimate position they were in.


    As if that wasn''t enough, Ai Bao stood up shirtless, the room had been hot at night so he sleepily took off his top and had forgotten he did, the way the nurse was eye fucking Ai Bao didn''t go unnoticed by Mei Ling who glared at the nurse for doing that.


    "Morning baby!" He kissed her lips and forehead, she smirked at the nurse who frowned at the petty woman on the bed, For goodness sake I was just admiring! You think I''ll go after a man like that? , The nurse wailed in her head before smiling and raising the finger with a ring to brush her hair, Mei Ling saw this and Chuckled.


    Ai Bao noticed the weird exchange between the two women and arched his brows narrowing his eyes at Mei Ling, doing both at the same time made him look hot,this had Mei Ling bite her lip looking like she could consume him whole.


    Ai Bao shivered when he noticed the meaning of her stare, smiling at her he kissed her hand.


    "I''ll go take a bath or would you like to join me?" He hoped she''d refuse as he just said it to tease her, he didn''t know if he''d be able to hold himself if she was naked in front of him.


    Meanwhile Mei Ling had been hoping he''d ask that and then maybe they could go further than just a bath, she had to agree that sex was addictive and could make one do unexpected things as she hadn''t been a herself since the first time she had sex with him.

She nodded and smirked immediately he left, she had to gift Lu yang the sports car he had been asking for, it was the perks of being friends with an actor, he had always practised script lines with her so she had to improve her acting to meet up with his, but then thinking back she realized that the scenes she practised with him were romantic scenes.


    Was she the woman or not? Was she really stupid or clueless?


    "I''m back" she smiled and stood up weakly this made Ai Bao chuckle seeing how far she was willing to go with the acting.


    He had known she was acting immediately she started trying to be cute, openly being cute was definitely not Mei Ling she was cute without trying, her undoing was the pout he had watched her long enough to know that she never whined out loud and only pouted when she was embarrassed.


    "You can stop acting now!" Her eyes widened and she looked at him , immediately she looked away as her face burned with embarrassed and she gave her significant pout.


    "I''m not acting" he chuckled and held her face with both hands after after pulling out her lips from her teeth.


    "Mei Ling, if you want me to do something all you need to do is ask I''ll do anything you ask me to even if you ask me to lick and kiss your mud stained feet I''d readily do it without hesitating, just don''t tell me to leave you that''s the only thing I won''t do" she smiled trying to hide her face Making him chuckle.


    "But, if I ask you to....." He noticed the mischievous glint in her eyes and could easily guess what she was thinking.


    "I won''t eat your poop" she Chuckled and he laughed, this woman just how was she created?


    Mei Ling was disappointed when they got to the bathroom and he started washing her up like a baby, he even made sure to scrub her well, she kept pouting open he''ll keep the memo but it felt like he wasn''t even there to be begin with, after washing himself up he tied her up in a towel and left her to walk out sulking, what kind of man was he? Why claim he loves her if he can''t notice what she wanted?


    What she didn''t know was that he had indeed noticed that she was sulking but he couldn''t touch her, if something did happen to her just because he couldn''t keep it in his pants he wouldn''t be able to forgive himself, he loves her a lot but her health was his priority.


    He was pissed when he came out to see Mei Ling still in her towel talking to a doctor who was staring at her lustfully, was she that clueless?


    "Who do you think you''re? staring at my woman like that? Do you want to lose your job?" Mei Ling glared at him meanwhile the young doctor was trembling they had all withnessed first hand how protective he was towards her last night besides he was still a young doctor.


    "Why can''t he stare at me? It''s his eyes and my body why can''t he stare?" Cold sweat broke out on the doctors forehead, he kept wiping but they still kept coming as he trembled he felt like he was soon going to pee on his body.


    Did she have to make him suffer like this? What kind of person did he offend to deserve this?


    "Really?" He glared coldly at the doctor and the doctor felt his pants getting wet.


    "Well I''ll leave now thank you" he ran away and sighed he was indeed lucky to escape.


    "Don''t do anything to him!" She stated and he scoffed.


    "He was mind fucking you and you expect me not to do anything, stop dreaming!" She sighed.


    "It''s no wonder why everyone is after your life" she muttered loud enough for him to hear , immediately his head snapped towards her.


    "What? You did not just say that!" She smiled sweetly at him so much that he thought he was going to die from nosebleed.


    "Don''t do anything to him!" She stated again and he sighed and she smiled victoriously.


    He loved that smile on her face, in fact he thought she looked extra beautiful when she smiled like that.

    While eating the door suddenly flung open and Lu yang''s hand immediately flew to the rifle I''m his pocket as if he was already anticipating the barge in, he relaxed when he saw that it was just Lu Yang.


    "Hey!" He screamed and hugged Mei Ling squeezing her tight this made Ai Bao so made he felt like pulling the trigger to maybe shoot his butt then he could claim it was a finger slip, it was just one pull and that was it, just one pull!


    He had focused the rifle on his butt and was getting ready to pull when he remembered Mei Ling''s tearful face after screaming at him four days ago, if he pulled the trigger she would never believe it was a slip which was true and she may really stay away from him, at times like that he wished she was a dumb woman so that he could really shoot this fucker.


    "Why are you pointing a gun at him?" Mei Ling asked when she noticed he was still standing with the rifle pointed right at Lu yang, he glared at her.


    "Let go of my woman she needs air and you''re currently encroaching it" Lu Yang who suddenly heard a man''s voice let go of her and when his eyes fell on him he gritted his teeth.


    "What are you doing here?" He asked oblivious to the fact that they were back together.


    "As you can see I was eating with my woman" he enunciated the ny woman for him to hear and this annoyed Lu Yang, why did this man always have a knack for annoying him?


    "From what I remember she had told you to stay away" he glared right back at him and Mei Ling gulped were they really going to do this again?


    "Wrong, she said if I can''t do without hurting people she loves I should stay away and I told her clearly last night that as long as they don''t cross my paths and are definitely not threatening to our relationship or her I won''t hurt them, which means anybody that even dreams of coming in between us has to disappear" he smirked when he noticed the ticking vein on Lu yang''s forehead, that''s right he should stay the fuck away!


    "Your woman?" Lu yang with disbelief....."hey Mei Ling did you agree to this?" She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat Ai Bao did know how to make a good threat.


    "Well you know, I kinda like him and all , I can''t stay single because of that incident for ever right?" She chuckled nervously and he bit his lips hard to hold back his emotions.


    "Why him? Why not....." He took a pause and this had Ai Bao chuckle he was indeed lucky he didn''t complete that statement his butt would have gotten that bullet.


    "I''m sorry" Ai Bao glared at her and she glared back.


    "Why are you sorry? Everyone has the right to date whoever they want do you have to be sorry? He doesn''t rule your life you know besides since that idiot is back someone''s going to have to kill him and protect you and that someone cannot be taken down by just one strike right?"he was obviously mocking Lu Yang who scoffed while earning a glare from Mei Ling, if he succeeded in pissing off Ai Bao then he couldn''t really be blamed when he got beaten up, she knew for a fact Lee Ai Bao was going to beat up Lu Yang without even breaking a sweat.


