《The Only Daughter of the Tyrant》 Chapter 1 ¡°Your Royal Highness. You can¡¯t be here. Then, Her Majesty the Princess keeps opening her eyes out of curiosity and looking upwards. Would that hurt your eyes or not? Is it good that her Majesty is sick?¡± A strange woman¡¯s voice was heard. She seemed like an old woman. The sound was so vivid right next to me that I opened my eyes. ¡°No. Absolutely not. Go away. Adele, are you the only one still in a good position?¡± ¡°No, I came first. I¡¯ve only had half the steak to see you here, but why would I leave?¡± I turned my head to the sound, wondering what it was. The first thing that came to me was a smell. A lovely baby smell. What is it? Is it¡? Where am I?¡¯ I tried to find out where I was. ¡°Ah. Our Stiana. Did you wake up to see your brother?¡± I could hear a cute voice, but I couldn¡¯t see a face even if I looked around. Then I turned my head some more and a child, who appeared three years old, was hanging from the bed, waving his arms. The fingers clasped to the railing were white. His face was smushed by the railing as he pushed his face closer to look at me through the railing beside the bed. Even though it wasn¡¯t, the face became more cute. But why is he so anxious to see me? ¡®Wait. Brother? That little thing is my Oppa? How small should I be for that?¡¯ I tried to jump to my feet, wondering what the situation was. However, my short, chubby arms were just struggling in the air. It clearly caught my attention. I could feel my eyes getting rounder and bigger. I could feel a cold sweat coming from my face. ¡®This is¡ what¡¯s going on?¡¯ Why is this white, small, soft, seemingly useless arm on me? What about this hand¡? How was I supposed to hold a sword with this? What¡¯s this? I couldn¡¯t shut my mouth and thought, as my back also started to sweat. It wasn¡¯t like this a little while ago. This had to be a dream. I¡¯m sure it was, and it must be a terrible one. I shook my head and closed my eyes. I don¡¯t know why I closed my eyes thinking that I should wake up, but the things that happened to me came back up like a dream. * ¡°This place is dangerous. Your Highness the Prince¡ If you go, even if it takes a little longer, it¡¯d be better to take a detour. It is said that new bandits have turned up around homes here. They are very cruel and are even said to eat human meat.¡± I was out of breath as I spoke while pointing at a location on a map placed atop a simple table. The last wounds I received had not yet healed, I thought I would have been able to get rid of this operation, but the prince refused. -It¡¯s weird like you¡¯re going out naked without Stiana around me. Stiana should always be by my side. Stiana is my sword and my extra life. He knew the power of his beautiful face, his pleasant voice, and his dangerous expression. -Stiana never refuses what I order. With her beautiful blue eyes wide open, speaking as if wetting a person¡¯s heart, his hand actually swept down the cheek of Eileen Young-ae sitting next to him. The prince had a deep look on his face when he heard what I had said. ¡°No. I¡¯m going here. The Prince of the Inver Kingdom isn¡¯t that cowardly. What would people think of me if I was rumored to have taken a detour because I was afraid of some bandits? Stiana wouldn¡¯t want me to be teased, would she? Let¡¯s clean them up and go. That¡¯ll do.¡± ¡°But Your Majesty.¡± My body is not in good condition. And not many of your knights can fight against them. I alone make up almost 80% of the entire power of the Knights, and the remaining thirty people will be in a hurry to protect your Majesty. That was what I had to say. But he wouldn¡¯t listen to me with his hands held up. ¡°This meeting is so boring. Eileen Young has waited too long.¡± As he spoke, Eileen Young-ae, who came forward as if she had waited for this moment, took his hand and shook her dazzling blonde hair with a smile on her face. ¡°Your Royal Highness is right. You don¡¯t have to avoid the bandits. They have to be the ones to get away.¡± ¡°Did you hear that, Stiana? Now you know what to do. If you know, hurry up and get ready to leave.¡± ¡°Your Royal Highness, but it matters. You¡¯ll suffer a great deal of damage. It¡¯s not cowardly to take a detour at times like this. You have to make a reasonable decision. Those who would scoff at us as cowards because we decided to bypass will be those who want us to die. Don¡¯t give them what they want. Your Highness.¡± If that was my own problem, I would have been able to bend over. But if I did not break his will, the prince¡¯s orders that would be given, then my men who would be pulled into the operation with me would not be able to guarantee their lives. Eileen Young-ae shouted furiously as soon as my words were over. ¡°That¡¯s very strange. Captain Stiana. Are you saying that because I want all the Royal Knights to die?¡± ¡®That¡¯s right. Eileen Young-ae That¡¯s what it means that you are the one who makes the Prince impulsive.¡¯ But that couldn¡¯t have been said. The prince consoled her. ¡°Don¡¯t be angry. Eileen Young. She¡¯ll listen to me. And I will destroy the bandits that the people fear. Stiana has never once let me down. You¡¯ll know why she¡¯s called the best prosecutor on the continent.¡± ¡°It¡¯s okay to be proud of her in front of me. If you look away, your Majesty the Prince doesn¡¯t even notice. What kind of woman would you like to say that to?¡± Eileen blushed angrily and poured out her complaints out rudely. Nevertheless, instead of blaming her, the prince smiled apologetically and tried to appease her. ¡°Don¡¯t hurt my heart with words like that knowing I didn¡¯t mean it. Eileen, Stiana is the best prosecutor, but she doesn¡¯t look like a woman to me. Stiana simply exists to save my life by throwing herself at a flying sword that comes my way.¡± ¡°That¡¯s right, Your Highness the Prince. But I felt bad because she kept crawling about without knowing the topic. You act like you¡¯re something big. How dare a person who only needs to fulfill their orders and sacrifice their life to Royalty question orders? How ridiculous you must have been to him.¡± ¡°You don¡¯t have to worry about that. Stiana should be repenting by now. After a few days, there will be a lot of rumors circulating that I had led my knights to slaughter the bandits. They¡¯re notorious bandits, so they¡¯d be worthy of my reputation.¡± He spoke as if I were not there. The prince looked at me with an uncomfortable look. It was because of me that caused an unnecessary disturbance. I seemed to think that. It didn¡¯t matter how he and Eileen Young-ae felt. I couldn¡¯t think of anything except that I had to change his will before his orders could be carried out. Even if they said more to me, I could bear it. If only I could do so and spare my men, and if only I could take back this preposterous order that would lead them all to annihilation. When I was about to speak again, Eileen Young-ae chimed in deftly. ¡°That¡¯s right, Your Highness Prince. You must shake off that bad reputation to raise your fame. If you succeed in this, people will find you even braver than the two golden wolves of the Eastern Empire.¡± Eileen surely knew just how to manipulate the prince. The same was true of how deep-rooted his inferiority he had with the twins of the Empire. The twin princes of the Eastern Empire seemed to be about the same age as him, and seemingly caused his inferiority complex to be more stimulated. A satisfied smile was built around the prince¡¯s mouth when he heard Young-ae¡¯s words. ¡°How long should the Kingdom of Amber stay in the continent? Why can¡¯t Your Highness be the best Prince? How can we do less than the Eastern Empire? Now show your power. If you defeat them, everyone will look back on your achievements. And they¡¯ll regret not recognizing you in the meantime. And I will be singing your praise, your Majesty.¡± ¡°Good. As expected, Eileen is wise. That¡¯s what I was also thinking about. Eileen is the only one who cares about me this much.¡± Eileen is saying so now, but no one has before compared the prince to them. They were said to have been as beautiful as the light of the sun and moon from birth, and they were also known for their resourcefulness and exceptional swordsmanship. Despite their modest age in their early twenties, their victories were numerous. Their father, Lint Dvorjan Marinehair, was called the ruler of the North, expanding his presence throughout the continent from his teenage years, creating the Eastern Empire on his own and expanding the region year after year. His cruel nature was so widely rumored that when he led the army, each of the provinces had lost their fighting spirit, they would come out with the key to the castle and lie on their stomach. I thought it would be nice if I could see them someday just because the two golden wolves were behind the leap that did not know his failure. When I heard that they had comforted their father, a mad tyrant, and saved their men¡¯s lives, I felt ashamed for no reason. It was because of the fact that they protected their subordinates by doing what I had wanted so much but couldn¡¯t. Ahhhhhh (insert puffy face here) I hate this prince and witch -.- I know for plot development we need them but grrr. However I¡¯ll be honest I picked this up to try TL just cuz of the super adorable pic and wow the more I TL the more I have fallen in love! I really hope you guys will enjoy this series as much as I am right now! Please let me know your thoughts so far. I really wish daddy will be Lint and she gets two amazing older bros but after the first part with a 3yo oppa idk >.< I can only find out in the coming chapters ahhhhh. Chapter 2 1 I envied their men. It was heartless to think that my men could have avoided this meaningless dog death if they had met someone who was better than me. My subordinates would have to prepare for battle according to my order, and they would also die by my order. And so long as I can¡¯t couldn¡¯t reverse the prince¡¯s orders, I had no choice but to deliver them. Have you ever felt so helpless in your life? I felt as if I had been besieged everywhere. ¡°Your Highness the Prince, please, do you really mean¡¡± ¡°Shut up. Stiana. Shut that mouth. Eileen says I can do it, but you¡¯ve been going against me to the end. Am I funny to you!¡± The prince shouted angrily. That¡¯s how the story always goes. ¡°No, Your Highness. I can¡¯t do that?¡± ¡°Get out. Get out there and get ready for battle. Bear in mind. You¡¯re my knight. You¡¯ve swore to protect myself all your life. You¡¯d better stay up all night. I¡¯m so glad the moon is bright today. There¡¯s no way we can march.¡± I didn¡¯t know what the benefits of night-time work were. Hiding a deep sigh to myself, I came out before him. It was only the noise I made that spread through the silent, still place. I thought these were places that I would never see again, so none of them just passed by. With all my doubts in mind, I went to the empty room. Being there for a while, blankly I gazed into the dark void. It was time to make a decision. I¡¯ve been putting it off for too long. At first, he wasn¡¯t like this either. He listened to me quite a bit and wanted to learn from me. -You think it¡¯s possible for me to be the strongest king on the continent, since Stiana is my knight? I¡¯ll be as strong as Stiana, so teach me. Don¡¯t give up even if I¡¯m slow. I¡¯ll do it properly till the end. -You can do the work of your Majesty. No one¡¯s sword will dare to turn towards your Majesty. Before Eileen had appeared and hooked him, though unhelpful, everything he had done did not put us in such danger. That was all I wanted him to do. -Your Prince is Stiana¡¯s subordinate? Why does the Prince listen to Stiana? The Royal Knights apparently belonged to Stiana. At this rate, isn¡¯t the throne going to be taken by Stiana instead of by your Majesty? Earl Umbert¡¯s foster daughter, Eileen, incessantly stimulated his inferiority complex and he was defenseless against it. She deftly distorted the truth. Only small parts of what Eileen would say were true. As she said though, the knights followed my words and obeyed my orders absolutely. They always carried out my operations perfectly and we shared the joy of victory together. At least this was not the case when the prince rejoiced with our victory together. But from some point on soon, he¡¯s no longer going to see us win and survive. It occurred to me that I didn¡¯t want that. When he made an unreasonable demand to march in the name of a tour and drove us into the enemy camp countless times, I lost over twenty or so men. And right now, I was just about to think that maybe he was trying to exterminate the rest of us left. Ever since I had become the commander of his knights, rumors have been rife that I might like him. But I have never once liked him. He didn¡¯t have any qualities or something else I could admire. The heart to sacrifice for his subordinates, the courage to make decisions even if he is cursed. What he could proclaim is his picture-like face and the status as a prince, but unfortunately, those things didn¡¯t have much effect on me. I was resentful, who had liked it that I had passed the entrance examination of the Royal Knights. I also felt sorry for myself, who was once delighted to be the commander of the Knights. Rather, if someone other than me had become the commander of the knights, my men would not have been driven to death so meaninglessly. My mouth is dry. I want to drink water, but it didn¡¯t seem like it was too soon. ¡®¡¡¯ I finished thinking by myself and took off my jacket. I unwound the bandages around my wounds several times, but the shirt was dry with blood. The dried-up blood looked like a monster sticking to my body. Scenes that I didn¡¯t want to think came to my mind. The appearance of my subordinates who were proud of me, cheering and rejoicing that they reached achievements and finally crossed the wall. They said they were really happy to meet the leader. Most of them have been together since the academy. Their names and faces were about to come to mind, so I shook my head like crazy. The majority had already died, and all those who were still alive would soon be placed on the list tomorrow morning. I tried to clench my teeth, tear off the bandage, and wrap my wounds with a new bandage. Even at dawn, I felt that I wasn¡¯t under pressure properly being alone. The bandage that was wrapped up fell to the floor and was released without help. ¡°Ugh!¡± As I bent over to pick up the bandage, the pain came on. It seemed that the wound had opened. I chewed my lower lip and spit out a short moan. Rather, I was quite grateful for such pain. I was glad to be distracted by it. When I picked up the bandage and wound it up again, the door opened and a stream of cold wind came in and I heard a thud. With only the sound of footsteps thumping could tell me who it was. He opened the door without knocking and took the bandage from my hand. ¡°Don¡¯t be foolish and call me to help do this. If not me, then there are a lot of other people who will do it gladly!¡± It was Ren, an out-of-control Thinking Man of the Knights, who shot out with an angry, blunt voice. From the moment he first came into view I looked around. He identified my meaning first and followed orders like my own alter ego. A bunch of out of control accidents. It certainly was, but now that word didn¡¯t apply to him. Even in the dark, his fair features and beautiful eyes did not lose their light. ¡°Done.¡± ¡°That¡¯s enough for me. Just stay still. ¡®Cause I¡¯m not here to steal a peek at you.¡± There was no time for bickering, no time for shame. He pressed and wrapped the wound appropriately and tied it to a knot. And he helped put a shirt on me. I tried to put my arm in, but I couldn¡¯t raise it properly. At the moment of pause he would have guessed my current condition. I pretended to be okay, clenched my teeth and raised my arms. ¡°While you¡¯re at it, please put on a jacket.¡± He buttoned up the shirt. ¡°You can¡¯t leave in this state. You won¡¯t even be able to lift the sword. Get out this time. You don¡¯t trust us?¡± ¡°Give me a jacket.¡± ¡°Commander!¡± ¡°Then you are complaining? Are you telling me to disobey the king¡¯s orders?¡± I glared at him fiercely as he held out the jacket and I put my arm in it. ¡°Ren. I believe you. Because I taught you myself.¡± The first meeting with him came to mind. If it weren¡¯t for me, the Academy¡¯s top spot would have been his. He stood up like a huge wall and ran on endlessly saying he didn¡¯t like me, and everytime he challenged me I accepted. And each time he was beaten to a mess and suffered innumerable sword strikes, yet he did not once give up. ¡°At that time, you. It was also difficult to watch.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t lie.¡± ¡°Ren. I trust myself, so I trust you. Come back safely and change my bandages in the evening. Please.¡± I tried to pat him on the shoulder pretending to be okay, but it would have been better not to. I frowned unconsciously because I was so sick from the little movement. It¡¯s me who¡¯s sick, but his forehead is wrinkled. ¡°Don¡¯t frown. You¡¯ll get wrinkles on your pretty face.¡± His fingers pressed my forehead, and he looked at me. ¡°I¡¯ll change it in the evening. Buy it. Definitely!¡± ¡°Of course. Even if everyone else dies, I will live.¡± He laughed playfully and poisoned his arms. ¡°Yes. Really. Please do so.¡± I don¡¯t think I will have any chance to talk about this later, but should I say it now? I¡¯ve had a lot to thank him for. However, after some hesitation, I just left the room. A long sigh followed behind me. From the moment I entered the Knights after becoming the prince¡¯s chosen, I was destined to receive the sword flying toward him with my body. It wasn¡¯t scary. Even if it doesn¡¯t mean anything, it was something that I alone decided. But Eileen was trying to endlessly endanger them for being my men. I couldn¡¯t let my men be driven to a cliffedge just because they met me. Who wants to die? Had there been another way, I would have found another way. But no matter how much I thought, there was only one thing I could do. ¡°The wind is cool.¡± Deliberately trying to show courage, I muttered to myself what no one else heard. After I settled my mind, I felt more comfortable. The time of fate was approaching silently. * As I headed to the barracks where I had ordered them to convene, I heard Eileen and the prince¡¯s laughter from the building where the prince was resting. There was also the sound of the guards that Eileen had brought with her were also noisy and drunk. They were celebrating prematurely. It occurred to me that perhaps they were celebrating my impending death, because it couldn¡¯t be our victory. Suddenly, my footsteps became heavier, and I forced myself forward. I walked cheerfully as if something was pleasing. This is only my burden to shoulder. I didn¡¯t mean to share it with others. * My men crowded into the barracks that arrived first at one after another. I could hardly hear the sound of footsteps as I was running fast. They moved in groups, but the movements were like one. It was the result of rigorous training. ¡®At first, they were clumsily blushing and screaming at each other.¡¯ Recalling the thought made me smile. Now they could move like my own limbs and carry out the operation. AHhhhhh WTF is this still!? I need to know¡¡ Is Lint the Father?!? (insert murray meme) I¡¯m sorry Stiana but could you die already? I have a paradox going on with how the dad¡ It¡¯s set up like Lint gonna be your daddy but he has 20yo twin sons and at the start of ch1 a little 3yo claimed to be your older brother!? I need to knowwwwwwwwwwwww¡ plz Chapter 3 Episode 3. All the operations that took the lives of my men on the way here were strange to say the least. They weren¡¯t just people who deserved what was happening. The enemy knew all our operation strategies and planned routes. It wasn¡¯t hard to think about who it might have been delivered through. Eileen from either the words of her knights or the prince. It wouldn¡¯t be so surprising who it was. ¡°Commander, are you here first?¡± They were sorry to have kept me waiting. I looked at them one by one. I looked closely at their eyes and faces, wondering if anyone was hiding anything, even pain. They said with a big smile. ¡°There is no place for any pain. Sir, we¡¯re ready to go and win.¡± ¡°Are we all gathered?¡± They looked around, checked, and said everyone except Ren seemed to be here, and he came in even before the words were over. From then on, they listened so as not to miss a single word from my mouth. I heard a rumbling sound coming from someone¡¯s stomach. If it was at other times, the sound would have naturally relieved the mood, but that day was not today. I haven¡¯t even eaten anything properly in days now. ¡°It can be complex, so listen carefully. I go this way and go directly into the wild plants. We¡¯ll set fire to the living quarters and let the horses in the stables run away, making it look like a large number of soldiers were on a night attack.¡± ¡°You¡¯re thinking about using the Aura Blade.¡± If it hadn¡¯t been for me being a Sword Master who could use an Aura Blade, they wouldn¡¯t have believed what I was saying. If it weren¡¯t for the last injury, we might have had to wait, but under the current circumstances, that was also difficult. None of my men knew that my injury was actually so severe. It was a good thing, them not knowing. ¡°Yes. That¡¯ll drive me this way, so we¡¯re all waiting here. Don¡¯t miss any of them here. That¡¯s the way you put your life on the line to finish them.¡± One or two people nodded. I explained to them the geography of the place they should be guarding. I stressed that the operation they had to carry out was indeed quite tricky. If I didn¡¯t, I thought they¡¯d find a loophole in my words. Fortunately, they seemed to believe what I was saying. Except for Ren. ¡°You¡¯re going to do it alone, sir?¡± Asked a subordinate who was nearby. ¡°It¡¯s better to do this alone. It¡¯s not difficult, and there aren¡¯t many of us, so we¡¯re waiting here to gather all our energy. Your job is the most important thing. So don¡¯t miss a single person.¡± ¡°Yes, sir. Don¡¯t worry.¡± They were determined. ¡°You¡¯re right. If the general drives you all, then we can do it. If you try to get rid of it yourself, it¡¯ll be hard, so just show me a taste. They are going to be surprised. It¡¯s a surprise. You¡¯ll do that, right?¡± I nodded, looked at them, and fleshed out the operation. Unlike the others, I was worried about Ren, who was staring at my face like a voyeur, but I just pretended not to know. ¡°I wish each of you good luck. Be sure to survive. Let¡¯s go down to the village tomorrow morning and eat a good meal together. The Bandits would have been a nuisance in this village too, so they might just give us rice.¡± ¡°I see.¡± The men laughed. Most of the laughter was forced laughs made out of nervousness. ¡°Then get ready and start right away.¡± ¡°Yes, commander. Take care of yourself, too sir.¡± They moved in perfect order and disappeared like the wind. Only Ren was left behind. ¡°Why aren¡¯t you going?¡± ¡°Do you think you¡¯ll believe that?¡± ¡°¡What?¡± ¡°You¡¯re trying to die alone. Stupidly!¡± ¡°What?¡± ¡°Why? Are you mad because you¡¯re stupid? Can you get angry?¡± I was appalled at the question of whether I could be angry. In a few hours, I think I¡¯ll be a person who can¡¯t even be angry. ¡°I don¡¯t know what you¡¯re talking about. There¡¯s a lot that needs to be prepared. Get out of the way. You don¡¯t have time for this either. Just think about doing it right. Don¡¯t say anything weird.¡± He came a step aside as I was about to pass. He blocked the way as he couldn¡¯t catch me. His eyes were bloodshot as he raised his head. ¡°Ren.¡± ¡°It was good to be under your command. I¡¯m afraid to take only that name. I don¡¯t even remember the names of Stiana Izberg¡¯s men, Ren Delmart, or the Knights. If you can write my tombstone, please do so.¡± ¡°Why would I write your tombstone? What a fool.¡± ¡°Next time, meet a good lord. Sir.¡± (TLN: OMG I¡¯m crying so hard T^T even Ren knows what¡¯s going on and wishes the best future for his beloved commander.) ¡°Noisey, if you don¡¯t want to be left alone, go ahead.¡± ¡°If I come with you¡¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think anyone who disobeys my orders should be my subordinate.¡± ¡°Commander!¡± ¡°You can tell. What will happen if we go like this? Is that what you¡¯re doing?? You really don¡¯t know it¡¯s you that¡¯s making this the hardest for me right now? Does it change when I pretend to not know? Shall we live with such a smile as if nothing happened? Knowing that I couldn¡¯t do anything to help?¡± ¡°¡¡± Tears welled down from his eyes. His face was fleeting with tears. ¡°Ren. So do I. It was good that you were my subordinate. I¡¯m Stiana Izberg, the sole commander of Ren Delmart.¡± I said, grasping his arm. ¡°Live. That¡¯s an order.¡± ¡°Commander!¡± Leaving his cry behind, I went outside and called my words. I ran my hand through a gray mane. The guy who didn¡¯t know where he was going or what he was going to go through looked good. ¡®I¡¯m sorry.