    "Will you guys stop it......"her words got stuck in her throat when the door opened up again and all four elders came in with maids holding several food items, Mei Ling massaged her forehead when she saw the entourage , she wasn''t dying for goodness sake.


    "Ahh" she muttered before collapsing on the bed as she felt like crying, one thing she hated most was attention and they were definitely attracting attention by doing this.


    "Mei Ling you''re awake" her mother''s sweet voice rang out , immediately she sat up and glared at the elders who shivered under her stare.


    "What is all this? You know how much I hate attention, why?" She asked feeling extremely frustrated Ai Bao had frustrated her sexually on too of that he kept being shameless, now Lu Yang came and their word exchange had frustrated her and now this? Just what kind of people was she fated to meet in life this was just too cruel.


    "Hey watch your tone I''m your father in law" elder Lee threatened with a flustered gaze.

    "I just asked you a question" she snapped, these days people had been getting in her nerves easily but that wasn''t entirely true, she wasn''t scared of the enemies that could pose a threat to her but the person she feared the most had said he was back, if he texted her that only meant he was coming for her and she''d be lying if she said she wasn''t scared, infact she was terrified as she was not anticipating his next step , she had been monitoring his movements in italy, he was currently a mob boss and there was a serious price in his head for people to get him.


    At least before he left he wasn''t even aware that the mafia existed and he was that brutal, now he was even a mob boss and his clan was rapidly growing and would soon butt heads with theirs,it''s not that they couldn''t take care of his clan but they had to tread carefully, his family may not be prestigious but that didn''t mean they could mess around with them they might receive a fatal blow even though they can get back on their feet ten times stronger, it was not a mission they could gamble with.


    Her greatest fear was that since he texted her he must still have that possessive and obsessive character and she was sure he''d try to attack Ai Bao, what if something did happen to him?     She had to think of something and do it fast.

    "I know you''re scared and more than anything you don''t want anybody to get hurt because you think it''s all your fault but it isn''t, it''s not your fault that you were young and in love, it''s not your fault that someone took your naivety for granted and decided to hurt you, it''s not your fault that you kept loving even after what they did, it''s totally not your fault so don''t you dare think about fighting alone because I''m here and I definitely won''t let you, okay?" She sobbed and he patted her back as he lent her his shoulder to cry on.


    He was definitely good with words and if it were a different situation she''d have listened to him but not this, if something happened to him or any other person she loves just because she had to tread carefully she''d never ever forgive herself besides he didn''t have to know about her plans he''d just hear that Li jie had died and that was that.

    After breakfast, Mei Ling stubbornly got prepared for work as none of the Lee''s wanted her to leave, she just fainted and they were overreacting.


    Getting to the office, her assistant briefed her on the things she had for the day and that included a photo shoot with Lu Yang. They did that every year to celebrate their friendship anniversary.


    Mei Ling and Lu Yang met in middle school, Mei Ling had just come back from the states to continue her education so people considered her a foreigner and she was stared at every where she went.


    She had learnt the hard way not to look away when she was being stared at, at the time there were bullies in her school since she didn''t like to brag about her background they labeled her as charity case and thought they could easily bully her.


    One day they had been staring at her, feeling pressured and trying to avoid the spotlights she looked away and this made the bullies feel happy they tried to bully her by pouring her lunch on her, well they weren''t lucky enough because she single handedly beat them up.

    Work began immediately as time was different now, before they could slack off because none of them were working but now Mei Ling was a business woman and so she had to make good use of time.


    Soon the photoshoot started as they switched between different clothes, many businesses used this as a form of endorsement it was a simple win win situation they celebrate their anniversary by endorsing those clothes and then get paid.


    At a particular time they were required to take a rather intimate picture, if it was the clueless Mei Ling she''d have done it happily but now it felt so suffocating, she knew Lu Yang had detected that something was off and so if she asked them to change that pose he''d definitely suspect her.

    "You know I''m a man too" his voice came out husky before he slammed his lips on hers, Mei Ling was flabbergasted as her heart kept beating fast, Lu Yang had totally forgotten that they were taking pictures as he relished the taste of her lips blocking out the excited scream and chant of the photographer.


    Reluctantly he let go of her lips and stared at her hungrily, he had held back for too long and now that his chances felt threatened he wasn''t ready to hold back.


    Mei Ling didn''t know if she should run off or put on a smile and go on with the shoot, Lu Yang seemed to pick up her dilemma as he grabbed her hands entwining it with his, placing his hands on the small of her back he pulled her closer, as a form of defense her leg went up and stayed beside his waist exposing her tanned legs, Lu Yang took advantage of this and held the leg.


    Shock was apparent on her face as she was forced to wrap her hands round him, her heart was beating crazy fast so fast she could have sworn the director and photographer could hear it.


    Why does he have to do this? Biting her lower lip she remembered the way he kissed her and this made her face flush, the photographer was amazed at how she could convey her emotions, she was even better than most models! Of course he was unaware that she was thinking of something.

    "Are you crazy? Why did you hit him?" Mei Ling screamed running towards Lu Yang who was laughing with a bloodied nose, but Lee Ai Bao grabbed her hands and her purse before pulling her along with him.


    "Let me go , now!" She kept struggling and when Ai Bao felt like he couldn''t handle it he picked her up and moved towards the elevator.


    When they got she pushed him away.


    "What is wrong with you? How could you do that?"


    "You can''t really blame me, what do you expect when I see my girlfriend in another man''s clothes after spending the whole day with him and then kissing him because if a so called photoshoot? How do you expect me to react?"


    "You were tailing me? Does that mean you don''t trust me? " She gave a low chuckle as understanding flashed in her eyes.


    "I do trust you but not him"


    "He''s my friend, my best friend I knew him before you all I needed was one day with him and you took that away!" She yelled at him.


    "You''re in his clothes! He kissed you, he fucking kissed you!" He choked out as tears threatened to spill, she was hurting him.

    "No you''re not, if you are you wouldn''t hit him the second time you know how much Lu yang means to me and yet you went and did this!" He swallowed realizing he had truly messed up.

    Ai Bao watched Mei Ling''s retreating figure and his heart squeezed, it wasn''t his fault that he was doing what he did.


    The things he had suffered in the hands of women made him that way, in most books the male lead was always handsome and rich, so it was nearly impossible for him to get heart broken, but this was real life.


    Now most women didn''t give a damn about love or that sort of fairytale they wanted a man that was rich and could cater for all their needs while they sat doing nothing.

    "I''m sorry, I''m deeply truly sorry, it''s all my fault and I accept that but I was never like this in the first place, After completing my education I met this woman, you''d think with my looks and wealth she''d actually fall in love with me but I was wrong...the signs were there but I just never noticed it because I was foolishly in love, she barely let me touch her or kiss her all she wanted was money, designer shoes, bags , expensive cars and I....I did everything without questioning after all I was a man and it made me proud being able to spoil my girlfriend" he chuckled as he recounted what happened, Mei Ling felt a thug in a chest , was she too harsh?