¡¯ I wiped the mane of my horse once and got on its back. My men first saw me as they ran on horseback. I smiled and nodded as I saw them looking at me with hot eyes and with their fists on their chests in salute. Live. Please. You must all try and live. The moment I tried to get on the horse, I almost screamed at a raging pain. I managed to swallow the sound by chewing on my lips. The building with the prince did not open the door in the end even once. Only the sound of laughter grew louder and hit my ear. * The road to the mountain was rough. It must have been about half a year ago that rumors about bandits began to emerge. Bandits take money from people by attacking or threatening the merchants passing by. That was how the bandits of this magnitude managed to live. But this place was strange. He refused to give them money and said he would kill them. When such rumors spread, they would not go there at all, so they would have difficulty operating alive. Nevertheless, they said there was no compromise, and people passing by there were cruel slaughtering both the merchants and the individuals. The rumor spread quickly and the number of people and merchants who passed there dropped rapidly. They were called bandits, but in fact it was more likely that it was a secret organization other than some bandits. The royal family didn¡¯t come forward about the matter in person. There were many battles that were more beneficial than that, so I immersed myself in them. Eileen proposed to the prince to go on a trip together, and if the route had not been set here, he would not have run into them. When I ran the horse nonstop, I was sweating all over. The cold wind scraped the cheek like a blade. Clouds were creeping up around the moon, which was shining everywhere. Running nonstop, a fairly large-scale mountain house with prose revealed its grandeur. As I was holding my breath for a while, the moonlight was briefly obscured by the passing clouds. It was late at night, but the idea that everyone would be asleep went astray. There seemed to be twenty men guarding the gate. They were not off guard. Hearing that the prince and the royal knights were staying nearby, he seemed to have prepared in advance. I hid myself in the darkness for a moment and poured the powder I had taken out of my pocket into the wound. I could probably forget the pain for about an hour and fight through it. Waiting for the drug to spread, I took a breath for a while and went towards them. They seemed to have already known I was here. ¡°I want to talk to your lord.¡± ¡°Our lord will have nothing to say about you. Our Lord doesn¡¯t like to see the living humans.¡± (TLN: lord help me this sentence has me beat I¡¯m sorry¡) The man with a shaggy beard said annoyedly. I gave them some time to change their meaning. But when I saw each of them pulling out their own weapons, I also made the final preparations. A fierce battle seemed inevitable. ¡°But I must see your lord. If you keep blocking me, I can¡¯t help it.¡± There was no need to say anything else. As I ran, those with swords and spears blocked the road. ¡°Don¡¯t bring your body to the lord.¡± The spear passed by me at an unbelievable speed with a heavy piercing. I jumped off the horse and swung my sword at the same time. Surak-. (TLN: SFX sweeping cut noise) Black split the game in a flash. That¡¯s how I ended one¡¯s life. A new model fell to the floor without a chance to scream at the sudden attack. The blood poured down the floor. ¡°¡!¡± The people who gathered wore expressions of disbelief that the victor was decided too quickly. But I couldn¡¯t wait for them to come to their senses. Due to my physical inferiority, I will get tired faster than them. By then, my plan was to make as much noise as possible to draw out their chief and negotiate with him. Chapter 4 ¡°I have no intention of fighting with you. I have a favor to ask of your lord, but it¡¯ll be difficult to do so if I have to kill you.¡± They seemed to think I was provoking them. But it was my heart. I was going to beg to exchange my life to spare my men. Cowardly and pathetic, I was going to beg for their neck¡¯s breath. ¡°It¡¯s already late. We¡¯ve no intention of keeping you alive. If you die, it¡¯ll be all solved. Then you don¡¯t have to fight with us and we won¡¯t let you live the first time.¡± Their spirits suddenly changed. I couldn¡¯t relax anymore when I saw several shadows come towards me at once. If I had made up my mind, now my goal is to finish this quickly. I kicked the ground and jumped into the air at the man standing absentmindedly, and fell off with the sword in his hands. I swung through his waist with a sword loaded with all my strength. ¡°Huup! The man glared at me with incredulous eyes. But the light in them soon went out. A fountain of blood gushed from his body as I swung the sword that touched his flesh and stabbed the man beside him. Black~! ¡°Kill her!¡± ¡°Don¡¯t help me!!¡± The people shouted loudly. The sound might have attracted more people. The fight didn¡¯t scare me, but I was worried that it would end without even trying to reach negotiations. When I saw three swords flying in front of me at once, I hurriedly moved my sword to block, sparks flashed from the contact. Many people gathered around me and I began to infuse Mana into the blade. Those who saw it hesitated in shock. As I ran through their blades swinging my sword, without missing the moment, the bodies of those who were trying to endure were pushed away. A brilliant sword dance unfolded, and a splendid painting was being carved. Meanwhile, dozens of bodies piled up around me. I wasn¡¯t even short of breath yet. But it was too early to be relieved because I didn¡¯t know how many people were here. I didn¡¯t mean to kill everyone I met there. If only I could persuade them. (TLN: umm imo going out full force kinda makes it hard to talk with ppl if you are surrounded by piles of bodies but at the same time they¡¯re attacking first¡) They just needed to listen to me. I wanted to stop this meaningless fight. ¡°I have something to say to your lord!¡± But they crawled forward in front of me. ¡°It¡¯s already late. Can we just get to the matter at hand now?¡± And someone threw a spear at me. I stepped back and struck them with a sword, and ran toward those who blocked them like a wall, I soared up high into the air, came down, and burst out my aura. ¡°Argh!¡± In an instant, a bloody mist obscured my vision. Now I just wanted them to stop. As my wound opened and new wounds developed, the pain was about to stick out its head as the medicine was losing effectiveness. When I touched the wound, I felt the wet dark blood. Passing by groaning people, I drove myself towards a large building with its lights on. His men were quite persistent, though they had an idea their lord would be there. I grabbed my sword for a moment and sucked in my breath. I thought I had done quite a bit, but I didn¡¯t feel any bit diminished. ¡°Bitter bastards! It¡¯s just good to understand when you¡¯re talking nicely!¡± I pushed Mana in once more, and wielded my sword with a feeling that I would not stop until I met him. I ran to the ground and cut the waist to the heart of those who tried to stop me. Then I could see a stampeding figure coming from the building. I wasn¡¯t sure but I thought he¡¯d be the boss. His long hair waved about from the wind in the dark. I fired an aura at those who blocked the front. Running between those who fell helplessly in the strong black wind, I headed for him. ¡°If you¡¯re their lord, I have something to say to you.¡± He looked at me as I approached him shouting. When the clouds disappeared and the moon was revealed, the man became bright like an early evening. ¡°You¡¯re somebody.¡± Just in time, the wind scattered his hair about. He curled his hair up like a nuisance. The head of the bandits, who was full of words, was so different from what I had known that I thought I had come to the wrong place. A straight forehead and pale skin. It couldn¡¯t be accurately measured in the dark, but he was a rare handsome man with a fine soft face and clear features. I was also only in my mid-20s. ¡°What do you want to say?¡± A pleasant voice sank low into my ears. ¡°I¡¯m Stiana Izven, the commander of the Royal Knights.¡± ¡°So what? You didn¡¯t come here in the middle of the night to show off by killing my men.¡± He turned his head and looked at one place and said indifferently. Where he looked, there was a pile of bodies of those who had fallen from those that were blocking me. I couldn¡¯t complain about his hospitality. From now on, I had to ask him to do me a favor which he wouldn¡¯t like. ¡°I¡¯m sorry about that. I wanted to meet you, but I couldn¡¯t help it because they didn¡¯t open the way.¡± ¡°If you want to meet someone, but the way isn¡¯t open and clear, you kill them.¡± A smile was formed around his mouth. ¡°Sorry.¡± ¡°Should you say you¡¯re sorry about your strength? All the dead have to do is be actually sorry.¡± There was a quiet voice. ¡°¡¡± ¡°So what were you trying to say?¡± He bit out when I couldn¡¯t speak. ¡°Please save my men.¡± ¡°Save your men. What¡¯s the price?¡± The story quickly got to the point. ¡°Why don¡¯t the leaders of the two sides stick together and come to a conclusion and have it all come to an end?¡± He laughed again. ¡°So you¡¯ll give your life up so you can save them.¡± ¡°Or you can give your life a chance to live.¡± When I lifted the sword, he gave me a humorous expression. ¡°I saw your sword. It was fun.¡± The man stated. ¡°That¡¯s all. It was just fun.¡± There was no one who had said that about my sword. But I didn¡¯t think I was even offended by the remark. It wasn¡¯t easy to breathe in the overwhelming tension that I experienced for the first time in my life. He didn¡¯t do anything great, he just simply pulled out his sword and put his momentum forward. But even that was unusual. One who saw the end of a sword. It occurred to me. I could feel that energy from him, who seemed to be a few years younger than me, was almost no different. I thought it wouldn¡¯t be a shame to give up everything and put everything down like this, but at that moment, I got greedy. I wanted to see his sword through and through. (TLN: the warrior inside her won¡¯t let her back down from a worthy opponent!) Even if a man who has been searching for gold all his life found an unimaginable gold mine at the moment of his death, it would not be possible to understand all (bitter elation) of my current feelings. (TLN: see note at bottom) The long-cherished desire of the sword I wanted to reach for. It wasn¡¯t just to get there, but to go way beyond it. Tears of unknown meaning flowed as I watched him. There was no way to express my feelings in any form of words. ¡®What? What is it¡ How could I do this?¡¯ He moved the sword slowly as if he were joking about. Eyes were fixed on my face past the sword. And he looked at me with a serene gaze, as if he were touching my face. He looked at my forehead, went down the bridge of my nose, and kept going down like that, looking at my lips and chin, he seemed to have engraved myself in his own eyes. (TLN: this is sooo not creepy¡) We met for the first time and we exchanged such carefree glances, all while aiming for each other¡¯s lives. Was it just a search? His sword moved so firmly that it occurred to me. Sarrak-. A gust of wind caused by the sword blew my hair, and it was cut off by his blade and fell to the ground. Surak-. Then there was the sound of my sleeve being cut off. Even after cleverly cutting it, the blade didn¡¯t even touch the skin. I couldn¡¯t believe it could be done without moving the sword so fast that I couldn¡¯t feel when it had passed. How can a sword cry so heavy and light at the same time? How can the sword be so fast and slow at the same time? How can he be so powerful if he doesn¡¯t seem to give me any strength? The new work he showed me caused me a great deal of confusion. Watching him push his energy into the sword, I injected my mana and took a few steps back, and then jumped towards him. A strong gale struck him when my aura flared out. I thought his blood would soon fill the already red misty atmosphere, but it ended in my imagination. He just swung a few strikes of his sword in the air. It created hundreds of black screen swords that blocked all my attacks. My reactions couldn¡¯t be so shameful. I never imagined that all attempts would be taken prisoner in such a vain attempt. His sharp eyes pierced me with this look. In the meantime, it was calm and clear. My breath grew more and more rough. Every moment I breathed, intense amounts of pain came. It was regretful to meet him in this condition. It was a great pity that I would not have been able to meet him and compete with him when I was in the best shape. I drew an extra sword and smashed it in, aiming at his waist and shoulders at the same time. He looked as if he had met his matchmaker. Contrary to my raucous gestures, he avoided me with a leisurely gesture as if he were annoyed with the breeze. Then the laughter disappeared from his face for a moment. ¡°You lied to me.¡± I didn¡¯t know what he was talking about. It was a long time after a group of horses appeared hooves stomping. He sensed it even before they appeared. I didn¡¯t even understand what he said for a long time after he said it. He, who had been wearing a contented face while sharing the sword with me, suddenly attacked me with anger. When I was thinking something was wrong, I heard Prince Moenfis¡¯ voice coming from behind. ¡°You did it, my God. You really did it. I knew it. I thought Stiana would make it.¡± The man in front of me glared at me with cold eyes. ¡°You¡¯ve been quite brazen in your play.¡± He looked at me with a contemptuous look and spat out his word in a clipped tone. TLN from above-the raw doesn¡¯t say ¡®bitter elation¡¯ specifically leaving the emotion running through her vague but if you found a massive pile of riches only for you to die soon unable to enjoy it you would be elated then very bitter so placing the wording here made sense incase it didn¡¯t come across right away In case someone forgot our darling Stiana sent the rest of the knights elsewhere while she would be a distraction while intending her ¡®distraction¡¯ to be an end it situation. OMG OMG OMG plssssssss tell me this is one of the tyrant¡¯s sons >.< we got handsomeness check, super skilled check, mysterious air also check, and aged under the current life of the FL so younger than 20 super checkness. Chapter 5 I became embarrassingly urgent. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, but I didn¡¯t cheat you. I didn¡¯t know they¡¯d follow me. I¡¯m telling you.¡± But his sword was determined. Sweat ran down my back. He was wasting his life. ¡°Kill them all!¡± ¡°Men!¡± Dozens of voices were heard in his harsh voice. I forgot that his men had been watching us there more. He was only looking at me while his men were giving looks of no mercy toward the prince¡¯s party. It was just a pity to see the look that seemed to reproach myself for believing in me for a moment. I never thought I should stop his sword even though he attacked me coldly. I just wanted to explain to him. I don¡¯t know why, but I didn¡¯t want to misunderstand. His sword roared violently and blood gushed from my body. His sword brutally cut through my waist and gut spilled on a deep sword. Only then did he seem to think something was strange. Having shared the sword with me so far, he would have known that I would have been able to avoid his attack. ¡°¡Why!¡± He came running towards me. I felt sorry for the embarrassment on his face. It¡¯s not his fault. It would have been natural for him to doubt me. I was going to say it¡¯s okay, but my mouth was spewing blood. The sound was buried there. ¡°Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My hands are splashed with blood!¡± Eileen¡¯s scream hit my ear. ¡°Well, Your Highness¡¡± The sound of someone collapsing and the sound of the colorful noise touching each other was clearly heard. (I¡¯m taking lots of liberties with this sentence. I¡¯m sorry¡ it¡¯s just past my ability{might be the sound of a cow wailing?}) ¡°Stiana, help Eileen right now. Come on. Come on! Isn¡¯t Eileen down!¡± The prince cried out. Foolishly. I burst out into laughter. Death would break the pledge of sworn loyalty to the prince. It should have been so long ago, a long time ago. I couldn¡¯t shake off the thought that my men had died because of my lingering attachment. ¡°Stiana, get up! I¡¯m telling you to stand up and stop it!! Knights protect me! Come here and protect me!¡± Behind his tearful cry, there were screams of knights and the sound of them falling. His men knocked down all the others, leaving only the prince and Eileen alone. Prince Moenfis shrieked and screamed when he realized that no one could protect him. Then he spat out a meaningless order. When I passed the mountain gate, I must have thought I won by looking at people who have lost several places. So I would have gone back and forth and walked around. At the moment of victory, I thought I should be there. The hasty and foolish judgment finally got him into a corner. The bandit lord waved the wind from his hand at him. Killing the prince seemed to mean nothing to him. With a bored expression that looked like killing an ant, he took the prince¡¯s breath away. He just couldn¡¯t stand the prince making noise. Soon the prince was silenced and Eileen¡¯s scream was no longer heard. I was confused for a moment whether they were dead or I was dead. I felt that the world around me was slowly losing light and sound. But I still had work to do. The last thing that came into my slowly closing eyes was the man who killed me. He seemed to have belatedly realized that this was not my work. ¡°Do me a favor, please. My men.¡± Kulleog- A handful of blood was vomited. ¡°I¡¯ll save you, Stiana Izbern. It¡¯s been a long time since I had fun.¡± The anger subsided in his eyes. Looking at me dying, I laughed heartily at what I said. I feel better now. ¡®Ren. Meet someone nice. And never have to ever put a bandage on your colleague again.¡¯ I remembered my noisy and smiling subordinates. ¡®Everyone live happily. While laughing a lot. I¡¯ll take on all the misfortune.¡¯ The unbearable pain hit me. However it didn¡¯t take long to be caught up in the terrible pain. He seemed to try to cure me, but in the end he seemed to realize it was impossible. The pain gradually spread and he touched my forehead with his hand. His hands were unbelievably soft and warm. ¡°I¡¯ll remember you. Stiana Izbern. You were a good opponent.¡± (TLN: it says something more like a good test, but calling her a test didn¡¯t read well.) I burst out into laughter. Blood splattered with my feeble laugh. He called me a good opponent. Ha¡ While heavy breaths were leaving my lips, a satisfactory smile appeared on my face. At last I fell into a deep sleep ending my life. *** And it happened. (Ahhh finally!!!) I was scared because it was so vivid that I didn¡¯t know which one was a dream. The smell of a baby was so vivid. ¡°Oh, my Stiana, were you scared you couldn¡¯t see your brother?¡± I heard a different voice somewhere and a small hand came in and stroked my cheek. There seemed to be little difference between my hand size and theirs. ¡®Ha¡ I think tears will come out.¡¯ It was the same that I couldn¡¯t see his face well. He didn¡¯t hide his height or sat down, and he seemed to be standing with his best efforts, but his face was not tall enough to make it up to the crib. The hand on my cheek smelled like a baby. I turned my head to see the owner of the hand and got hit in the face by the fist. ¡°Heez! Stiana. Don¡¯t cry. Don¡¯t cry. Are you going to tell your father?¡± As the child cried and spoke, the child next to him heard a soothing sound. ¡°My Stiana doesn¡¯t cry. Did you see Stiana cry?¡± ¡°No.¡± ¡°But I saw the prince hit Stiana.¡± Some low-pitched voice interrupted the children¡¯s cute voices. Prince? Did you just say Prince? I turned my head and looked at the man who seemed to be the peak of this country. It was a handsome man with a colorful crown on his head. A dark blonde with blue eyes that shine like jewels. When I spoke to the children a little while ago, an incredibly scary force was emitted, and the moment I met with eyes, his eyes bent like a crescent moon. His eyes disappeared from the laughter. ¡°Oh, my. My princess. Did you wake up to see your dad?¡± ¡°It happened before my father came.¡± The child spoke firmly. ¡°So did you punch her to sleep well?¡± ¡°I was going to pet her because she was pretty, but she turned her head and it happened. And Stiana didn¡¯t even cry. I would have cried if I was sick.¡± ¡°Stiana doesn¡¯t cry even if she¡¯s sick.¡± They made the little talk serious. I just wanted to know what was happening now. Prince? Princess? The only princes I know are the two golden wolves of the Estion Empire. I rolled my eyes with a puzzled expression. At that time, two children¡¯s bright blond hair showed their presence. ¡®No way. Those wolves are not this young.¡¯ ¡°Daddy, this bed is too high. Wouldn¡¯t Stiana hurt herself if she fell?¡± ¡°It¡¯s okay because I¡¯ve put the railing up.¡± ¡°You¡¯re too much. You purposely made the bed this high so that we can¡¯t see it.¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. You¡¯re smart, as fitting a descendant of Marinheir.¡± He spoke without denying it. Wait a minute. Marinheir? I came to my senses. And my body was lifted into the air. The emperor¡¯s two hands came under my arms and lifted me up absurdly simple. ¡°Ah ah ah. My brother¡!¡± I saw the faces of two children as I was raised up high. They¡¯re¡ The princes? The children looked at my face and were smiling with their mouths open. He had a face that I wanted to say he was pretty and that he was going to die, and he was showing his respect for me with his whole body, holding his hands tightly together and jumping on the spot. ¡°Hey, you should see your dad. Dad. What would I do if I saw my brothers who couldn¡¯t eat anything? Stiana.¡± I looked at the man in front of me, listening to the sound of a cave ringing. He seemed to expect me to smile, but how can he expect me to laugh in this situation? ¡°Oh, pretty. Our Stiana has beautiful feet, too.¡± The twins tugged at my feet, which deepened my agony. ¡®Should I cry once? Then will these people stop bothering me?¡¯ ¡°Stiana. My lovely princess. I¡¯ll take over the Continental Kingdom one by one on every birthday of yours.¡± He said, rubbing his rough face against my face. It was so hard to put up with it that I tried to tell him not to do it, but there was nothing but a feeble voice. ¡°Hueeng¡¡± ¡®Huh¡?¡¯ The shock I received was really great at that time. I suppose. Now I can¡¯t even speak. I had no idea how this had happened. ¡°Daddy, why don¡¯t you put her down because Styana doesn¡¯t seem to like you.¡± These princes seemed to have a good conviction. However, the emperor was not daunted at all. He was busy hugging and smiling myself. ¡°Don¡¯t you have to attend a political meeting?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t you think your Majesty should be a model first? I don¡¯t think other people are here because they want to, but would it be a shame if you were to leave out the political meeting?¡± The children said everything they could because they wanted to see my face up close. It seemed almost that I had put my life on the line. ¡°Those who think of living in the example of others are not needed in the Estion Empire. Why are you taking my example? And I decided not to attend the political meeting today. They¡¯ll have a meeting among themselves since we¡¯ve given them an agenda. Without me, I can conveniently express my opinions and have a meeting. I am afraid and I cannot properly cope with it.¡± ¡°Isn¡¯t that your father¡¯s idea? Maybe they¡¯re just playing with each other because he¡¯s not here, so why don¡¯t you go and see him?¡± ¡°It¡¯s all right.¡± When the emperor spoke so firmly, the princes were visibly discouraged and the emperor seemed to be very happy to see them. It seemed there were no adults, but three children seemed to be standing side by side. They sooooo cute such a ¡®loving¡¯ family lol Chapter 6 MARRY XMAS ALL The color of the hair and eyes were all the same, not only the difference between light and shade. ¡°Daddy, but it¡¯s a long misconception that Stiana was born and she never lost. My father often lost.¡± Suddenly, a child found fault with a past story. What do they believe in? This emperor, even if you just look at him, it looks scary. Furthermore, my heart was pounding because I knew dozens of anecdotes about the emperor¡¯s brutality. Come to think of it, my heart seemed to be getting faint now that I thought it would be smaller. I was wondering what had happened to me, but I heard the emperor¡¯s voice again. I forgot that they were still arguing. ¡°Even if I lost once or twice, I would have won if I had conquered it in the end. So since Stiana was born I¡¯ve never lost.¡± ¡°Then, even after we were born, Daddy would never lose?¡± ¡°No, I haven¡¯t conquered about four of the continental kingdoms. I quit. That¡¯s why I lost. It¡¯s an obvious defeat for me. After you were born, and it¡¯s still before Stiana was born. So I think we should slowly conquer that place, too.¡± The princes looked somewhat resentful. And he kept fiddling with my feet. The emperor was holding me high, and with his head tilted back, he was clinging to my feet and holding them up. The Emperor seemed to know it but didn¡¯t let me down on purpose. ¡®But did the Emperor have an imperial princess? I¡¯ve never heard of that before.¡¯ I¡¯ve heard stories about the emperor¡¯s family sorely, but I wondered why only stories about the imperial woman were missing. ¡®What? No way. Am I going to die early here? So when the princes grow up, will no one remember the princess?