    "I had travelled for business reasons and it took me months to complete that project, she wouldn''t call if I didn''t but I felt that it was just her flaw, maybe she just didn''t know how to be caring, I decided to surprise her the day I got back and so I went to her house, only to get there to meet the shock of my life, the man whom she had introduced as her uncle was balls deep inside her and then my gaze fell on their wedding photo.... She had been sleeping with her husband taking my money and even staying in the house I bought for her with her husband....I just didn''t know what to do I felt sad and heartbroken, the worst part was when she took me to her parents the man was there and they gladly introduced him as her uncle.....for years I was heart broken till I met you and so when I see you with other men I get so scared that you''re going to leave and then I loose it... I am really really sorry" Mei Ling opened her eyes.


    "Fool" then she pulled her hand turning her back against him, tears crowded both their eyes as Ai Bao was already red everywhere from the tears he had tried so hard to hold in, he continued to watch her till her breathing softened, confirming she was asleep he lifted her up with a smile in his face as she instantly snuggled into his embrace.


    He knew sleeping like that was going to hurt her neck and then give her an headache and he didn''t want this, getting to their room he laid her down and then joined her in bed when she suddenly laid on him, he just felt too warm and she loved the warmth coming from him.

    Next morning Ai Bao woke up when he felt something grinding against him, he groaned in pleasure until his breast was pinched hard, immediately his eyes shot open and he screamed when he saw the deadly look in Mei Ling''s eyes.


    "Let go of me" she struggled and that''s when he realized she wasn''t grinding but struggling to escape his tight grip.


    "Let go already are you planning to strangle me ?"he immediately let go and because she was struggling she fell on the floor.


    Glaring at him she stood up and kicked his butt making him laugh as he watched her angry figure stomping to the bathroom.


    He quickly got up and prepared her food making sure to make it just how she liked it, they had finished getting prepared for work when Mei Ling stepped out.


    She sat down to eat without saying a word to him , she didn''t know what to say and how to say it because she felt guilty.


    As they are he kept putting food in her plate making her eat all the good food even though he had to stick to vegetables and this made several lumps to form in her throat.


    "Just stop it" she yelled as tears threatened to spill what was he trying to do? Make her feel guilty? Meanwhile Ai Bao was shocked at her outburst and immediately stopped feeding her as he felt scared what if she had decided to leave him.


    "Is this what you''re trying to do? Making me feel bad ? Guilty? That is seriously Petty you know!" She yelled at him grabbing her bags.

    "Why can''t you just be mean? Snub me or something! Do you have to be the best man ever?" He chuckled and wiped her tears.


    "I love you" she smiled.


    "I love you too" the smile on his face froze as his heart did the same too, he just watched her without moving and this got her married.


    Never in his life had he expected for her to respond back, he had gotten used to her just retorting or smiling back each time he confessed his love for her.


    But today she just had to give him an heart attack, he had always imagined how he''d react when she would finally say it but this possibility never occurred to him, he was slowly starting to turn pale until he felt a sting on his cheek.


    Starved for air he started inhaling as fast as he could with his heart beating as fast as it could, it was going to explode soon.

    "After three years this is how you greet me! Fine I missed you so much" he replied as his smirk grew wide, that fearful look on her face, he loved how she was quick to mask it, she was going to be his and nothing could stop him.

    "You know the nerve of you to come into my office after what you and your mother did really shocks me! Beware Li jie your freedom is going to be short lived, that''s a promise!"

    Mei Ling was struggling to breathe as he pressed down hard on her throat, her eyes were filled with tears as she struggled for breathe.


    "I don''t tolerate disrespect and you should be thankful I like you else you''d be dead, don''t think because you''re in the mafia I won''t do a thing I can and I will, so behave understand?" She nodded as she kept tapping before he let her go and and kissed her.


    "You shouldn''t really be pissing me off now would you do it again?" She didn''t reply as she sobbed her chest heaving up and down in an attempt to get air, her makeup was ruined and her eyes were swollen leaving her tanned face slightly red.


    "Would you do it again?" He tightened his grip on her waist and she shook her head vigorously making him smile, his tongue darted out tasting her tears before chuckling.


    "You''re going to move out of Lee Ai Bao''s house!" He stated before letting her go and walking out, secretary Go was shocked when she saw the man walk out of her bosses office she didn''t remember letting anyone in.

    In the hospital room, Mei Ling lay unconscious, she had been unconscious for two days while Ai Bao had been barking orders at the doctor''s and nurses and her mother kept crying.


    She had a panic attack coupled with the shortage of air it lead to her having a fever, that day she had been rushed to the hospital and Ai Bao had run out from a meeting with the share holders, he was so mad when he found out what happened that he detained secretary Go for conspiracy.


    Finally, Mei Ling woke up with a painful moan her throat was dry and her head was pounding, hot tears poured out of her eyes as she felt so weak, she tried to sit up and that was when her parents noticed her.


    Immediately they found out the bastard was behind it, he was kidnapped and kept in their custody surprisingly he escaped, they were trying to locate him but now that she was awake, they had to stop but that didn''t mean they would let him go.


    "Mei Ling" they all stood up and ran to her including Ai Bao.


    "Water, I need water" she croaked out as they helped her sit up, her mother wiped her tears and ran out to get the water, immediately Ai Bao sat down and grabbed her hand.

He stammered but when he saw the amount of emotions in her eyes he couldn''t speak "I''ll go get her now" he left and then her mother arrived watching him leave with a slouched back, she eyed Mei shufen but he just shook his head indicating he didn''t know why!


    After drinking the water the doctor came back for another test and then she slept back.


    Later that day Ai Bao came back with the secretary, Mei Ling sat up and looked at her, the secretary''s lip''s was swollen there bruises on her arms and legs.


    "Who did this? How did this......are you crazy? Did I ask you to do anything? Did I report her? What gave you the right to do this? Fine you kept her locked up but torturing her was just too much" she screamed, she knew that she was overreacting but if she wanted him to stay away that was the best way to handle it.


    What was he going to gain from an abused woman anyway? She was dirty and used, nothing more.

    "I said out!" He nodded as he felt a prick in his chest why was she doing this? It would affect her health if she shouted that much so he decided to leave.


    "Miss Mei..." Mei Ling''s head snapped to her and she mustered a smile.


    "Are you alright? Was he too harsh on you? "Secretary Go immediately shook her head infact she felt like she deserved it what is a secretary that can''t do her job right?


    "No it''s my fault I should have checked the office before you went in for that I am deeply sorry" Mei Ling rolled her eyes.


    "If anyone should be blamed it''s the security not you, fine go get treated tell the doctor it''s from me and then I want you to oversee my things being moved from his house" secretary Go''s eyed widened.


    "Miss Mei, you don''t need to do this, Mr Lee loves you so much that''s why he did this he was absolutely crazy when you refused to wake up please don''t...." Mei Ling felt suffocated it''s not like she could agree, if she didn''t do this Li jie was going to hurt her family and him, she didn''t want that.


    "Just do what I say, you may leave!" She dismissed her and laid back while covering up, when she was sure that the room was empty , she started sobbing.