¡¯ (TLN the second half of the sentence it¡¯s based on the former sentence where no imperial females have anything written about them.) I was concentrating on distracting thoughts, but it became quiet around me. It was strange and everyone was looking at me without breathing. ¡°Why is Stieana so cool? I¡¯ve never seen such a wonderful baby.¡± ¡°Your eyes are alive, father.¡± ¡°I think Stiana knows everything.¡± They were like fanatics. ¡°Stiana doesn¡¯t even cry. She doesn¡¯t even laugh, but that¡¯s what it is. It¡¯ll be solved when the time comes.¡± The emperor spoke with a sullen look. ¡°You won¡¯t laugh if you look at your father¡¯s face. So put it down.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think I¡¯ll laugh just because I see you.¡± The emperor never lost to the princes. Nevertheless, the princes did not give up. Prince Moenfis was the same age as the princes. And I was two years younger than Prince Moenpis. But the fact that these princes are so young¡ ¡®Am I back in the past? Is this someone else¡¯s body? Why?¡¯ I thought long and hard as they kept looking at me and admiring me breathlessly. ¡°Ah. That¡¯s cool. What is my brother thinking so hard? Think about what to eat for dinner?¡± ¡°What¡¯s there to think about? Stiana always drinks milk.¡± ¡°Oh, I see. I don¡¯t think kids at this age have anything to worry about. But Stiana is different. Where should I go next? The liver is the face. Your eyes are alive, Adelegio? I think she¡¯s cooler than you.¡± ¡°Why are you pulling me in there? Of course, Styana¡¯s eyes are more alive than anyone else on the continent. She¡¯s more alive than Daddy is.¡± Adelgio spoke and glanced at the emperor. He said it with conviction, but I thought he was being sensible, so I guess he tried to compare our eyes. He said he was right and kept his head down. Even though the emperor had suffered a mysterious defeat from me, it seemed that he didn¡¯t like it at all. ¡°Yes, that¡¯s right. Stiana has different eyes. She¡¯s completely alive. She does a big job with a child like this. Don¡¯t assume that you too will inherit the Empire because you are your brothers, but always listen to Stiana..¡± ¡°Yes, father. Father is eyeing too much land, so we¡¯ll have to help each of you. Agio, you won¡¯t be able to do it alone.¡± The emperor shook his head as Karhill spoke. ¡°I was thinking of having you two as co-emperor from the beginning.¡± ¡°The Emperor will do better than Adelgio. I¡¯m going to help out with something like a Chancellor there. But if Stiana wants to be the emperor, you both should help Stiana. If you want to rebel, I¡¯ll give you a weapon.¡± (TLN I¡¯m not sure if he¡¯s trying to say here that he will challenge them if they go against their baby sister, Daddy¡¯s golden child) Karhill spoke fearlessly and Adelezio hit Karhill¡¯s head in a stunning manner. ¡°Karhill is not good enough, either. How can you talk about treason in front of him? That¡¯s why you¡¯re being squeezed. But I think the plan is interesting. Karhill, I¡¯ll lend you a word with a soldier.¡± ¡°Ah, I was saying that I was going to rebel against father, but if I miss the chance, I will be able to rebel against Adelegius.¡± ¡°Only father? Do you want me to do it for you? I¡¯m a super-class assassin.¡± Eventually, the emperor banged the heads of the two princes. These people seemed to have no walls in conversation, and I rolled my eyes around and listened to them. ¡°Stiana, grow up like this.¡± Karhill said, folding his lovely eyes back. Everyone¡¯s facial expressions became similar to his words and their facial expressions became identical, making their faces look exactly the same. ¡°Ughhh¡¡± I tried to talk to him, but I was shocked by the sound from my mouth and closed my mouth. ¡°Hi, it¡¯s so pretty.¡± The princes ran and raged saying that it was good to just make the sound. It seemed like this situation would continue for some time to come. ¡°Your Royal Highnesses, it¡¯s time for swordsmanship lessons. You¡¯re already late. You have to go now.¡± ¡°Ah, I just want to see Stiana all day.¡± The two princes forced their unsteady feet apart. During that time, I organized my thoughts. I don¡¯t know how I ended up being reborn as this child¡¯s body, but more importantly, I knew what was going to happen in the future. After all, I was dead and there was no doubt that I was born again. ¡®Why am I a princess? No, that¡¯s not important. I think it¡¯s already decided. I need to know what¡¯s going to happen to me, am I really going to die?¡¯ There was no way to find out because that event hadn¡¯t ¡®happened¡¯ yet. If I had known this would be possible, I would have been more interested in the story of the royal family. What people said about the imperial family was only about the tyrant emperor and two golden wolves, so there was nothing to know no matter how hard I tried to reverse my memories. Only anecdotes of the emperor came to mind that he did not want to think about. Most of them were about how he killed those who resisted to the end. Despite the constant threat of murder, the assassins had never once succeeded. I remembered hearing that the people who tried to kill him could not get close, and that they would be bleeding like an island in the blood of their own, with their body pierced with a dagger or blown away by the emperor. It must have been Len who spoke so realistically. Why would he say that¡? Even if I visited people who knew about the royal family, they would not know because it hadn¡¯t happened as of yet. ¡°Hueeng¡¡± The sound came out even when I tried to give a sigh. When I raised my hand to grab my forehead in frustration, an uncontrollable fist hit my face. It was so sad that I felt like crying out. It wasn¡¯t likely to come out, but it was already coming out. Heu-ing, heu-ing. It hurts my pride that I was crying with such a small shrug on my shoulders, so it stopped very quickly. ¡°But let¡¯s not lose hope. I¡¯m not going to keep doing this. This body will grow too. Yeah, it¡¯ll grow up. Stiana.¡¯ Come to think of it, my name was the same as the princess. I sighed again, thinking that it wasn¡¯t because of that that I was born into the body of a princess. ¡°Hueeng¡¡± *** All I could do for a while was to toss my arms around and then flip over. I didn¡¯t succeed every time, but only when my condition was very good, but I gradually increased my chances of success, and later I did a simple flip-flop. I wasn¡¯t an arrogant person. I wasn¡¯t a condescending person to be able to do something new. While practicing swordsmanship, I was only satisfied with the achievements after endless efforts. But I didn¡¯t know that I would do this because I succeeded in turning over. People who only look at me all day long don¡¯t know what to do because they like me when I succeed in flip-flopping, but it naturally happened when I saw that. When I succeeded in turning it over, the nanny and the maids went wild, and the princes hopped and cheered when they appeared. ¡°Our Stiana must be a genius. I can¡¯t believe she¡¯s already turning upside down. ¡°That¡¯s true.¡± I thought it would come out to say that the overturn was successful, but surprisingly, the twins agreed well on such matters. When I succeeded in turning it over, it was my world from then on. I was able to push and move with my toes while lying down. Then it became possible to stand on the floor and finally stand alone. ¡°Our Stiana is already standing up!¡± ¡°Stiana. Let¡¯s walk hand in hand.¡± I held the plump fingers of the princes, flexed my legs and took it step by step by step. I felt my chubby legs were getting stronger. Waddle-waddle- If my men had seen me now, I would have been turned upset by all the laughing. To see that, Daddy sometimes threw his work away and came to my room. ¡°Stiana, come to Daddy.¡± He sat down far away, clapped his hands and waited for me. Then I approached him with a precarious gait that seemed it could fall at any moment. Every time I took a step, the movement was so loud and big that my waist turned around. As I applied force to the floor to avoid falling down, it looked as if I was trying to grab the floor with my small white toes, which was also an exciting experience for them all. Chapter 7 Episode 7 This is being translated by Bane for her bday enjoy! I didn¡¯t wear socks because I didn¡¯t want to slip and fall as I started walking about, but I was fascinated by my chubby feet and cute toes. I would have grown up through this process before, but I wouldn¡¯t have the intelligence to recognize that I was like this then back when I was a child the first time. When I stared at my little toes instead of going to the emperor, he was so anxious that my father, the emperor, was begging me to go to him. When I concentrated again and approached him, the emperor walked up to me on his knees and hugged me tightly within his arms. ¡°Sigh. Our lovely Stiana.¡± He stuck his face up against my cheek. He was worried before that the prickly beard he had would damage my face, so whenever he saw any stubble, he would have a barber trim it. I stroked his soft chin and he looked like he had the world in his eyes. Sometimes there were times when the eyes of the father and daughter met. The look he had in his eyes seemed to display some secret, and it happened every time I gave him a big smile. Then he would smile happily, defenseless again, as if his mind had melted from the sight of my bright red gums. A baby that rattles the heart of a man who makes the entire continent tremble. Months have passed by, but I still haven¡¯t been able to adjust yet. *** ¡°Did you see her eating strawberries? You have two teeth and you can chew it really hard.¡± Karhill, who said so, had plenty of strawberries waiting in his hands. I think he did it to feed me strawberries, but he had picked up too much at once, and he didn¡¯t have any fingers left to feed me. So Adelgio was there picking up the strawberries and giving them to me. That¡¯s what Karhill thought. ¡°I want to give Stiana strawberries, too.¡± ¡°Stiana, don¡¯t spill it. Ouch. That¡¯s your brother¡¯s finger. You can¡¯t eat fingers. Hahahaha.¡± Adelgio said it was also interesting. ¡°It¡¯s fun when she bites fingers, right?¡± ¡°Funny, I thought it was breaking.¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. It was scary. It hurt even when she was biting with her gums.¡± Karhill and Adelgio kept talking without pause. I thought they were the most talkative children in the world. However, the voices themselves were so cute and lovely that it calmed me down when I listened to them. The strawberries that first came into my mouth were later busy entering their mouths. Then I patted my stomach and gestured that I ate well enough. I was worried about the strawberry juice on my hands, so I looked around and did not find anything so I wiped them on my pants. Then I grabbed my chubby cheeks with sticky hands and kissed them. ¡°Your Royal Highness, it¡¯s time for your history class.¡± When they heard the words, the two looked really distressed. It seemed like someone would think they were the ones who had just lost their country. I looked forward to that day to come quickly, thinking that someday I would learn such things. There was nothing I could do as of now. It was fortunate that I could think of swordsmanship at least. It was a tremendous struggle to spend most of my time lying down and being unable to do anything with my adult intelligence. I was less bored because I could hear what the women were talking about next to me. They wouldn¡¯t have ever imagined that I could understand what they were saying. I knew all about who the poet liked. Sometimes a special name came up in their conversation. When someone said that a gift came from Euburn White Sackzer, others nodded and said they received it. (TL note I¡¯m unsure about the naming as of now I¡¯m sure it¡¯ll come up more so I will have a better context about it later.) ¡°I think you have a different mindset. My family is proud of me because I keep sending gifts back home. You¡¯re thinking about that and sending it home, right?¡± ¡°I will. He¡¯s not usually that thoughtful.¡± I didn¡¯t know who he was. I didn¡¯t know why he was giving my maids presents, but I couldn¡¯t ask them yet. I think perhaps it¡¯s about time that I started talking¡ *** Now, I can take a few steps all on my own. I liked walking around while holding the hands of the princes. They both were so cute that I felt good whenever I was with them. They looked like they were angels when they smiled down at me. When we went outside, our knights followed behind. There were dozens of knights for the Crown Prince, and even my knights added. When I saw them, I thought of many things. I often blanked out at the thought of becoming a good leader for those people. (Soon to be Princess Commander Stiana lol, imagine her talking and directing them in training as a tiny human ahhh the training grounds run by Stiana doing all sorts of drills. I bet they would love it and the princes and emperor would approve. Royal Stamp of approval.) Then the knights would smile and look at me. They seemed to find it interesting to see a small child with a look that seemed as if they knew the whole world. The princes chattered and talked a lot, and I listened as if I were seeing a show. ¡°Why doesn¡¯t our Stiana laugh a lot? I want to see our Stiana smile.¡± ¡°So you don¡¯t like it? I¡¯m cool, but I don¡¯t like smiling too much. I don¡¯t think you need to smile when it¡¯s about Stiana.¡± Karhill and Adelgio. Now the two of them were quite different. The emperor doesn¡¯t seem to know the difference between the two yet, but I certainly did. I felt it from the atmosphere, not from their other characteristics. ¡°Kalil, tell.¡± I said pointing at them one by one with my fingers. This is why I don¡¯t speak. I know exactly what I wanted to say, but the words come out weird. ¡°Stiana, not Kalil, but Karhill. Car. Le Hill.¡± ¡°Kaa, Lil!¡± It was the same even when I tried to speak it properly. ¡°Let¡¯s practice your name. Ah. Del. Ge. Oh.¡± I just shut my mouth. It was obvious that it wouldn¡¯t come out the way I was intending it to. ¡°Strana is really good at it. Stiana would be the only one who can tell us apart.¡± Every time I called them correctly, the twins shouted out excitedly. The emperor thought he could also distinguish between the two, but he couldn¡¯t. Many would mix up Karhill as Adelgio and Adelgio as Karhill. There were times when they were mistaken for each other and scolded the wrong one, but they didn¡¯t say they weren¡¯t, and they just listened silently. It was comfortable for them to be scolded because they didn¡¯t do anything wrong, so they seemed to hold out on each other¡¯s behalf. After a while, the opposite seems to happen again, so there seems to be no need to thank each other each time it happened. It¡¯s also a problem that the emperor confused the twins, but it was still better than me calling them ¡®daddy.¡¯ Why is it so hard to pronounce my father? Why do my lips and tongue always make such strange words every time? The emperor couldn¡¯t stop laughing when I called him ¡®babby,¡¯ but I was ashamed. My life since I¡¯ve been born into the imperial family, it¡¯s changed a lot from before. The princes admonished me as they walked my way. You¡¯ll fall down like that. I wanted to say that several times, but Karhill was busy explaining it to me. Then, he stumbled and fell on an uneven part of the floor and cried. Tears seemed to come out, but he seemed to hold out thinking that he was my brother and that he could not cry in front of his little sister. ¡°It¡¯s okay, Stiana. It doesn¡¯t hurt. It¡¯s okay.¡± It was so cute to see him crying and holding back his tears, so I really wanted to hug him. I ran to him and hugged him, thinking, ¡®What could I do?¡¯ and he quickly looked like he had just been given the whole world. ¡°Stiana, give me a hug.¡± ¡°Deljo don¡¯t fall down. Is short. Won¡¯t hug Deljo.¡± (When your own little sister knocks you down!) Adelgio spoke with his arms wide open, and I saw large drops of tears falling from Adelgio¡¯s eyes. I can¡¯t believe the golden wolf of the Empire cried at those words. If I hadn¡¯t seen it myself, I wouldn¡¯t have ever believed it. I didn¡¯t have any tolerance for such a cute figure, so I hugged Adelgio, and the two of them quickly looked happy and circled around me. The scene was so distracting that I made a pledge not to hug him from next time forward. ¡°Does Stiana like you that much?¡± They said such things endlessly, but the two of them didn¡¯t know what to do because I was just too pretty. I often met the emperor while walking in the palace. The emperor couldn¡¯t erase his laughter whenever he saw me, and the four guards who always served him from close aides looked defenselessly at the same time. Their impression was so much softer than it was at first. He still eliminates numerous enemies from the battlefield, and sometimes runs without removing the blood stains from his clothes, but his eyes were not as pure as those of me. ¡°Father conquered another kingdom. Stiana, Father wielded his sword, and it looked like a very long red carpet was laid down in front of him. Isn¡¯t that right, Adelgio?¡± ¡°Yes, hundreds of people prostrated themselves in front of father and shouted, ¡®Your Majesty!¡¯ Now they all know how strong Dad and his men are, so they don¡¯t resist too much.¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. Everyone¡¯s bowing their heads and shouting to Father to lead them.¡± There was no opponent to match him on the continent. The emperor and his aides seemed to be in a good mood while the two princes were whispering about cutely. Called the Four Wings of the Emperor, they were the ones who assisted the Emperor and soaked the continent with the blood of their opponents. When discussing the emperor¡¯s conquest war, they were said to have saved the emperor from crises of both large and small with swords that were close to divine. I especially enjoyed watching their swordsmanship. It was not for anyone to go to their training camp, but I could see them without restriction, wherever I was held by the Emperor. I need to know who else can imagine darling little Stiana on the training grounds trying to lead the drills and maybe even when she¡¯s a bit older and stronger flailing about a toy sword. All the knights will fall to their knees in worship! Stiana slowly is moving forward in her conquest of the royal palace so far both the twin princes and the emperor have fallen to her whims, now to set her sights onto the knights. Who will win? Stiana or the knights? Chapter 8 This is being translated by Bane, read at your own risk. In order to protect the emperor together, the four knights worked hard to create and practice unique swordsmanship and spear techniques together. But they had no choice but to admit that it was quite difficult to achieve, even though they could see a new noble martial art being created. The emperor had accidentally taken me to their training center one time and because he found out that I was watching their training process carefully, from then on he would take me often to watch. They liked me, so they were busy smiling at me. At first, I didn¡¯t know how to overcome the difference. To me, the empire didn¡¯t fight directly, but it was close to the enemy. Since they have yet to show their ambition toward the Kingdom of Einver, the Empire could attack the Kingdom of Einver at any time, and we always had to be prepared for battle. Born as the princess of such an empire, I was deeply concerned about what I should do here at first, but now it was overshadowed by the fact that I had such useless concerns. (Baby blues, can¡¯t do anything to help as a baby but smile cheerfully to encourage the masses) Now I was naturally accepting the fact that I was the princess of the Empire. Just as the Kingdom had their own position and goals so too did the Empire to achieve their goals. ¡®I guess I¡¯m now an Imperialist.¡¯ Looking at the clouds floating freely in the blue sky, I thought like that. *** Time went on by as if it had wings. I was sorry for the moving passage of time. I know it¡¯s a necessary time for my growth, but it was a shame that there wasn¡¯t much I was able to do. Still, the princes were two years older than me, and there were many books to read. Maybe it was because they were like moldable saplings that should later become emperors, but it seemed people were trying to teach them properly from the very beginning. When I was with them, I could naturally access their books and listen to what their tutors were teaching. So the twins seemed to have misunderstood this situation that I was trying not to be separated from them. ¡°Does Stiana not want to be away from brother for a while?¡± ¡°I think my Stiana really likes me.¡± I was busy touching my chubby cheeks propped up by my hands. Whether they did believe that was the reason or not, I focused on my book. People thought I was simply pretending to turn the pages imitating the princes. Now that I was a two-year-old child, it would have been natural to think so. The princes looked at me, wondering why I was turning the pages for such a long time without getting tired of it. ¡°Stiana is so amazing. Look at her trying to hold it in while doing something so boring because she wants to be next to me.¡± ¡°That¡¯s really true. I¡¯m proud of you. My little sister.¡± The two kids, who were always arguing with each other, often agreed upon such remarks that involved me. There were many books in the princes¡¯ study room. As always a lot of books were piled up on their desks, so I dragged them over. (Stiana a little bookworm.) When I touched a book with my little hand, the tutors of the princes put it in front of me and I didn¡¯t think I would read it, so I opened the middle of the course without opening the first page. When I whined and fiddled with the book, the princes opened the first page of their books. ¡°Books should be read starting from the first chapter.¡± That¡¯s what you said. The children were very useful. I wanted them to give me some other books, but when I looked at them, it seemed that they were pushing the ones they didn¡¯t want to read over to myself. When the tutor told me to look at the book, she ¡®Couldn¡¯t bear to interrupt Stiana because she was reading it so diligently.¡¯ Fortunately, these books were helpful to me, so I read them purposefully. Especially the books that were on military methods stimulated my curiosity. There were many cases where I thought it would have been quite good or more advantageous if I had used this or that method at those times, recalling the numerous battles I had once fought. (All the more reason for Stiana to have the crown for the win!) When I was reading a book while nodding away quietly opening the book by myself, there was a sudden sound of laughter. No one would think a two-year-old child would understand the content and read it, so I thought it was because they saw it as that I was just cute. However, as time passed by, I seemed to take it for granted later on whether I had become more and more used to seeing my own self like that. ¡°Stiana, are you having fun?¡± ¡°Unn.¡± I concentrated on reading the books well without speaking because I sounded like a child whenever I talked. Sometimes when the emperor seemed worried about my development, I would speak to show that I was growing up well, but it didn¡¯t do much. It wasn¡¯t that I had nothing to say, but I couldn¡¯t tell them that I had already understood the contents of the book, so I was unintentionally becoming a silent baby. Two more years just like that passed by. *** The princes and myself didn¡¯t have a mother. I had lost my mother very early. (I have yet to figure out of they share the same mother or not -,- explain this to me) The emperor was much more powerful than I thought, but after the empress was assassinated, he did not get remarried. The people who murdered the empress were never caught and it went by without knowing which forces were involved in the plot. Since he was an emperor who fought so many conquests, there were countless people who could do such a thing, and because of that, he taught his close aides fiercely. He thought he¡¯d give his own escort knights to the two princes and me one day. And apart from that, he taught the princes constantly to grow up stronger. The ministers said the seat of the empress should not be left vacant, but the emperor didn¡¯t listen to others. As the ministers continued to raise their demand, they neglected the management of state affairs and dictatorship, so people were in a situation where they were appropriately watched by the emperor and treated each other with misgivings. After I became four years old, there were many things to learn and many things I could see myself. I also now had my own tutors. However, the tutors tried to teach me dance, court, and lifestyle etiquette, and they tried to train me to walk gracefully, so it didn¡¯t suit me very well. ¡°Karyl, Dell. You talk to daddy well. I¡¯m learning something. I¡¯m learning what brothers are learning. Stiana¡¯s a sword, too!¡± (A blade for the mighty empire! An empire that she will rule with her darling bros to help, daddy already agreed to this. So spoken, so written, so be it) Even at my age, the princes were strictly educated and couldn¡¯t speak their minds, but I said what I wanted as it came to mind like word vomit. It was a strategic dimension. It was not easy to find someone with a cold heart enough to refuse my request when I spoke in a cute way. Rather than Adelgio, Karhill spoke better and understood my mind well, so I would actively target him. ¡°Karyl, if you convince daddy, I¡¯ll carry your sword. Is it heavy?