    Of course her family would try to fight but when the Li family threatened them and paid them off it was enough to keep them quiet, the parents never once used the money so that meant they still had a grudge against the Li family but they weren''t powerful enough to fight them.


    Just like that the third son started having a fetish with **** and killing which meant none of his victims escaped alive and each time the family covered it up, once he did the same to a powerful family their daughter was lucky enough to escape because her guards found her early with a syringe stuck in her arm.

    As expected the door slid open and Li jie walked in with a sinister smile on his face, she became tense immediately and scooted backwards when her eyes caught the syringe filled with coke that he was busy playing with on his right hand.


    "Oh, you''re awake, that''s a relief come let''s go to the room" he smiled and stretched forth his hand for her to take but she pulled away.


    He frowned not appreciating the way she pulled away from him, he walked towards her and when he was about grabbing her she screamed and drove the pin into his chest but it was the wrong side, her eyes widened realizing she just lost her chance.


    He chuckled darkly and took out the pin that was followed by small drops if blood, when she thought he was distracted she moved to the other side tears coating her eyes.


    "Pick one my love, you follow me willingly or that fetus inside you will die because you ingested coke?" Shock was evident on her face as her hand flew protectively towards her stomach, was she pregnant? But how did he know?


    It was then she realized he was trying to trick her but thinking of it, since she met Ai Bao after Their first time they started having unprotected sex, but if she was pregnant the doctor would have detected it.

    He lifted her up and placed her in the bed before taking off her clothes leaving her in just her bra and shorts,then he took one of her hands and locked the cuff around it and then he did the same to the other repeating the action with her leg keeping her spread out flat on the bed, restrained.


    Meanwhile, Lee Ai Bao was going ballistic it had been five good hours and yet they hadn''t found her, if the police couldn''t find her at least his men should be able to but all of them were fucking useless.


    He was so crazy that all he saw was red that he lashed out on his mother who had said he should calm down because he was breaking things down, he had seen the look of hurt on his mother''s face but he just couldn''t take it .


    On top of that the doctor had called to inform him that she was pregnant with their child,how could he not lose it? If anything happened to the two of them he''d rather die but he''d have to kill that bastard first.

    Four days had passed and Mei Ling was still not found, Lee Ai Bao was slowly loosing his sanity.


    He couldn''t bare the fact that his woman and unborn child were missing and he couldn''t even pin point where they were, earlier that day Lu Yang had screamed at him and even hit him stating that if he had been half the man he claimed to be Li jie would have long disappeared and this wouldn''t have happened.


    Ai Bao looked so lost, his shirt was half tucked in with another part hanging out,his shoe was dusty from running around dangerous places to find her, he was stinking as he had refused to bathe,brush or even eat, the blood Lu Yang had drawn after hitting him was dried up and his eyes were red from crying a lot.


    He had sent everybody away because he was slowly losing his sanity and he was busy hurting everybody with his words.


    He believed that it was really his fault, he had thought that Mei Ling would want to take her revenge herself and so he didn''t want to interfere but if he had interfered and dealt with the consequences then this wouldn''t have happened at all.


    Secretary Zhang felt really bad for his friend and so he kept investigating even when Ai Bao had said he should stay away that''s when he realized there was a place they hadn''t checked in the past few days, he investigated and realized there was movement in the house immediately he ran to Ai Bao panting.


    "What are you doing here? Leave before I hurt you like everybody else!" Ai Bao croaked out and Zhang wei shook his head before lifting his friend up.


    "Will you get your ass up and save your woman?" Immediately his eyes shot up to Mr Zhang.


    "Did you find her?" He stood up immediately and grabbed his keys without even thinking.


    "We didn''t check one place and that was his house I am certain she is there, I''ll call the police and then we can........"before completing his sentence Lee Ai Bao had run out driving recklessly.


    Mr Zhang shook his head and called the police.


    Meanwhile, Mei Ling looked lost too just as she had expected he had been injecting her with cocaine two days later she started bleeding and she was in great pain but that didn''t seem to be Li jie problem.


    Infact he had claimed that was his aim till she lost the child he wouldn''t do a thing, Mei Ling had gotten so used to the pain that she didn''t feel it anymore.


    She kept hoping that Ai Bao would find her, she should have taken care of Li jie earlier and this wouldn''t have happened.


    She was already so weak from losing too much blood, her body was now getting used to the drug he had been injecting her with coupled with the fact that she refused to eat anything since she got there it wouldn''t be long till she passed out again and maybe she wouldn''t wake up this time.


    He had just given her another shot before leaving and slowly her vision was getting blurry, so this was how she was going to die!


    Well she deserved it that''s what she told herself, if she hadn''t been naive and just stayed away, if she had listened to Lu Yang and stayed away none of this would have happened.


    That''s when she heard a gunshot before somebody screamed her name she tried to stay awake but it was getting really hard.


    Ai Bao was screaming her name as the police had detained Li jie who was bleeding out from the gunshot and he was glad that he pulled the trigger.


    He saw a room and ran in but what he saw shocked him, Mei Ling managed to see the blurry form of Lee Ai Bao.


    "Ai Bao" her voice came out barely a whisper but it was enough for Lee Ai Bao to break out of his trance,his eyes fell on Mei Ling who was struggling to stay awake,he found her she couldn''t die yet,not now.


    "Mei Ling!" He screamed and ran to her as he tears gushed out,she was bleeding badly and there was sign of dried up blood he picked her up immediately and ran out.


    She couldn''t die! She mustn''t die! Not now, not ever!

 Chapter 41 - 40

    It took them nearly twenty four hours to flush out the drug from Mei Ling''s system.


    Everybody was anxious hoping she was going to be okay and the baby would be ok too, finally the light went off indicating that surgery was over, immediately Ai Bao stood up and ran to the doctor.


    "How is she? The baby? Will they be fine?"he anxiously asked while his father kept patting his back to calm him down.


    "We were able to flush out the drug but unfortunately we lost the baby I''m sorry" he did a short bow and Ai Bao collapsed on the floor.


    His first child was gone because of that bastard, he lost his first child because of that bastard but it was all his fault,no?


    If he had taken care of the bastard immediately he learnt about him this never would have happened but it did and it was all his fault.


    But then he was relieved, nothing happened to her and obviously he didn''t touch her so she was okay but he felt extremely bad that his child had to pay the price.


    After not functioning for four days straight Lee Ai Bao collapsed,he was immediately taken to the room as they knew he would like to stay near Mei Ling.


    Mei Ling woke up before Lee Ai Bao but her parents were asleep as it was late in the night, she felt so tired and weak then when she turned her eyes fell on Ai Bao who was asleep in a hospital gown.


    The dark circles under his eyes were proof enough that he hadn''t slept since a long time, he looked leaner and his hair was messy, she felt relieved to see him infact within those four days she had realized how big of a fool she was for leaving him all because she was scared and now she made him suffer.


    Would he still love her after what he had seen? Would he still want her now that he knows she was truly broken?


    She wiped the tears that had dropped and forced herself to stand up, before he''d decide to end things she''d love to hold his face one more time.


    She laid beside him and watched him sleep, raising her hand she removed his hair from his face tracing the outline of his face with her index finger.


    Then she took her index and middle finger placing it on her lips she took it and placed it on his forehead,her parents woke up and saw this scene so they quietly left, deciding to get food and then cleaned up.


    Mei Ling sighed and retracted her hand but Ai Bao caught it and hugged her.


    "I''m sorry, I''m really really sorry I couldn''t protect you or our.......I''m sorry" he stopped talking not wanting to give her the bad news of loosing her child.


    "He died didn''t he?" Ai Bao''s eyes widened as he stared at her, how did she know she was pregnant?


    "He told me, that''s why he kept drugging me to kill the child,my baby died didn''t he?" He stared at her trying to understand how she was feeling before he nodded.


    All she did was smile, before her tears started gushing out, he cried with her too holding and hugging her.


    "I''m sorry, I''m so so sorry,I should have dealt with him immediately but I didn''t and this is my fault it is my fault,I''m sorry" he kept apologising but she just kept crying and hugging him.


    After crying for a long time they stopped.


    "It''s not your fault, don''t try to hurt yourself for something you didn''t know would happen, infact it was my fault for being so naive"


    He shook his head and held her.


    "Still I''m sorry" she smiled.


    "Relax besides we can still make another one I trust........" She stopped when she realized where she was sailing to.


    "You''re not having weird thoughts about me leaving you now are you?" She bit her lip and he chuckled wiping the tears on her face and pulling out her bottom lip.


    "Why would I leave you infact I should be the one hoping you wouldn''t leave me, besides you owe me" she smiled and pecked his lips.


    "I love you!" He nodded.


    "You have no choice"they chuckled and he held her tight.

    Weeks later Mei Ling was discharged after her parents finally helped her in threatening Ai Bao to let her leave.


    The pain of losing her child was still there on her face but there was nothing she could do about it, Ai Bao knew how she was feeling but he didn''t like talking about it so he just kept quiet and silently consoled her.


    Sometimes she would absent mindedly clutch her stomach that was now pushing out from eating too much, he regretted letting her leave his house so much but he had come to accept that not everything can be stopped no matter how powerful you are.


    He packed her bags while she went down to the hospital cafeteria for some reason she liked the doughnuts they gave there which tasted bland to any other person he knew.


    He was afraid he was going to have to make the hospital send and some everyday not that he was going to mind though,he was ready to do anything for his woman.


    His phone rang and he frowned wondering why his secretary had been calling him, he picked it up ready to scold Mr Zhang but the secretary already beat him to it.


    "Ai Bao don''t leave the hospital room yet, someone tipped off the reporters and they''ve been camping out since the nurses refused to disclose your room number"


    "What! And you''re just telling me now?" He barked as he ran down to find Mei Ling those reporters were devilish especially when it came to finding news about the Lee family, they would do anything.


    Meanwhile, Mei Ling who had been acting like a glutton lately had gotten as much donuts as she could while stuffing her mouth with some all if a sudden she was surrounded by reporters and her eyes widened.


    They were indeed glad that Lee Ai Bao wasn''t with her ,does that mean their source was right when they said she seduced Ai Bao?


    Soon they started throwing indecent questions at her and calling her names, having never been the center of attraction before because she always avoided it, Mei Ling was confused and didn''t know what to do, right now she was too weak to even fight against them.


    While pushing to get answers Mei Ling had fell on the floor but none of them lent a hand and instead kept throwing hurtful questions at her.


    Suddenly the room became chilly and everything froze, Lee Ai Bao had seen the man who pushed Mei Ling the unsuspecting reporters kept throwing questions at Mei Ling while she paid no attention and tried to massage her leg, why do things keep happening to her when she''s out of the hospital it was getting so annoying.


    Ai Bao grabbed the unsuspecting man and the reporters stopped what they were doing of course anyone smart would think about running but burly men had arrived blocking the whole entrance, the reporters were trembling in fear when they saw how Ai Bao pummeled the man who had pushed Mei Ling to the floor.


    "Ai Bao!" The soft sound of his name was enough to make him stop seeing red, as he dropped the man and stepped in his feet so that he could experience the pain he put his woman through, How dare they!


    The reporters were nearly shitting their pants when they saw how caring he was to Mei Ling, what Mei Ling.....a slut? Impossible.


    Infact it looked like Ai Bao was forcing his feelings on her, curse that stupid Zhen haoran.


    Lee Ai Bao picked her up acting like nobody was there because he definitely didn''t see them as anybody, after massaging her feet he stood up and carried her bridal style before glaring at every reporter there and the man that had pushed Mei Ling down.


    The man had already wet himself making Mei Ling laugh at their misery before scrunching up her nose in disgust when the stench of the urine hit her nose.


    Ai Bao was so pissed that he did not find any of it amusing and was planning out how to punish his woman for laughing while he was pissed.


    He pointed at his head bodyguard, the man was a black and was very tall infact he was slightly taller than Ai Bao, he was handsome with shirt hair and red lips, his chest was thick and he was extra large so large that if you placed Mei Ling next to him,coupled with her height she''d seem like his daughter.


    When this man moved closer to a reporter, the reporter nearly fainted as he wet himself and Mei Ling couldn''t contain her laughter, seems like her man had a specialty in making people wet their pants.


    Well if it were her at the receiving end if the man''s wrath she''d faint, the man was indeed scary.


    "Get down the names of their agency I want all of them closed down in three hours" dread filled their faces as they heard him, immediately they laid face down in the floor.


    "Please show us mercy we have families to feed we won''t do this again" they changed together willing to play the family card, surely if he was so caring towards her that means he wasn''t as cruel as people said, no?


    "You dared to slander my woman and even hurt her in the process and you think I''d be so forgiving?" His voice thundered in the cafeteria and every body went silent,they realized their only saving grace was Mei Ling.


    "We''re sorry Miss Mei it was a big mistake in our part" she smirked who knew after speaking so much filthy things about her they''d be begging her for forgiveness, dream on!


    "I want them closed in two hours I don''t care how just do it" the reporters were shocked neither would they have expected her to conclude like that, their lives were over for messing with the wrong people.


    What did they even expect, without Ai Bao Mei Ling was powerful enough to make their family wiped out of the face of the earth and yet they dared hurt her for how much, weren''t they stupid!


    The guards rounded them up and started collecting their names and just like that over thirty broadcasting stations closed down, of course the ones smart enough to know that with Lee Ai Bao out of the picture if they did anything it would be over for them were rejoicing that they chose wisely and instead new articles came out stating that Mei Ling was engaged to Lee Ai Bao.


    Seeing this, Zhen haoran was seething with rage if Mei Ling was not going to leave Ai Bao she was going to have to teach her a lesson, with that she stormed out of her room.

    Zhen haoran walked down the cold alley looking around to make sure no one was following her before she stopped in front of a door Making sure she wasn''t being followed,then she pulled the door and walked in looking around before closing it again.


    Unknowingly to her Lee Ai Bao''s men were trailing her immediately they found out that she was the one that brought up the rumors.