¡± ¡°But it¡¯s not enough to ask you to listen.¡± ¡°You¡¯re cool, Karyl. You don¡¯t have to be shy. Tell me if you need help, Stiana¡¯s strong!¡± I liked carrying a sword, especially the sword that Karhill had. Karhill¡¯s sword, who had a weaker arm strength than Adelgio, was worth selling. Karhill started negotiations in earnest, wondering if he thought my attachment to the sword was unusual. (Stiana has poor Karhill wrapped right around her fingers lol) ¡°Father, there¡¯s always danger in the palace, so Stiana should be able to protect herself. The swords lessons shouldn¡¯t start right now, but I think it is necessary to get close to the swords early on.¡± That being said, he allowed me to attend their swordsmanship classes. As I was able to see the swordsmanship class for the princes, I received a sword as a gift. ¡°This is a special gift for our little princess.¡± I almost fainted because I was so genuinely happy when the emperor gave me a sword that was as tall as myself. A splendid sword stamped with jewels on the outside caught my eye. ¡®But wouldn¡¯t it be a little dangerous to give a child like myself a real sword?¡¯ Apart from the good things, such worries were serious. However, he took out the handle because I was overwhelmed. ¡®No. Are you kidding me?!¡¯ There was no blade attached to the handle. (Stiana got duped by daddy¡) The emperor burst into laughter as if he had already known that I would make such a disgruntled expression. ¡°My princess is too little to be able to lift the sword just yet. But you¡¯ll be able to drag the handle around. Let¡¯s make a proper sword when your arms get stronger. Just hang in there until then.¡± (Inset hang in there kitty poster buhahaha) Unfortunately, I couldn¡¯t help it. As time went by, it seemed better that it was without an actual blade. It would have been very disappointing if they had given me a wooden sword or a stiletto to reduce the weight of it. First of all, I was a very threatening baby. (RUN) And no matter how angry I was, I became a patient baby who never took out a sword from the scabbard. I hugged my sword close and watched my brothers taking their class. ¡°Hey, that¡¯s not how.¡± Sometimes everyone laughed when I pretended to know what I was commenting on. They wouldn¡¯t have imagined that I did it because I really knew something. ¡®Yeah, it¡¯s just a bit more time, just only a bit longer now.¡¯ Every moment I swelled with that hope. *** The whole family gathered together at early breakfast time. The emperor, the two princes, and I were family seated, but our waiters and attendants were always in a long line, so it was always a grand affair. It didn¡¯t feel special any longer because I had seen it every day while carrying out the prince, but it felt strange to be watched as a member of the family myself. ¡°What does our Stiana like best?¡± When asked as if the emperor had become suddenly curious, Karhill told him that he liked seafood. ¡°I especially like oysters. It¡¯s a fresh food that¡¯s to be eaten right away. I think it¡¯s good to eat something fresh without cooking it. Father.¡± It was Karhill¡¯s favorite. The emperor had a good feeling in that respect. ¡°Don¡¯t tell me what you want to eat.¡± Adelgio chuckled and laughed at the emperor¡¯s words. ¡°What does Stiana like?¡± The emperor suddenly asked the cook and the nanny as if he thought he had been indifferent to me. But they wouldn¡¯t know anything about it. I¡¯m not picky about what I was given, but I ate everything well. (What about brussel sprouts? The bane to every child!!) ¡°Daddy, let¡¯s go hunt!¡± While the emperor continued to question the attendants, I remembered going hunting with my men for training. The emperor¡¯s eyes shone when he suddenly remembered that he had put an animal he hunted on the fire and ate the meat before it was even fully cooked. ¡°Hunt? Do you want to watch me hunting? Shall we? My little princess loves it, huh? Okay, then let¡¯s do that. Let¡¯s go hunting.¡± The princes made an expression of wonder. I had rarely heard of hunting, so I wondered why I suddenly talked about it and how I knew about it. I¡¯m sorry about all the commentary but I was so in stitches this chapter there are so many funny moments alone in this chapter so I couldn¡¯t help myself. If you also agree let me know in DT discord, 2vPfcAbzrB. Join us for the latest updates. Chapter 9 Episode 9 ¡°You too should get ready and try to catch something. Even some rabbits and pigeons. Ahahaha.¡± The emperor teased the princes and laughed, saying, ¡°You¡¯re both so funny.¡± The princes may have wanted to catch a deer or maybe some wild boars, but they were still too much for them. I was worried that I might be making things hard for the princes by saying nonsense, but I could see the sudden expectations and excitement on their faces. The maids were suddenly busy preparing clothing for us to wear at the hunting grounds. The next day I was being held in my nanny¡¯s arms in clothing that looked purely cute without any practical function whatsoever. The emperor carried me around for a while and then entrusted me to the nanny as we entered the forest that was attached to the imperial palace. There were more than a hundred knights around us joining in the activity. Every time I saw them, I thought of my men and felt a fond sadness for them. ¡°Karhill will be taking care of Stiana.¡± When Adelgio said so, Karhill just nodded and came next to me. Adelgio was active and his body was moving before his brain even had a thought, and Karhill liked to think first before acting with his calm personality. I was relieved that Karhill was staying close next to me. ¡°Stiana, stay close to your brother.¡± ¡°Woong, Karil, don¡¯t worry!¡± Karhill¡¯s chubby hand clasped my closed hand. But it didn¡¯t last for long. Karhill was taking good care of me, but as time went by, he seemed to be jittery as his hunting fever rose. He looked like he wanted to see the prey up close. It would have been a shame that all we could see where we were was just passing glimpses. ¡°Oh, no. I keep missing it. Like this I can only keep looking at the deer butts.¡± Whenever the arrow narrowly missed its target, he would stomp the ground hard with his short legs. With an onlooker¡¯s unique confidence, he seemed frustrated because he believed he would catch everything in a row as soon as he stepped up. ¡°You guys all take care of the Princess.¡± He spoke looking at the knights, then turning towards me he wrapped my cheeks in his hands. ¡°Tiana, I think it¡¯s time for this brother to step up.¡± (Stiana abandoned for some deer¡) And then he quickly sped away. I don¡¯t think so. I don¡¯t think that him going off is going to change much. Kahill rode off on his horse before I knew it. His face was full of excitement. The nanny hugged me close while Kahill ran off and abandoned me. ¡°Adelgio! Drive it this way!¡± The emperor and Adelgio knew that Kahill had left me behind, but they didn¡¯t ask him to go back because they didn¡¯t expect much from Kahill anyway. I wanted to ride a horse and run with him. The nanny had a hard time hugging me who was wiggling. ¡°It¡¯s me! I want to see it.¡± ¡°Look here. You can see it better like this, our Highness.¡± ¡°No, I can¡¯t see well.¡± But the nanny wouldn¡¯t leave me for a moment. ¡°I want to drop you off, but I can¡¯t. Your Highness, you don¡¯t know what¡¯s going to pop out of nowhere.¡± ¡°I want to try and see too!¡± Then they stopped insisting because they thought it would be hard for them to survive if anything happened to me. After the empress was lost, the emperor became violent. It was not expressed to anyone, but appeared harsh and ruthless when removing static, but those who saw it had no choice but to fear the emperor and seemed that they were imprinted that they would not be tolerated if they made a mistake. Because of that, people in the palace were always afraid of the emperor. ¡°When the princess is a little bigger, we can do it then.¡± It was then that I felt something strange behind me. It seemed that the other people except me didn¡¯t feel the strange sensation. Even the captain of the Knights failed to sense it. He looked like he didn¡¯t feel the liveliness I felt even though he was the most outstanding person here. There were moments when I felt that my body remembered the achievements I had made in my past life, and it was the same as back then. It was as if a powerful force was trying to pierce my skin, it felt so vivid. I was in danger and the people I could trust were the Emperor and the princes, but they were far away. There was nothing I could do to call them. ¡°Hueeng!!¡± That was all I could do even though I felt on edge. My thin arms, which had no strength, no power, and couldn¡¯t lift a weapon even if I had one around. I wanted to let them know that I was in danger, but there was a man near me who was living. The person who should protect me was making me worried. Cold sweat ran down my back because I thought I could make his approach easier if I did something wrong. ¡°Huueeenng!!¡± I cried louder and huddled into the nanny. ¡°Your Highness, Your Grace, what¡¯s going on? What¡¯s wrong?¡± People approached me when I suddenly started to cry. ¡°What¡¯s wrong with your highness? I¡¯ve never seen you like this.¡± The knights who were far away also approached closer. They didn¡¯t seem to have sensed any danger until then, and they came here because I was crying strangely, but that alone worked. The maids said it was fine and comforted me. I glanced at the man who had set his sights on me in the arms of my nanny. He looked very surprised when our eyes met. Still, he would have thought it was a mere coincidence that our eyes met. He was a member of my own Knights. I cried louder, thinking that it wouldn¡¯t have been difficult to disguise himself and hide in order to get rid of me. He seemed to think that this was an opportunity, but he couldn¡¯t make up his mind as more people continued to gather around me. Soon even the emperor and the princes came riding hard. The emperor rode his horse and like the wind slid off its back. ¡°What¡¯s wrong with you, Stiana? What¡¯s happened to the princess?¡± He shouted at the maids and the knights with a look of genuine surprise. ¡°She was having a good time, but she suddenly became like this. Your Majesty.¡± The Emperor held me in his arms and looked behind me. I realized that he felt something while I was in his grasp. It would have been natural for a person who had gone through such a desperate struggle to realize this level of targeting. The opponent had lowered his presence considerably, but it was flowing again as the emperor came. The intense flesh flowed uncontrolled and disappeared completely after a while. I assumed that he was someone who lost his country and loved ones by action of the emperor. The emperor has been doing all of that to many people so far, so he can¡¯t be blamed for his rage. When I was in the arms of the emperor, I thought there was nothing to worry about, so I found his trace with confidence. The miracle disappeared wonderfully. His existence itself has disappeared, not just his presence. ¡®Where did he go? That¡¯s actually a pretty good skill. That would be enough to kill me. If you¡¯re not a different person, but a member of my Knights. It¡¯s possible, you could¡¯ve been looking for a chance. I see why I don¡¯t appear in the story of the Estion Empire.¡¯ The original Stiana might have been assassinated this way and left history. (TL note: Remember in the ¡®original¡¯ timeline there was no princess so it could have been that her existence was removed first being concealed due to the death of the empress and then removed after a potential death. But there is currently no way to check if in her original time if the princess actually existed or not.) Being born as the daughter of an emperor was certainly not something to be happy about. Even more serious being that the emperor had made many enemies all over the continent. I was thinking about it and belatedly realized that the surroundings were too quiet around me. The atmosphere was very strange. ¡®What is it?