    The man, Xuan hong following her immediately recognized the place as one of their bases led by the lady boss, Mei Ling herself; it was then obvious that Zhen haoran didn''t know who ran it he chuckled darkly and called the lady boss....This Zhen haoran was indeed stupid.


    Mei Ling had just found out from Madam Lee that Lee Ai Bao''s birthday Was in two days and she was glaring at Lee Ai Bao who was getting uncomfortable as she had glaring at him since his mother left, what did his mother say this time!


    She was pissed that he claimed to love her and didn''t let her know his birthday was close by then again she didn''t make an attempt to know either.


    She suddenly chuckled realizing that it was just two months since they met and so much had already happened.


    If anyone heard Lee Ai Bao confessing his love to her after just meeting within a short period, they would describe it as an overbearing love.


    It was one thing for you to know you''re attracted to someone and it was another thing to admit and show it immediately you reach that understanding.


    Only people with mature minds could do that, what was the point of prolonging your heart needs when you knew it was going to win over you in the end, that was just stupid.

But then there was the matter of being in love with your soul mate and so when you meet no matter the circumstances you meet in your soul immediately recognizes it''s mate.


    So the theory of falling in love in just five minutes was through and she wasn''t going to deny not loving him but then looking at their relationship so far she had been the one holding back it explained why she didn''t even know his birth date, the poor guy wanted her to want to know more about him herself.


    She was no longer glaring at him but studying his features, he was currently shirtless as he liked being that way around her and when she asked he''ll say "I want to torture you with my body knowing fully well you can''t have it!" Immediately she started glaring at him again silently cussing at him.


    The doctor said she needed rest and so for the past few days he had denied her sex and also he made sure she closed once it was lunch and then he handled every other thing she couldn''t, it was slowly getting annoying but she knew he was just looking out for her and so she relaxed.


    The relationship wouldn''t be perfect if they never argued or if they didn''t learn to accept their selves the way they are.


    Soon she started smiling sweetly and Ai Bao who had been occasionally glancing at her was starting to get scared with the way her mood was changing.


    At some point she''d be glaring, smiling sweetly at him, her eyes would be filled with desire, she would look like she was going to cry and then it started all over from the beginning, he had to admit his woman has the cutest mood swings but it scares him and he wanted to know what she was thinking to make her mood switch like that.


    The last straw was when she started chuckling making him slam the document he was holding close.


    "Hey, Mei Ling what the fuck is running through your head? Why the sudden mood swings?"


    "Nothing I was just thinking" he gave her a dead panned look and she smiled at him mischievously, immediately that hair on his back raised.


    If he said he wasn''t scared of his woman when she was up to no good,he was lying, if he feared his woman when she was being mischievous how much more those idiots that her mischief was directed to, he involuntarily shuddered remembering her victims.


    Li jie was in huge trouble by the time she got her hands on him.


    They finally snapped of their thoughts when Mei Ling''s phone rang, Ai Bao stared at the caller and made a mental note to deal with him for disturbing his wife, didn''t he ask for him to report back to him instead, this Xuan hong!


    "Hello? Hong?" Her voice was sweet and soft why was she sounding so Sweet to her right hand man, he narrowed his eyes at her not hiding his displeasure.


    She kicked off the papers on his lap and listened to Xuan hong on the other end of the phone, she smirked and raised her leg indicating that he should massage it.


    He gladly did it Happy that his wife was bullying him, he knew that was her way if punishing him for obstructing her work but he loved this punishment so much. Happily he started massaging her feet and stopped when he heard her loud laughter.


    Her eyes curved into crescents, she didn''t have wide or large lips so when she laughed her lips formed a cute line coupled with her dimples, the light was reflecting on her brown skin giving her that angelic glow, this sight made his heart thud in his chest, was she planning to kill him?


    "Fine then, find out who she meets i know my men wouldn''t betray so just let it be and wait for my orders!" Her voice was thick with authority in contrast to her sweet tiny voice he watched the way her lips moved and then he imagined what they would feel like wrapped............


    "Why were you laughing with another man?" He questioned immediately the call ended.


    "This Zhen haoran is going to end up dead and I''m going to be the one killing her!"

    In Hangzhou international airport, Lu Yang had just alighted his private jet and was currently walking towards his car.


    It had been a month since he left to Seoul, south korea to shoot a movie and finally he was back.


    He had been angry when he called Mei Ling and she refused to pick up,he got even angrier after three days of his departure and she still refused to call. It wasn''t until few days ago when his phone rang and she explained that she was kidnapped.


    He immediately finished up his scenes and left as soon as he could, his manager felt helpless looking at his talent that was hopelessly in love with someone that didn''t treat him anything less than a brother.


    When he got to Ai Bao''s house he ran out and knocked anxiously he wasn''t going to relax until he saw that she was really okay, he knew very well how Mei Ling tended to bottle up her feelings and then lie that she was ok when in actual sense she wasn''t.


    Fortunately, Mei Ling had gotten home by the time it was time for her lunch break because Lee Ai Bao wouldn''t let her stay longer than that, she was currently plotting how to silently execute Zhen haoran without drawing attention to herself when Lu Yang ran in panting.


    "Mei mei!" There was only one person who dared to use her surname as her nickname so immediately she looked at him with a wide smile on her face before standing up and hugging him like a spider , he chuckled and patted her hair.


    "I missed you so much, how could you leave without informing me?" She asked pinching him slightly, his heart felt warm as she showed her care this made him hug her tighter as he inhaled the scent of her with a sigh.


    He missed that scent so much!


    "Are you really okay? That bastard did not harm you in anyway, right?" He asked immediately her feet touched the ground, he was turning her around making sure there was nothing.


    At that moment Mei Ling''s suspicion piqued again, the look in his eyes was so intense that when he glanced at her, she had to look away.


    "He didn''t harm me but he harmed my baby!" She muttered loud enough for him to hear, the death of her unborn child was still a sensitive topic for her as tears still formed in her eyes when she mentioned it.


    Meanwhile, Lu Yang felt like his heart was pulled out of his body and squeezed like a piece of paper before stepping on it like a piece of chewed gum.


    "Baby? You were pregnant? With his child? Lee Ai Bao!" He swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat but it just won''t leave, he felt suffocated.


    "Yeah, why do you sound so sad that I was pregnant?" He glanced at her as his heart squeezed again, why was love this cruel? No, why was she this cruel? Could she really not see him?


    He kept staring at her studying her features and instead of hating her he found himself falling again, her brows were knitted in confusion and there was a small pout which was obviously unintentional but all the same anyone would call her cute but she was hot and sexy.


    He swallowed as the word baby kept replaying in his head, his face turned pale and he started shaking since he was trying to hold back from lashing out at her.


    "Lu yang what''s wrong?" She asked when he stayed frozen for more than two minutes, she was the one that lost the baby why did he look like it was his child?


    "Don''t call me that" he suddenly yelled and she flinched stepping back from him as memories of what transpired between them in her office flashed between her mind.


    The way she called his name was trapping him further and he didn''t like that, if she was going to be with another man that meant he should give up too, no? But if she kept doing that isn''t it cruel to him and he was afraid he would do something he shouldn''t do, it was better to warn her off.


    But like a fool he didn''t like the way she flinched and attempted to step away from him, he wanted her close , he wanted her to want to be with him why was she running away? Why couldn''t she stay with him?


    "I''m sorry, I''m not in the right state of mind right now, I''ll call you" he stormed off immediately and drove as fast as he could to his house funny enough he got one close to hers because he didn''t want to spend a single second not knowing where she was or what she was up to.


    Immediately he got to his house,he collapsed in the floor and yelled placing his palm on his chest, it hurt so much it just hurt a lot!

    Lu yang clutched his chest as he drank cup after cup of red wine, his eyes were red and his cheeks were flushed nose included as the effects of the alcohol had started kicking in.


    His eyes fell on his reflection on the kitchen table and he chuckled, this kitchen was always so clean because nobody used it except her.


    He was handsome and he knew that, so handsome that unlike most male celebrities he never used makeup to enhance his features the only thing you could call makeup on him was powder and that was it.


    But why did she never see him, Was he not handsome enough? Was he not good enough? Just why did she not see him?


    At this thought he grew angry and threw the wine bottle against the wall before collapsing on the floor, tears flowed out of his eyes as he felt weak and useless, what was so bad about him that she didn''t even want him?


    Dragging himself to the fridge, he grabbed another bottle of wine and drank directly from it instead of using a cup.


    Another bottle of wine later he smiled he didn''t care how he sounded but he was glad she lost the baby as long as it wasn''t his(Lu Yang) Baby and she kept losing it he was glad that she lost it.


    To him the only baby she should have would be his and nobody else so until then she had keep losing those babies as long as it wasn''t his, at the thought of this he laughed hard while crying at the same time.


    Love made one monster and he was in the process of becoming one himself.


    Who was he kidding? Give up? No way he definitely wasn''t going to as long as she didn''t reject him he wasn''t going to give up,he was going to keep loving her even when she says he should stop.


    He would keep being nice to her so nice that she wouldn''t have a choice but to be with him and with that he blacked out with a friend and pained smile on his face.


    Meanwhile, Mei Ling was anxious what if something happened to Lu Yang? Why wasn''t he picking up her calls?


    Lee Ai Bao helplessly watched his woman worrying about another man he was jealous,yes but he wasn''t going to tell her that. He knew that he was overly possessive but he just couldn''t help it.


    For the first time in his life there was something or rather someone that he so much desired how the hell was he supposed to behave.


    He had lived a sheltered life that anything he so much as gave a glance became his and eventually he started not wanting anything again until he met her and when he did he wanted to keep her at all cost.


    Looking at her caring for another man especially one that was in love with her was making him super jealous but he couldn''t say that to her.


    He kept staring at her and he felt his heart slowly melt, she looked so beautiful when she was worried, her brows were knitted together and she had sucked on her bottom lip while squinting her eyes , she frowned at him when he kept staring and this made him blush looking away.


    He looked back when he heard her soft chuckle, staring at her with love struck eyes he wondered how someone could be so beautiful, who said mixed children weren''t beautiful!...he muttered.


    "What are you staring at?" She asked amusement spelled out in her face.


    "Why the fuck are you so beautiful? It''s killing me!" He groaned and whined at the same time which made her chuckle.

    " Oh not yet!" He muttered while prying her feet off his lap, his statement made her frown and now he was taking her feet off his lap, this had definitely annoyed her.


    "So you plan on seeing beautiful women!" She glared at him and nearly stood up but he pushed her down as fast as he hovered over her.


    " Of course" he said pecking her lips while she pursed it feigning annoyance since she felt he was just joking around!


    "Go kiss the beautiful women then!" She said jokingly flaring her nose and he chuckled.


    "Won''t it be weird to kiss our own daughter?" She stared at him and blushed after registering what he said and then she stopped smiling seeming to be in deep thought, he swallowed knowing exactly what she was thinking about.


    "Don''t think about it Mei Ling please!" She nodded and he kissed her, till she could no longer breathe!

 Chapter 46 - 45

    Lee Ai Bao shamelessly teased Mei Ling and she responded with equal fervor.


    He had just laid her on the bed ready to gobble her up when the phone in the pocket of her shorts rang, he groaned angrily and moved to turn it off but the little woman pushed him off and then picked it.


    As soon as she did regret filled her features as she pulled the phone far away from her ear and massaged her temples. This man was old but his voice was louder and sharper than that of a youth.


    "Hey you punk! Where have you been?" The man on the phone was none other than Grandpa Mei, her father''s - father. Grandpa Mei is a cute little old man at least according to Mei Ling, infact she was the only one allowed to call him cute because out of all his grand children he doted on her the most, so much that it made his sons jealous.


    Grandma Mei had died at the age of fifty leaving him with two capable sons and one liability. Well, she had given birth to just two sons for him and the other one came from a mistress who had tried to get into the Mei family severally but had been chased away by Mei Ling, that was one of the reasons he doted on her so much besides among all his grandchildren she was the most capable.


    Her First uncle, Mei Shubao was married happily with two sons, he was the eldest and should have been the heir but the man strongly believed that family shouldn''t fight for inheritance and so before the fight began he had willingly stepped down; his sons had their own companies or career paths they chose and all of them were content with it, so one could say they had been brought up with the same mentality as their father.


    Her second uncle; the '' liability'', was the exact definition of his nickname a liability all he ever did was go around with women, take drugs and mix with the wrong people, Mei Ling felt that he was carrying around an air of arrogance that he didn''t deserve to have which was absolutely true.


    Of course after her First uncle had stepped down the next person was her father and he did get to rule the family and then took it to greater heights, but Mei Huang (her second uncle) didn''t want that as he believed he was more than capable to handle the company, In fact Grandpa Mei had gotten so frustrated that he decided to give him a subsidiary to handle and as you''d guess the place almost went bankrupt in less than a month, it had almost even affected Mei group so involuntarily he stepped down but that didn''t mean he didn''t try to cause trouble for them.


    The man was lucky enough to have a woman who was upright and believed the world could become a better place infact she was a strong christian and had only ended up with the liability after being sold off by her family, that didn''t mean her children were any better. They had twin girls who always seized an opportunity to harass Mei Ling which never ends well because in the end they always got scolded not only by Grandpa Mei but also Mei Ling herself as she''d always find a way to cut off their allowances for a month.


    "Cute Grandpa!" She said acting coy as if the man could see it, she leaned against Lee Ai Bao and used her hand to move round his exposed chest, immediately the man''s breathing quickened.


    As his dark eyes flickered to the little woman smirking teasingly at him, she knew exactly what she was doing and he wasn''t going to stop her because now he had a reason to torture her and not get scolded.


    If Mei Ling knew what the man was thinking she''d probably vomit blood from his shamelessness,this made him chuckle in delight as he relished the idea of eating her up as soon as the call ended.


    But Grandpa had heard the chuckle of the man and he frowned in jealousy, so it was true that a man from the Lee family was wooing his little punk.


    "Hey is that rascal by your side right now? By this time?"