¡¯ Even before he looked up at the emperor, he was already feeling ominous. I don¡¯t think I should make eye contact with him, but I couldn¡¯t help it. His eyes were fixed on me when I looked up without much effort. Only then did I realize that my expression must have been quite different from the average child. Even if the others hadn¡¯t, the emperor would have noticed that the assassin was after me and disappeared at his appearance. At first, I had cried loudly, but as I was hugged by him I stopped crying and was lost in thought with him. Af if I forgot all the reasons I cried. ¡®Ah¡¡¯ He was looking at me with a look of great doubt. To avoid the embarrassing situation, I raised the corners of my mouth, showed my teeth, and smiled showing off my gums. Then the emperor¡¯s expression became even more strange. I was concerned about how much he had noticed. At best, he would have known that I was completely lost in thought, unaffected. But that was also bothering me. The emperor didn¡¯t let it go and his gaze turned towards me often. The nanny tried to accept me from the emperor, but he shook his head. ¡°I¡¯ll keep the princess with me because she looks surprised.¡± So he kept hugging me. The twins each caught one of my legs holding them firmly. ¡°Our Stiana is not a crying child. Why did you cry? Did you get bitten by a bug?¡± ¡°Or have you seen anything scary? I think she saw something scary. That¡¯s how you know. Our Stiana hasn¡¯t cried much in the meantime.¡± The princes repeatedly deduced. The Emperor kept looking at me as he listened to the princes chatter away, and usually his gaze didn¡¯t bother me. It was killing me as he kept his attention and gaze on me while being hugged by him. (Stiana being shy lol) I thought I should say something, but I was more worried that I would make a mistake that would be difficult to correct. Still, the hunt seemed to have ended successfully, and the emperor made a bonfire to roast the meat. It seemed as if the reason I suddenly shouted ¡®hunting¡¯ at the table was because I wanted something like this. ¡°Are you speechless because you got so surprised?¡± The princes asked me. That wasn¡¯t why, but rather because I thought that the emperor would become suspicious after potentially saying something I shouldn¡¯t have done, but I decided to just pretend being surprised. The Emperor wouldn¡¯t separate me from his grasp for even a moment. It seemed that it was because he was interested in me, along with the thought that I could have been in a dangerous situation. ¡°Wow, it looks yummy!! You should eat a lot. Babby. Is this for babby?¡± After the meat was baked, I talked a lot on purpose. ¡°Yes, Stiana. Father caught it. So be sure to eat a lot.¡± I sat on his lap and looked at the wild boar being roasted. Looking at the meat dripping with oil, I naturally could feel my appetite rising. ¡°She¡¯s still young. Can she eat this? Wouldn¡¯t it be dangerous to just roast it like this?¡± Kahill looked at my stomach and said in a worried tone. I know you¡¯re worried, but what you¡¯re upset about was disappointing. ¡°Stiana can eat.¡± The Emperor spoke out. I couldn¡¯t figure out what he was doing. Chapter 10 Episode 10 This is translated by Bane with Editing by Morin (currently unedited version) ¡°It¡¯s great like this, Stiana.¡± I also gave him a boost to his words. Sitting down on his knee felt like a prickly cushion as I watched the meat brown. The emperor held me with one arm and sliced the meat thinly with the other. He blew on the cut pieces with a ¡®Ho-ho¡¯ and brought it to my mouth. I ate like a baby bird that was being fed by its parents. The princes looked at me with envy. They glanced at us sneakingly as if they weren¡¯t looking this way. They were usually cool as if they didn¡¯t care about not receiving their father¡¯s love, but they would still be envious of what they didn¡¯t have. I chewed at the meat for a long time on purpose. While my mouth was full the emperor held what he had cut off and gave it to the princes once in a while. The princes were thrilled by the action that had never happened in the meantime before. The emperor often looked to see if everything in my mouth had disappeared. But I chewed my food for even longer intentionally, and the princes were able to eat much more. The princes were both still young and not loved even by their own mothers. The emperor seemed to think that the princes should grow up strong, but showing them a bit of love wouldn¡¯t harm them. ¡°Stiana, what are you doing chewing for so long?¡± The emperor said, ¡°You kept munching on the meat so that the princes could eat it five times over.¡± Now I felt like I had to swallow it, so I gulped it down, and the emperor cut another slice of meat as if he had been waiting for me to finish my piece. Then, at the same time, small arms popped out from here and there. The princes seemed to be waiting to feed me themselves. ¡°Dad, Stiana wants to eat what her brother gives her.¡± Karhill¡¯s words had the emperor give him a look to stop playing around. ¡°I¡¯m telling you, Dad, Stiana. You want to eat what my brother gives you, right?¡± Adelgio looked at me and asked, and I nodded my head. It was quite embarrassing at times like this. I just want them to end the tug-of-war on their own, but they keep dragging me back into the trouble. Adelgio looked triumphant and held out a piece of meat, but it was too big to fit in my mouth. ¡°Stupid.¡± Karhill shook his head and held out a smaller cut of meat. But now it was too hot. ¡°Cool it down first, Karhill! Are you going to burn Stiana¡¯s tongue?!¡± The emperor shouted out like a bolt of lightning. There was no kindness from him when the princes made mistakes, as if the only time he could be gentle was only to treat me. Karhill became sullen trying to feed me meat. Eventually, I blew on the meat myself going ¡®ho-ho¡¯ and ate what Karhill gave me. ¡°Drink what Karhill oppa gives you!¡± ¡°Right? If it¡¯s a little hot, you can cool it down in your mouth and eat it.¡± Karhill said, pouting his lips as if he was sorry for the emperor. ¡°Stiana, eat a lot and grow up like your brothers so we can do swordsmanship and play together.¡± Adelgio, who patted my head, spoke. I felt good and my stomach was full, so I ended up falling asleep on the emperor¡¯s lap. I was sleeping comfortably for a long time when I heard a whisper. ¡°Find out who¡¯s missing.¡± ¡°Yes, Your Majesty.¡± ¡°But didn¡¯t you notice anything before Stiana had started crying?¡± ¡°This, I¡¯m sorry. Your Majesty.¡± It seemed to be the leader of the Knights who was speaking to the emperor. I listened in on their conversation with my eyes closed. ¡°Stiana knew. She must have sensed something. That¡¯s why she cried. This child seems to have the ability to sense danger.¡± ¡°Her highness the princess had called out for your Majesty.¡± ¡°Yes, it¡¯s not just because she cried. Stiana cried on purpose in order to bring us together. And she also knew he had disappeared.¡± ¡°¡¡± The Knights Commander seemed unable to speak because he knew how much the emperor loved me, but he still didn¡¯t seem to believe it. ¡°Your face looks like you find it unbelievable.¡± ¡°Your Majesty, how could I look so? I believe it. Your Majesty, her Highness is the blessing of the Eastion Empire.¡± ¡°I¡¯m not asking you to say such lip service. From now on, look carefully at the princess, and if her expression is strange, be more vigilant around her. She senses danger in advance.¡± ¡°Yes, Your Majesty, I will bear this in mind.¡± The emperor held me higher and put his face on my cheek. ¡°This child, she must be protected. By any and all means necessary.¡± His voice got wet. People in the world may not have had the chance to know him properly. The outward appearance was centered on his achievements. He didn¡¯t want to know or listen to his agony. It was the same for me. When I opened my eyes, the emperor noticed me. ¡°Hey, Stiana, is there anything you want to say to me?¡± ¡°Stiana believes that daddy will protect Stiana.¡± ¡°Yes, you just have to do that in the future. Just let me know like this time. So that no one else will notice. You did a great job today. Do exactly that again next time. My lovely Stiana.¡± He hugged me tightly and said that. He seemed to think I was crying on purpose without saying anything else. I didn¡¯t mean it, but later on as I thought back on it, it was a really good job just as he said. It would¡¯ve been hard to believe if I had pointed to the assassin, and if he wasn¡¯t alone, I could¡¯ve been in an even more dangerous situation. The emperor¡¯s words that just needed to be told like this were reliable. I caressed his face. He looked down at me in surprise. The sight of me crouching alone with wounds reminded me of myself trying to wrap up all of my bandages alone. I couldn¡¯t imagine how many wounds he had. The emperor smiled at me with a moving look on his face. ¡°Daddy, Stiana loves daddy lots and lots.¡± ¡°Yes, Stiana. I love my Stiana a lot, too.¡± He kissed my cheek with a smile. I could feel his heart beating fast as my hand touched him. His heart was pounding hard with anxiety, as if he thought something bad might have happened to me. When I smiled broadly at him, the emperor looked at me with a surprised face. He must¡¯ve been thinking that I¡¯ve never laughed like that except for making a few pretentious smiles out of necessity. Happiness seemed to have been suddenly engraved on all sides of him. It was probably the first time I was truly happy to be born as his daughter, and I wanted to comfort him. *** After that day, the emperor carried me around frequently. He tried to carry me around as often as possible except for when there was a dangerous battle. The princes were proud to accompany the emperor, not just me. Until now, he had not brought them around because they were young and not yet ready, but now he seemed to have changed his mind. It seemed that if he continued to put off teaching us, thinking that we were still young, we might soon come face to face with a dangerous moment without having learned anything that could very well save our lives. When I had been in danger on the hunting grounds it seemed to have changed his thoughts entirely on the matter. I thought I could save my life just by knowing how to use the people around me, and I tried to make sure I could think in consideration of various situations that could happen. He left us in a far-away watchtower where our safety was guaranteed and gave us an explanation as we stayed by. It was a living lesson that could not be seen in a book. ¡°There¡¯s a reason to kill the enemy commander.¡± He pointed his finger to one side. The children, who were barely over ten years old, were at the front of the front line. ¡°If you¡¯re a general who commands those children to be blades, you¡¯d better cut your throat quickly. For our side, and for the enemy.¡± (TLN: I¡¯m not exactly sure of this as I think the emperor is talking to the commander about ordering children to battle and if that happens to yeet himself¡ maybe as idk who¡¯s being referenced the kids or the one commanding in this sentence) Having said that, the emperor ran out like the wind. His swordsmanship was truly phenomenal. On the other hand, however, it was actually regrettable. As time went by, the clutter of excessive motions were becoming more noticeable. He was going to get tired much faster. He breathed heavily while making a lethal attack. Most people couldn¡¯t avoid the attack even if they assumed that he was going to attack in a set pattern, but the emperor was not invincible if they met someone who had reached a noble position. There¡¯s no need to worry about that right now because he has an escort unit and other subordinates beside him, but one day his wrong moves could come back to haunt him. Looking at the Emperor¡¯s sword, I remembered my last duel. The regret grew even more as I recalled that last fight in the wilderness, the swordsmanship of the day. ¡®Was he really just a bandit boss?¡¯ No matter how many times I thought about it, it didn¡¯t seem like the truth. Even the weapons they used weren¡¯t ones that bandits often used. I also thought that the swordsmanship skills of each person I met with in the mountains were far from ordinary. ¡®Come to think of it, the swordsmanship was also unique. I thought it caused my mana to blow away in the air, but I don¡¯t think that¡¯s it. I¡¯ve never seen such unique swordsmanship.¡¯ At that time, I was not in the mood to think about such things, but when I saw the emperor¡¯s swordsmanship, it strangely reminded me of the scene again. I looked up into the air and drew the sword that had already disappeared. It was seen once again. He was waving his long hair in front of me and wielding a sword. That sword. I slowly moved my hands, recalling it. It was still a small body and poor muscle strength, but I tried. ¡°Stiana, dance later. You¡¯re rooting for our father now, aren¡¯t you?¡± Karhill said. He thought I was dancing because I was bored. From then on, I stopped moving with my body and just remembered it inside my head. Each and every movement, I remembered it vividly.