    "Of course,where else should my man be?" Grandpa Mei grumbled in jealousy, this man had come to rub him of his little punks attention, see now she was even defending him.


    "I''m back in Hangzhou, I want you to bring that man home tomorrow for the family dinner okay?" Mei Ling groaned and Lee Ai Bao pulled her closer with a thrilled expression, he wanted to meet the man that was so against his relationship with Mei Ling.


    "Can I refuse not to go?" Family dinner meant everybody was going to be there and she definitely didn''t want to meet those two tramps that called themselves twins.


    "No! If you don''t come I''d starve myself till I do and I won''t take my drugs too then I''d start smoking and drinking on an empty stomach!" It wasn''t a threat,the man was really going to do it, she glared at her phone resentfully and proceeded to pinch Lee Ai Bao in an attempt to cool off, if that man said he was going to do something he really was going to do it even if it meant he''d die in the end.


    The only threat he wouldn''t fulfill was killing himself but any other one was true, one time he had even shaved off his head and gone to hide in Shanghai temple just because she refused to see him after he had threatened Li Jie, it was then she realized he had been protecting her because he had seen what she didn''t see.


    "Ok I''ve heard you I''d be there so you better eat okay?!" Grandpa Mei smiled, his little punk still cared about him.


    "Fine goodnight I''ll hang up now!" He said and immediately hung up the phone as he called the butler, he had to look cute for his little punk tomorrow, at least he was a man of his words.

    The next day after having a hectic day at work, Mei Ling skipped outside giving the workers a scare such that they all gathered at the entrance until they saw her run and hug Lee Ai Bao who happily hugged her back.


    He gripped her waist hard and kissed her hard almost not letting her go, assistant zhang could only glare at them resentfully.


    They got into the car and proceeded to go home to change.


    "What gifts did you get for Grandpa?"


    "You''d know when we get there!" She glared at him trying to guess what he got for him.


    At exactly 6:00pm they arrived at the Mei ancestral home where Grandpa Mei was standing excitedly waiting for Mei Ling,he hadn''t seen his punk in a while.


    Since Grandpa Mei had refused to go in to wait, automatically the rest of the family had to stand along with him, Mei Ling had seen him from the window and was already glaring daggers at the maids; why did they let him stay out in this cold?


    Lee Ai Bao got down first and Grandpa Mei''s expression changed as he watched Lee Ai Bao with narrowed eyes, Mei Shubao smiled happily, at least his niece was getting married soon she indeed deserved happiness.


    Soon enough Mei Ling came down and her eyes fell on the displeased Mei Huang and she smirked before glancing at the maids who had their heads bowed in fright, the young miss was surely not going to let them off.


    "I would like to know why this old man is out here in the cold? By this time?" Her voice was calm but it was enough to send chills down their back. Grandpa Mei felt warmth feel his heart, nobody cares for him more than his little punk this had him nodding in satisfaction.


    "Young miss we tried to send him back but he refused!" One of the maid''s exclaimed, she felt like she had used all the blood in her body to say that sentence.


    Grandpa Mei glared at her and she prayed the ground would swallow her as Mei Lings gaze shifted to her grandfather who immediately tried to act coy.


    "Little punk!" He called out sweetly and she rolled her eyes causing Mei Shubao to chuckle, Mei Ling squealed and hugged her first uncle who patted her on the back.


    Immediately the hair on Mei Shubao''s neck stood still as he felt a chill he looked around and his eyes fell on Lee Ai Bao and Grandpa Mei, he stuck out his tongue in an attempt to tease then before he laughed.


    "I''m afraid I can''t hug you anymore some people wish me dead!"she chuckled and let go.


    "Umm where is......"


    "You know your second aunt she forced the women to the kitchen your cousins went on a buisness trip they sent their gifts!" She smiled and went to Grandpa Mei who was having a staring contest with Lee Ai Bao.


    She hugged his arm and started pulling him inside whining about how cold it was, while she kept rambling Grandpa Mei turned around and pulled out his tongue mocking Lee Ai Bao who just scoffed at him.


    Her smile dropped when she saw the irritating twins Mei ju and Mei Daiyu, she smiled sweetly at them while they glared at her.


    "How have you been faring the last month?" It was mockery because she had cut down their allowances from three million yuan to a hundred yuan every month, they obviously could not live like they used to because of the reduction in their allowance.


    "You witch!" Mei ju roared, both of them were dumb but Mei ju was the dumbest! A smile bloomed on her face seeing them getting all riled up and they couldn''t do anything about it because provoking her only means they''d never get back their allowance.


    Both of them gasped as soon as they saw Lee Ai Bao behind them and then they both started acting coy.


    "Babe what are you doing standing there?" They stopped what they were doing immediately they saw him smile at Mei Ling.


    "I''m waiting for the gifts to come in!" She smiled and one by one the maids brought in the gifts, Mei Ling instantly felt dumped when her grandfather left her and went to the PINNER QING DYNASTY VASE, they were carrying in.


    "Shubao come see what my grandson in law got for me, are your in laws this capable?" He said smiling at the expensive antique, it was not something anybody could easily get.


    "Cute Grandpa aren''t you being black bellied? You had been calling him a rascal up till a moment ago!"


    "Father may dote on you but that doesn''t mean you should disrespect him , he''s your grandfather!" Mei Huang called her out.


    "It''d be better if you don''t talk to my wife like that!" Lee Ai Bao''s cold voice rang out as he glared at the infuriating man.


    "What wife? You''re not even married! Besides don''t you think you should show me respect I can decide your marriage!" Mei Ling sneered.


    "Since when did you decide my matters, I''d like to have dinner in peace today so please let''s respect ourselves!" He glared at her and she smiled at him sweetly before moving towards the dining room where she greeted everybody and sat down.


    Mei Daiyu had tried to make Lee Ai Bao sit close to her which earned a glare from Mei Ling.


    "It''d be better you don''t touch my man miss Daiyu,it won''t end well!" She smiled and he patted her head indulgently.


    Soon everyone started eating, Mei Daiyu and Mei Ju glared at Mei Ling each time Lee Ai Bao put food on her plate.


    "Little punk, why did you cut your cousins allowance?"


    "What cousin? They have their own companies and don''t receive allowance!" Grandpa Mei was speechless as he stared at Mei Ling who was being pampered.


    "Are you denying relations with me?"


    "You can think what you want!" She smiled and Lee Ai Bao chuckled patting her head, it was obvious what he meant!


    "Little punk you can''t do that to your cousin sisters!"


    "I can''t work day and night for somebody to spend so recklessly,if they can''t work in the company then they should make do with the allowance I can give them, don''t you think so?" Grandpa Mei glared at her for turning it back to him.


    "You''ve heard her, besides how old are you guys still staying at home and not working you must contribute to the family so if you want your allowance back meet Mei Ling she''d give you a suitable job at the company!"

 Chapter 48 - Im Sorry

    I know I deserve the worst and curses I completely understand and I''m deeply truly very sorry for going off and not communicating with you guys.


    The education system in my country could literally make one run mad just glad I''m able to talk to you guys again.
